12 week scan nerves

My 12 week scan is tomorrow, and as with DC1, I’m now a bag of nerves

Not helping is the fact I have to go alone, not the end of the world but still would prefer DH to be there.

I had an early scan at 7 weeks but it still doesn’t take away the nerves. I will be like this again just before my 20 week scan.

Anyway else due this week and nervous?

Anyone here got Rhesus Negative blood type?

Well, we had our private 12 week scan today (didn’t want to attend NHS scan on weds alone if something bad had happened, so now I’m more prepared for Wednesday... phew!) and ours went really well. I’ve been sick with worry for weeks as I’ve had no symptoms since my big red bleed at 9+4. So anyone panicking about a red bleed, cramps, complete symptom drop off and pregnancy after 2x mcs, it’s not game over! I cried and cried. And then we got fish and chips... now to TELL people! Look at this potato!

Just got home from our private scan too, and all seems perfect! Blood test results should be back this week but apparently the measurement was completely normal 😃😃 little one was doing sit ups while we watched haha!

@Bambino87 @EssJayyCee I'm rhesus negative too! Practically got told off by the nurse who took my blood!
But I'm O neg so it's my blood you'd get in a car crash (I've been a blood donor for years)!
DH is actually O neg too - so I think that means our baby will be too...

No way why did she tell you off?

I'm sure my daughter was born negative also as I don't remember getting anti D after she was born!

I just got bloods done on Friday so not sure what group yet! Xxx

Is this your first? The anti D jag at 28 weeks isn't the most pleasant but last time I just asked for it in my bum the fattest part of my body 🤣 I think we just need to be really careful for any bumps to bump/baby and if you have any bleeds need to contact hospital ASAP xxx

I've had so many injections (living abroad) that I am actually no longer fussed... once had 5 in one sitting lol

Hello everyone, so my 20 week scan is on Monday and the old nerves are settling in again.

I’ve had two extra scans since my 12 week scan (surprise quick ones with consultant - I didn’t realise they would scan me everytime!) but the big one is creeping up.

How are you all doing?
