@MrsAndMrs noo i don't! I have all my paper notes in a big folder 😂 clearly we're behind the times in Hertfordshire

Phie04 · 08/09/2020 15:19

@DSP21 I know it is very annoying!! My parents actually kept it to themselves but unfortunately not the other side of the fam!

I have an app too but it's just for appointments so I too am carrying around a massive folder! Im also out of area to my trust as I live in Solihull but part of the Birmingham trust so I have a midwife at my GP with documents for her, and then an antenatal book for the womens hospital 🙄. Would be good for it all to be on one system!

MrsAndMrs · 08/09/2020 15:23

@Dipsy77 @Phie04 mine has all my information, bloods, appointments, scan results etc. Its not the most sophisticated app but its good to be able to see check up outcomes etc

Wren1986 · 08/09/2020 15:57

So glad to see all the positive scans over the last few days!
I just had my letter through with my screening results (only took 6 days!), I'm low risk, T13/18 are 1 in 8522 but T21 (Downs) has come back at 1 in 434. I'm such a worrier and will most likely book a Harmony test to be sure that all is fine (as that result is higher than expected for my age)... has anyone else had their results back yet?

LuHen · 08/09/2020 16:05

@ChubbyMumFromSkye ahh yay, how lovely I'm the same as you guys! They said the date won't change now, March 13th. Actually doesn't feel that far away Shock

holb54 · 08/09/2020 16:14

@LuHen I think it's a nice month to be due, there's Halloween, Christmas and New Year's which always seem to fly and before we know it then they'll be Easter eggs in the shops and we'll know it's near time 😂

ChilternsHan · 08/09/2020 16:22

@Wren1986 I've had mine back - downs was 1 in 3088 and Edwards/Patau was 1 in 100,000.

They actually came through really quickly - scan on Tues, got the letter on the Friday.

Congratulations @Phie04 and @LuHen - lovely scans!

Phie04 · 08/09/2020 16:23

@holb54 this is my favourite time of year and im glad they will be old enough next year to kind of know what is happening! It's going to be a fun few years!

Wren1986 · 08/09/2020 16:29

@ChilternsHan those are great results, you must be relieved! I was hoping to be in the thousands for Downs, I'm in a weird place where technically I shouldn't be too worried but it's going to bother me unless I do the more accurate screening test I think.

LuHen · 08/09/2020 16:36

@holb54 yes we have so many lovely hols to look forward to and i think pregnancy this summer would have been tough! So hot!

No eggs will be safe from me if I carry on with this pregnancy induced appetite. Uh oh Grin I feel like my diet consists of mini cheddar, PB and jam on toast and cereal. Why not add easter eggs into the mix Blush

AFP10 · 08/09/2020 16:46

So pleased to have found this group. Thank you. Dating scan yesterday and I'm 12+4 EDD 19th March. All going well.

I'm really am over the moon as was told I could not conceive. We were due to adopt and even relocated to be closer to family to increase our chances at panel. MC earlier this year which has led to this miracle. Despite the happiness I'm struggling to get my head round it all.......feels like if I blink March will be here and I won't be prepared. Anyone else feeling like this?

Taylortyler · 08/09/2020 17:01

@AFP10 welcome and congratulations- I feel like this pregnancy is going to fly by and March will role round and I'll not have bought anything!

In other news I am so fat and bloated and can't stop eating I literally cannot believe no one at my work has guessed yet- I look about 8 months 🙈

Rosehips89 · 08/09/2020 17:13

Why can't we eat faggots? I'm really hankering after sloppy gravy dinner for the first time in 3 months and I'm desperate for some nice brains faggots. I've heard it's on the no list, but surely 2 can't hurt, can it?

Taylortyler · 08/09/2020 17:28

@Rosehips89 no idea I am craving pate but we're not allowed offal for some reason

SnickerdoodleSnek · 08/09/2020 17:41

@MrsAndMrs That's bloody awful about Facebook comments! Never understand why people need to be so invasive on pregnancies! It's nobody's business except yours and your partner's.

@Rosehips89 Oh, now I'm craving Brain's faggots! No idea why we can't have them! Is it just the content and quality of the pork? I know sausages are a bit dubious for that reason.

SnickerdoodleSnek · 08/09/2020 17:43

I've just checked, turns out they have 15% liver and other offal in them! So the vit A content is the issue! What a shame. 😭

Mrs1989 · 08/09/2020 17:44

Congratulations to those ladies who have had their scans today! Thanks also to those who have advised on when screening results may come back after the scan - I had been wondering about that.

I think up until 20 weeks is going to drag but after then I think pregnancy will go in the blink of an eye!

I have held off making lists of what I need until after my scan on Monday and fingers crossed good news. But will be glad to get on and get organised! A list will be essential or my head will explode! xxx

Rosehips89 · 08/09/2020 18:06

@snicjerdoodlesnek 😭 guess I'll have to find something else, then. First time I've really had an appetite and It's for something we can't have! It's a good job cheese is ok!

JTB123 · 08/09/2020 18:18

@Aurora124 I'm not finding out what I'm having but my boy name is Rupert too! 💓 baby roo 😍

Babafarmer · 08/09/2020 18:24

Lovely scans @LuHen and @Phie04.

@ElsiesJourney I got my results back too and I'm very low risk. It was such a nice feeling I burst into tears and felt much more relaxed recently.

@Wren1986 my downs result was 1:13021 and the E&P 1:50000

I have also booked a gender scan which is 2 weeks tomorrow.

@aureliacecilia I'm up for a Facebook group from 1st of October. It'll be nice for everyone to join at the same time and we can figure out who everyone is.

I've got the pregnancy notes app up in Cumbria but I think I'd rather have paper then I know everything is written down.

JTB123 · 08/09/2020 18:31

Totally up for a fb group, I've got the very last scan on the 22nd so I can understand if you don't want to wait for me 🤣🤣

aureliacecilia · 08/09/2020 18:33

Glad 1st October works for everyone. It's only about three weeks to go. I might be a bit quieter this week as I'm trying not to get ahead of myself for my first scan on Tuesday. If there is a new thread in that time please tag me. Only a week to go now - bound to feel like the world's longest week ever. My symptoms are still really only acne (getting worse, bleurghhh) and early pelvic girdle pain.

Phie04 · 08/09/2020 18:37

Does anyone know what happens with the flu vaccine? Do we get it from our GPs or with the whooping cough at 16 weeks?

chloxhunt · 08/09/2020 18:39

@Phie04 I was thinking that but I got my letter yesterday inviting me to book an appointment but also says if you're coming to the surgery for another reason it'll be done there and then but i booked an appointment anyways

Phie04 · 08/09/2020 18:43

@chloxhunt my surgery specifically says not to phone the surgery so I'm hoping il get it at 16 weeks. Covid cases are really rising in my area so id prefer to get it sooner than later incase I get both at the same time! It would just be my luck 😩
