Is anyone else struggling with the fatigue? I'm using my lunch hour to nap and then straight after work I sleep I have dinner and then go to bed!

Sexnotgender · 28/08/2020 13:15

I am exhausted. Tried to have a nap earlier and just couldn’t get to sleep which is frustrating!

BEESY90 · 28/08/2020 13:25

Hi Everyone can I join? Im expecting my 4th on 19/4. My 3 are older though so feels like my 1st again. Have the most severe sickness literally 24/7! Its nice to see I am not alone! X

Tiff94 · 28/08/2020 13:40

@xxhetty me 👋 I have a sleep every day now before dinner thank god my DH has taken over cooking duties for me cause I sleep from 4:30-7:30/8 most. Iggy wake up eat and then sleep gain by 9:30/10. At work I have to keep sitting down and taking a break to catch my breath if I could nap during work I totally would haha.

@Tiff94 I'm so glad to be working from home at the moment! I keep getting worried that although I'm really nauseous I'm not actually throwing up it's such a weird time. I'm looking forward to my early scan on Sunday fingers and everything else crossed!

Tiff94 · 28/08/2020 14:15

@xxhetty how far are you now my actually throwing up didn't kick in til 7weeks to the day and hasn't stopped since the nausea started at like 3 weeks days after testing positive. I got my fingers crossed for you for Sunday I'm sure everything will be perfect.xxx

Hello, I am 5 +2.
This is my first and we were trying before lockdown and then unfortunately my mum suddenly passed away (aneurysm).
We didn't intentionally stop trying just thought due to the stress it wouldn't happen. I'm due 28th April which would be the day before my mum's birthday.
I've got lower back pain and cramping. Slight nausea and hot flushes.
I'm okay when stood up but sitting down is uncomfortable on my lower back.

xxhetty · 28/08/2020 14:46

@Tiff94 I am 7 weeks 5/6 days I'm so sorry you keep throwing up that must be awful!

xxhetty · 28/08/2020 14:47

@Jul28 congratulations but I'm so sorry to hear about your mum how lovely you are due around her birthday though!

Jul28 · 28/08/2020 14:51

@xxhetty
Thank you. It's come as a comfort knowing mum is still somehow involved. Although I doubt baby will arrive on due date.

It's comforting reading everyone's post, I feel like such a worrier. Constantly checking my symptoms are normal. I'm hoping lower back pain is normal at this stage.
I have an early scan in 3 weeks so just hoping all is well. Fingers crossed for everyone.
I think 2021 needs to be a good year for everyone.

Welliedays · 28/08/2020 16:05

Ahh welcome @jul28 I'm currently 5 weeks +1, due on your mum's birthday (29th April). Also having our first, had a chemical last month so I keep stressing that this one won't stick! I get lower back ache too, waves of fatigue, big waves of heartburn and nausea and my boobs...lets not even go there hahaha I had to go and buy new bras yesterday. Also keep feeling like AF is on her way, but it's just cramping and increased amounts of CM 🙈🤷🏼‍♀️

Jul28 · 28/08/2020 17:12

@Welliedays
So good to know I'm not the only one with back ache.
I'm sure this one will stick. It's such a hard time waiting around for the scan.
Yes my boobs are very sensitive lol.
A bra is on my to do list this weekend.
I'm constantly burping, husband keeps giving me a look. 😂

I'm trying not to think too much about the pregnancy since it's early days, but hoping it sticks and all is well.
Hope your not worrying too much.

Welliedays · 28/08/2020 17:34

I'm trying not to think about it too much as well @jul28! I got some maternity/nursing ones from primark which are actually really comfy... I normally don't like primark bras!and some crop top style ones from Asda which I slept in one last night. I didn't want to spend a fortune as I don't know how they'll fit for 😂 I seem to have started on burping as well 💁🏼‍♀️ 😂

firsttimemummyxxxxx · 28/08/2020 18:15

MuffinOfTheYear · 31/08/2020 17:34

Hello everyone and congratulations to your pregnancies! :)
I'm completely new to mumsnet and the discussion, there is not many pregnant ladies around me so I'm looking for friendly souls that are in the same boat as me.
We started ttc just before the pandemic and got a chemical pregnancy on the first try. Both that and the pandemic came as a shock and so I wanted to wait a little. Now I'm 7w 3d and this will be my first baby.
I'm very excited and very nervous at the same time. Have an early scan booked for next Saturday and counting minutes..
I've been nauseous since the start of 4w and so tired the days are a fight between not being sick and trying to figure when to have my next nap 😁
Today I feel super sad and emotional, without any reason. Anyone else has unexplained mood swings?

MuffinOfTheYear · 31/08/2020 17:37

I'm so sorry for your loss! I wish you fast recovery and hope there is a successful pregnancy and a beutiful baby waiting for you ahead. 💛🌈

megmcc93 · 31/08/2020 17:57

@Noneyerbuisness11234 I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you are as ok as can be and take care of yourself.

@MuffinOfTheYear welcome 😊 congratulations!
I've had sickness and tiredness since week 4 too! It's awful, I really underestimated pregnancy, but it's exciting too and I just keep thinking as long as my little bean is ok, I'm happy. I haven't had much more mood swings that normal, but my sense of smell is so much more intense! Everything smells so strong to me.

Tiff94 · 31/08/2020 19:07

@Noneyerbuisness11234 I'm so very sorry to hear your sad news I wish you a quick recovery. Rest up and take it easy I wish you all the best in the future xxx
