Hey all the newbies 👋👋 congratulations on your BFPs so happy to have you as part of the April 2021 baby group.

@EmB29 most of us here booked early scans for the same reason no one wants to reassure you until 12 weeks which is a bummer for us sitting here thinking but are we actually pregnant haha 😂 I'm sure you'd scan will go great just as our have done. I had my at 6+4 and saw the little heart beat. My first baby and pregnancy ever. My sickness has been rather extreme I'm hopi g it eases up soon.
How is everyone else today ?

Yes, we'll come everyone still joining us!

To be honest, I feel a bit crampy and like AF is on her way today but I think I felt similar this time last week too. I'm only 4 weeks 5 days so early days for me still. Boobs have definitely grown though, I'm down to one sports bra that is comfy aha

megmcc93 · 26/08/2020 10:20

@Olive1701 thank you. Just had blood results back and they seem as they should be. So hopefully scan will be ok tomorrow.

I've told my and my boyfriends family, some close friends and my boss. I've told the people I would want to speak to or that I would want to know if anything happens.

@EmB29 I feel the same, it's so hard not having any reassurance except from preg tests! I had already booked a scan at 8 weeks as well, I don't want to get in the habit of scanning all the time, but I think it'll be the only way to put my mind at rest.

Serethiel · 26/08/2020 11:13

4 weeks today until my scan :)

I'm 8+5, at 8+3 last pregnancy I began bleeding and ended in MC. I will glad to hit the 10 week mark so I've progressed further than the MC pregnancy. It is so difficult to feel reassured. I have severe sickness which I guess is reassuring but also a giant pain in the bum. I had a scan on the 18th of August and saw baby with a heartbeat which was reassuring but in desperate to book another one!

Noneyerbuisness11234 · 26/08/2020 11:21

Good morning ladies
Welcome newbies
anyone else suffering with terrible headaches mines is banging constantly can't wait for my scan in 2 weeks

Sexnotgender · 26/08/2020 11:40

Morning! Welcome everyone.

I’ve spent the morning feeling nauseous and bloated! Also not loving the long meetings I have today as I need to pee all the time😂

LeopardLover · 26/08/2020 11:58

@Serethiel I'm so sorry for your previous loss. 😔 It's a very positive sign the baby was doing well at your last scan and you're now further along than last time! I'd love to skip forward to the 12 week scan 😂 I'm only 5+6!

No symptoms today. Hoping I get more from 6 weeks.

AlbertCookie · 26/08/2020 12:02

Hi all,
I had my early scan at the hospital today to check its not another ectopic.
I'm 6+3 and little bean is in the right place! Even saw a little heartbeat. I'm so relieved.

Tiff94 · 26/08/2020 12:36

@AlbertCookie so happy for you that you seem little beans heart beat. Such an amazing sight.

@LeopardLover I wouldn't wish symptoms on yourself especially when some of us our sickness has been so bad you can barely do anything other then lay in bed all day. My sickness started right on 7 weeks and it's gotten worst each day.

@Sexnotgender I feel you same here I'm at work again today and feeling so awful will finish what I need to do then head home as I feel worst the more I do.

@Tiff94 is your sickness getting any better? Feel for you! Have you spoken to doctor to see of they can help?
I have a really nervy scan tomorrow to check up from last weeks 2 trips in the EPU, really stressed about it all.
Trying to stay distracted but impossible.

@Albertcookie such good news and so good with little heartbeat! X

@Sexnotgender are you in the office now? At least If home can sneak away and hope no one asks you anything! Grin

@Noneyerbuisness11234 yes to the headaches! Been on and off for weeks now and odd dizzy moments. Keep drinking lots of water, get fresh air and reduce screen time is all I have been trying.

megmcc93 · 26/08/2020 17:26

@Milliemoo222 good luck with your scan tomorrow; I feel the same as have a scan at 10am, I just hope my little bean is in the right place and I hope I can see a heartbeat.

@Tiff94 I feel your pain with the sickness - I've barely been able to do anything. You should speak to your doctor, mine have been really good and I'm on cyclizine.

@AlbertCookie so pleased your scan went ok 😊 must be such a relief.

Milliemoo222 · 26/08/2020 18:15

@megmcc93 good luck to you too! Thank you !

easterbuns1 · 26/08/2020 18:18

Is anyone not having an early scan and waiting until their dating scan? I've had bleeds at various points in my other pregnancies so always ended up with one anyways but I'm hoping tat isn't the case this time and don't plan on booking a private one.

Welliedays · 26/08/2020 19:00

I'm not having one @easterbuns1. Tbh I don't really qnat to spend £80 on something that wont tell me anything that I won't find out for free 4 weeks later. And as you say, all could be well the day of the scan and go wrong the following one. I think it would get me in the mindset of wanting to scan all the time and I actually don't know if that's a healthy obsession aha

Sexnotgender · 26/08/2020 19:43

I’m not having one. I keep looking at them and decided not to.

Sexnotgender · 26/08/2020 19:44

Hope all goes well tomorrow @Milliemoo222 Flowers

I’m WFH thankfully so can hide away when I’m sick.

AlbertCookie · 26/08/2020 20:36

@Milliemoo222 @megmcc93 Good luck for your scans! Flowers

Busybee143 · 26/08/2020 20:59

@easterbuns1 I don't think I'm going to have one, I had one at 6 weeks last time and the baby wasn't measuring up properly and it really stressed me out (I started spotting 10 days later then miscarried a week ish after that) I'd honestly rather not know and just get checked if I do happen to have a bleed but hopefully I won't

easterbuns1 · 26/08/2020 21:32

I feel a bit less weird then, thought I was maybe the only one. Can totally understand some folk take reassurance from them if that what they need but I'd definitely rather wait unless there's a problem. Without wanting to sound too negative I think because I've seen a heartbeat in all my early scans and then had both outcomes at subsequent ones it makes me more wary that it's just a snapshot of that exact moment.

Tiff94 · 26/08/2020 23:54

@Milliemoo222 @megmcc93 have seen the doctor twice last week been put on cyclizine first didn't work now on another one as well still don't find them working the best have bloods first up tomorrow morning trust me I'm so over being sick I can barely go out in the car without immediately vomiting moment we stop. Good luck tomorrow with you scan @Milliemoo222 I'm sure everything will be prefect xx

@megmcc93 good luck with you scan as well I'm sure you will see little bean and the heart beat xx

megmcc93 · 27/08/2020 08:54

@Tiff94 I feel for you! I have found the cyclizine keeps the being sick at bay but I still feel sick, better than nothing. I hope you find something that works soon Thanks

AlbertCookie · 27/08/2020 10:40

Morning, ive just had the first instance of actually physically throwing up.....but it was rather bloody. Do you think it's anything to worry about? Any suggestions?

Catwoman1985 · 27/08/2020 10:42

Hi everyone we're currently 6+2 and like a lot of people are due roughly April 20th. We're a bit anxious as the dreaded ClearBlue digital hadn't moved to 3+ weeks the last time we tested but hopefully will have when we test again. We had an early miscarriage last time around so nerves a bit more jingly at the minute then they should. Sore boobs and bloated but not much nausea (yet!)

Sexnotgender · 27/08/2020 10:42

I’ve only started being physically sick this morning too.

How bloody are we talking?
