Ok, its pointless poll time.

What cravings did you have and if you have more than one DC, what was the sex?

Am just having a bit of fun to see if i can predict what this one is going to be before ethe scan although i know that its all boys on DPs side so likely to be another boy!

Lavender (not to eat - but to bathe in, wash clothes in, burn, put on tissues to sniff on the train - you name it, I lavendered it. I only didn't eat it because I didn't realize at the time that you could! Baby girl.

Mint - the same as the lavender but with additional mint tea made with mint tea bag and a huge bunch of fresh mint added. Baby boy.

Orange juice with bits in, sour as I could get, NOTHING sweet at all, even the word biscuit made me heave - boy.

Can't remember anything particular - another boy.

DD1 - Pink grapefruit - tinned in its own juices though - NOT fresh - even down to me buying pink grapefruit washing up liquid
DS1 - Mozzarella cheese ... grilled with a fresh tomato placed on top for the last 10 seconds
DD2 Fish, Fish and more Fish - But Fish and Chip stylee - not for the batter but for the steamy fish inside .... i was 8.5 months pregnant and travelled up to London to meet DH and some friends for a lunch ( Taxi driver was hoping my waters would break so he could do an emergency dash or better still deliver the baby in the back of the cab!!)anyway met them in an incredibly expensive reataurant - Petrus in St James - all bleedin' Foie Grois and amuse bouche .... Gordon Ramsey owned it ( actually still does but doesn't "cook" there now) and all I wanted was fish and chips ........ so St Gordon of the Ramsey made it for me in the lightest of batters ( think Tempura with a bit of depth )and 6 (handcut)chips and a pot of pea purée ( also known as mushy peas !!).... I was in heaven

No cravings. girl.

Well, actually, I did crave sausages and I was a vegetarian up until 6 months. But, I'd always had a secret craving for sausages.

And, chocolate. But, I'm a chocoholic so can't b;ame the pregnancy for that either.

OverRated · 06/10/2007 04:05

Meat (except casserole & meatballs). I had a boy. I knew he was going to be a boy.

ILovePudding · 06/10/2007 04:41

Spicy food. Portuguese chicken with peri peri sauce was my favourite. And anything bread related. I had a girl.

ChantillyLace · 06/10/2007 12:54

DD1 was marmite and cream cheese sandwiches on brown bread with a bowl of pickled onions!!

DD2 oranges by the pound!!

DD3 Lyons Cup Cakes (but not the chocolate ones, just the orange and lemon)!

nimnom · 06/10/2007 13:08

DS1 Fruit from around 20 weeks, but chocolate made me physically sick all the way through (I kept trying it just to make sure!!)

DS2 White bread & butter for the first twelve weeks

My sister crunched ice with all three of hers (2 ds and 1 dd)

fruitymum · 06/10/2007 13:09

Tropicana grapefruit juice - Girl

Swaliswan · 06/10/2007 13:21

My mum knew that I was going to have a girl because I was craving lemons just like she did when she was expecting me. She wasn't at all surprised when DD was born.

MillieMummy · 06/10/2007 13:26

Hummus, then had a girl. Steak, then had a boy.

Weegle · 06/10/2007 17:57

Anything citrus - infact took to clementines at the xmas and I'd never touched them before. And tomatoes. Had a boy. He now adores both of these.

TheDuchessOfCorpseBride · 06/10/2007 18:31

Oranges and carrots everytime. I have 2 DDs and a DS. I am now pregnant with no. 4 and have eaten 3 oranges already today.

Kerri28 · 06/10/2007 18:34

bobsmum · 06/10/2007 18:37

BabyValentine · 06/10/2007 20:29

Blondilocks · 06/10/2007 20:43

I didn't really crave anything, but couldn't eat potatoes. Now DD isn't a fan of potatoes.

Did anyone else notice something like that?
