Baby buddies due April 202

I thought I'd start a thread now that we have recieved our BFP. And for anyone else who has just find out there expecting and will be due in April 2021x

Little about me this will be mine and Dh 1st baby we started try's about 6/7weeks ago. So feel very blessed to see double lines the last couple days. Xx

It’s absolute carnage. Thankfully my husband is also WFH so we’re juggling it the best we can. Little guy is 18 months and usually great but currently cutting his molars so is a bit clingy and not sleeping well.
He goes back to nursery in 2 weeks which is a bit bittersweet, it’s been so hard working and looking after him but also we’ve had so much more time with him which is so precious at this age.

I've 5 weeks exactly with my first baby - very anxious but so excited too.

Anyone else struggling/struggled with morning sickness from week 4? I've had to have the day off work and I just can't keep anything aside ginger biscuits and soup down?

@megmcc93 I didn't realise there was another chat,this is the first one I stumbled upon! I get so confused which week is which.... Do you say you're 4 weeks at the start of week 4 or at the of week 4?! So much to learn hahahahaha I'm still super early, my period isn't due until Thursday but I tested on Sunday and got a BFP.. Still early days and I had a chemical last month so being extra cautious and not getting excited just yet!

Is pain in your vagina kind of area quite normal? Had sharp crampiness which I don't think I've ever had before!

I'm 5 weeks today and expecting my first - snap @megmcc93. 😊 I got my BFP on Saturday and my 3+ weeks on a CB Digital today. It definitely doesn't feel real yet, I'm hoping for some more waves of nausea so it sinks in 😅

I've been counting it as it's been 5 weeks today since I started my last period - I think that's right. I've got a few apps that I've put my due date into and it tells you in weeks and days 😊. I've had some cramping in my back and stomach, same as period pains but they've been coming and going since last Tuesday. Do you have any other symptoms.

@LeopardLover Aww lush, due date buddies 😂😂. I've got nausea already and sore boobs. Do you have any symptoms yet?

@Welliedays I had that at around 3/4 weeks and felt like a pulling sensation as well it feels so weird doesn't it!

Started to really struggle with the nausea although haven't actually been sick I also got my booking appointment and 12 week scan through the post today which is exciting!

How is everyone feeling?

@xxhetty that makes me slightly relieved, I'm about 3/4 weeks so hopefully all is well!

@megmcc93 Oooh, my boobs are fine! I still have mild cramping, now starting to get indigestion 😅 I did feel nauseous early this morning but it didn't last long at all. I'm looking forward to getting through this first trimester. 😊

Hello, thought I would join the thread. I'm four weeks today after getting my bfp during a 'period' it wasn't a period though as no red bleeding and I'm always pretty heavy. I've had 2 miscarriages previous to this pregnancy so I'm really hoping this is the one. I've had a little line progression already and I'm going to take another test on Saturday then I'll probably leave the rest up to fate. I don't feel anything in the way of symptoms apart from being very tired. Hope your all OK.

Stressed!! Got some brown spotting going on and freaking out😫😫

@busybee143 I'm 4 weeks today too although AF is due and I'm stressing she'll arrive.. I had a chemical last month. I'm sure you'll be fine though, it sounds promising. Fingers crossed for Saturday, keep us updated! I'm testing again on Sunday I think!

@sexnotgender how many weeks are you? I'm sure spotting isn't necessarily a bad sign

@tiff94 I'm OK, trying not to stress about AF possibly showing up in the next couple of days (I had a chemical last month and it's still very early days for me!)

@Sexnotgender brown spotting isn't necessarily bad try not to worry, sending you lots of luck

@sexnotgender I think the midwives would probably say not to be concerned if its just brown spotting, but probably suggest you call the EPU who would probably say something similar. They might offer you an early scan if you push them so I'd maybe give the midwives a call.... Peace of mind if nothing else!

Thought I'd jump in! Got my bfp yesterday - no symptoms at all apart from late/missed period meant to start Monday and didn't so still feeling very surreal!! According to online calculator due date 26th April 🥰

@Welliedays it sucks but there's not a lot I can do about it apart from keeping myself fit and healthy

@Sexnotgender make sure you do call the EPU. They will probably get you in for a scan to check, can be no reason at all for spotting this early but better to ask always best to put mind at rest! Thinking of you, I know it is stressful!

I rang EPU Monday and have been in twice since then. Such lovely people.

Thanks @Milliemoo222 I’ve got my booking appointment with midwife tomorrow so will discuss with her. Thankfully spotting seems to have eased.
