@MummyShark97 Congratulations!!!! What a good weight for him. I hope you're doing ok! 🥰

lionsmum · 23/09/2020 17:13

Oh my gosh @nearlyamummyof2boys I'm welling up reading your post, I'm so over the moon for you both and your beautiful boy💙 there was no putting off his entry to the world, I'm so glad he is here safe. Having a baby in the NICU isn't an easy task so just a little remember to look after yourself, as the staff will be taking wonderful care of your boy whilst he's there. What a fantastic weight too! Sending so much love your way.
Wyatt, our thread's first baby!😍

confused107 · 23/09/2020 17:15

@nearlyamummyof2boys massive congratulations. So pleased little Wyatt is doing well and getting the best care. Hope you are feeling ok too. Lots of love xx

danielasummer · 23/09/2020 17:16

@nearlyamummyof2boys wow congratulations lovely!! I have been watching the thread and waiting for your announcement! Gorgeous name too. You must be so exhausted but also so relieved, and so proud of yourself, we are all proud of you - you've been through so much! Sending you and Wyatt loads of positive vibes and strength. Keep this thread updated on his progress please! xx

Jellycat2020 · 23/09/2020 17:53

@nearlyamummyof2boys massive congratulations! 😊 He's a little chonk for that age!

loobeelou · 23/09/2020 17:58

Welcome to the world Wyatt. Congratulations to you and your OH @nearlyamummyof2boys. A good weight for a preemie, wishing you a speedy recovery and lots of well wishes to your little man.

Pinktruffle · 23/09/2020 18:47

Congratulations on Wyatt's birth @nearlyamummyof2boys, a great weight for 32 weeks. I can't believe this is the third baby of the group already! It's brilliant that your partner is being allowed to visit every day, I'm sure that will be a great support to you. I hope you are getting looked after.

I'm not sure how the twins are doing as @StephRae hasn't posted in a while but hope she and the babies are doing ok.

kkr168 · 23/09/2020 19:14

I had a huge envelope arrive today from the health visitor, it contained lots of leaflets & the baby's health record book. She has booked a home visit on the 14th October, I'll be 34 weeks, is this new? When my son was born 17 years ago, I didn't see the health visitor until after he was born.

lc86 · 23/09/2020 19:30

@nearlyamummyof2boys 4.2 wow!!! Congratulations!! Wishing you both a speedy recovery ready for home.. feel all emotional knowing you've had him, sounds like you're both doing great 💙❤️

Amyyy1 · 23/09/2020 19:44

@kkr168 I have a video appointment booked for next week when I am 32 weeks with a health visitor- I was a bit confused why and what it was for as I was under the impression you only see/speak once the baby is here!

peachypetite · 23/09/2020 19:51

I got a phone call from the health visitor, it was a few weeks before 28 weeks so she said she would call back. Just realised she hasn’t.

december2020 · 23/09/2020 20:52

Omg this thread does move fast! I love it!

@Asianchick6693 oh wow that sounds super hard! I hope they're able to help you with a solution on the maternity action thing

@nearlyamummyof2boys congrats!!! And I love the name!! How are you both doing?

Work is so hectic at the moment, I can barely keep up trying to deliver all these big projects. This is definitely not how I expected to spend my last 10 weeks! And our house bedroom renovation/redecoration starts on Monday. 🙈

NaomiB79 · 23/09/2020 21:31

@nearlyamummyof2boys congratulations on baby Wyatt arriving today, that's so wonderful and he's a really good weight! 💙. You must be so relieved he's here safe and well after everything you've been through in this pregnancy. Such lovely news to come on the thread and see! Hope you are getting some time to relax and rest. Sending lots of love to your and your wee family. Keep us posted with how you are all doing when you can xx

BG1234 · 23/09/2020 21:38

Congratulations @nearlyamummyof2boys! How exciting! Glad he is doing well!
The fact that there are more births in this group is making it so real!

I had a health visitor phone call @kkr168, apparently they are now doing a pre-birth call/visit so that you’ve got that continuity of care and it’s a familiar face after the baby is born.

Babyhope98 · 23/09/2020 21:52

Wow congratulations @nearlyamummyof2boys glad he is doing well and a lovely weight too hope you can cuddle him soon!! ❤️

Babyhope98 · 23/09/2020 21:59

I measured ahead on everything too at private scan and two weeks ahead on legs at 26 weeks but when they measured my bump was on the smaller side of normal so I don’t know if she’s big or not 😅 @Amyyy1

Jwl45 · 23/09/2020 23:32

@nearlyamummyof2boys
A huge congratulations to you... Welcome to the world little Wyatt. Hope you're both doing well. Take care 💙 xxx

PipTed · 23/09/2020 23:34

@nearlyamummyof2boys congratulations - so glad you’re both doing well! Keep us posted on how you’re all doing. 🥰

Jwl45 · 23/09/2020 23:38

@Piggle21
I have quieter days than others.. but a pattern of sorts will come. I'm now 32+5 ... We now have a pattern of movement - but saying that, she is busier some days and not so the next. Movements are sometimes bigger / smaller... Differs. If I feel like she hasn't moved for a bit, i lie on my left side... Or rub my belly/ poke gently and she will have a wriggle.

peachypetite · 24/09/2020 04:21

Anyone else up? I’ve been to the loo twice in the last half an hour and feeling really thirsty. Can tell I’m not getting back to sleep now. Seem to have one of these bad nights every few weeks and I feel ruined the next day!

MummyShark97 · 24/09/2020 05:53

@peachypetite I always seem to wake up around 4 now needing the loo

Yes to feeling thirsty too but always want it absolutely ice cold as well!

Oh @nearlyamummyof2boys congratulations! Little Wyatt must have been so ready to meet you. NICU are amazing and they will look after both of you so well. Let me know if you ever need to chat preemies, they’re a whole rollercoaster of their own! Congratulations again, you’ve both done brilliantly. Xxx
