KJB2020 · 20/03/2021 21:20

Congratulations @Homassy, great to hear you are both doing well 💗

Wavesandsmilesencore · 22/03/2021 08:32

Congratulations @Homassy! Amazing to get home so quickly afterwards, glad all is well 😊

Wavesandsmilesencore · 14/04/2021 14:13

Checking and hoping all is going well with the new arrivals and ongoing pregnancies... my little boy arrived in the early hours of this morning and I’m head over heels in love. It was a quite horrid labour culminating in emergency c section despite managing to get to 10cm dilated, so feels like I had a two for the price of one birth experience! Due to me getting a probable infection and just general roles here, seems we will be in for another 3 nights which is less fun 😞

Congratulations @Homassy and @Wavesandsmilesencore ❤️

All good here. Baby is 6 weeks old now and gaining weight well after her early arrival. She's still jaundiced (classes as prolonged jaundice) so we're having to make regular trips to the hospital for tests as they can't work out why it's not reducing quicker. Hopefully nothing to worry about as she's putting on weight well and doesn't have any other symptoms (prolonged jaundice can be because of a liver problem).

Hope your infection is getting better @Wavesandsmilesencore and you can get home soon.

Hey ladies, I don't know if you remember me from a few months ago!

It was so lovely seeing your updates! Congratulations on your beautiful, healthy, happy babies! 😍😍😍

Today I just got a BFP! Torn between being ecstatic and panicking about another MC, but I just need to try and be positive and take each day as it comes! 😃😃😃

We've just recently got a few more BFPs in the 35+ group, so I'll need to send them this way! 😃

KJB2020 · 28/04/2021 16:07

Hi @M4v3r1ck congratulations!

kwastell · 28/04/2021 16:43

Lovely news @M4v3r1ck 🎉

How far along are you? Definitely scary after a miscarriage, hope you're ok and are able to enjoy it. Got my fingers crossed for you.

Great news @M4v3r1ck ❤️😊 x

Gummybear17 · 28/04/2021 18:46

Hi ladies hope you don't mind me going I'm 38 and got my BFP a few weeks ago now ! I'm a nervous wreck at the minute hoping all is going ok in there !!!

TTCat39 · 28/04/2021 21:45

Hello, can I jon please? Following @M4v3r1ck and others from the amazingly supportive TTC group. I'm 4+4 today and this is my first pregnancy, at age 39. I'm absolutely thrilled to have got the BFP, but nervous that it won't stick.

Symptoms are all new to me, having never been here before! I've known for a week now and have really achey boobs, light cramping / bubbling in my lower pelvis area, and the occasional lightning crotch! Confused

M4v3r1ck · 29/04/2021 08:17

Thanks, ladies! It's very early for me - just coming up for 4 weeks! But trying to be positive and hopeful vs worrying! 😃

@TTCat39 @Gummybear17 yay good to see some familiar faces! 😍 Here's to some healthy and happy pregnancies! 😃🤞🏻

Catconfusion · 30/04/2021 11:46

Hey ladies can I join? Just got a bfp today. I’m just under 4 weeks so incredibly early but I’m freaking out!

I’m 41 and had my ds last April after a mmc and another early loss. I fell pregnant accidentally at Christmas at 9 months pp but lost that pregnancy early on. I’m under no illusion this could go either way but we’re very hopeful this is it as I’m 42 in June and we’re hoping for two dc.

Looking forward to chatting and hoping I can stay! Xx

Catconfusion · 30/04/2021 11:49

@M4v3r1ck virtual hugs to you. It’s so tough being at this very early stage, especially after a loss. Fingers crossed for us! Xx

TTCat39 · 01/05/2021 15:43

Hi, how is everyone getting on? I am KNACKERED! I'm only 5 weeks today but my god, struggling to keep my eyes open. I'm an active person and I'm keeping up with that, but I'm really tired in the afternoons and by 7pm I just want to go to bed!

Gummybear17 · 01/05/2021 18:54

@TTCat39 I am absolutely shattered too , my other half keeps telling I'm too early to be tired I love how men think they can comment on how you should be feeling !!

Catconfusion · 01/05/2021 18:55

Hey @TTCat39 I hear you on the tiredness front. I’m not even 4 weeks yet and I’m exhausted.

Is anyone else getting cramping? I know I got it with my ds but it’s so triggering as I’ve had losses before. I’m thinking it could be a bit worse as I had a c section just over a year ago. Is anyone else pregnant after a c section? Xx

TTCat39 · 01/05/2021 19:01

@Gummybear17 @Catconfusion It's completely draining isn't it! The only way I can describe it is like when you get up in the middle of the night to go for a wee, all bleary eyed and half asleep. It starts creeping up on me mid afternoon and I can't shake it. I've never been a napper, but I think I'll have to learn!

Catconfusion · 01/05/2021 19:16

@Gummybear17 I don’t think there’s such a thing as too early. Our bodies go through so many rapid changes it’s no surprise we’re exhausted. Men don’t have the hormonal shifts we have. I wish they could experience it just once and then they’d know. Xx

Catconfusion · 01/05/2021 19:18

@TTCat39 I know what you mean. It does creep up, especially if you’re busy. Luckily I’m a napper. Must be hard if you find napping hard! Xx

Gummybear17 · 03/05/2021 17:44

@Catconfusion tell me about it . I am so over being told how I 'should' be feeling and at what point . Fact is I'm nearly 39 I have 2 demanding kids a demanding job and I'm growing a precious bean ! I am so grateful for all those things but it is exhausting! X

Gummybear17 · 03/05/2021 17:45

@M4v3r1ck how are things ?
