Hey ladies!

So I'm a FTM and my little boy was due August 26th..

However he had other plans and decided to come today! So he's actually a July baby!

Was shocked for him to be early as we had a very low risk easy pregnancy so was a surprise!

But baby is healthy and doing well, so happy 😊

Went to triage last night thinking I was having braxton hicks and was told I was 4cm dialited and in labour! It's crazy! So girls if you do experience any type on contraction like symptoms early on, deffo get them checked out!! You might be surprised like me haha

Good luck in all of your upcoming bundles of joy xxx

gemso2020 · 29/07/2020 19:04

Congratulations @kaxxz - hope you are getting a bit of rest!

@watermelonsugar99 How are you feeling? Not long now, hope you are hanging in there :)

Is it strange that I haven't had any Braxton hicks this entire pregnancy? Kept thinking I was having them a while back, but then realised was actually just baby hiccups haha

gemso2020 · 29/07/2020 19:05

Wow, lovely news @MrsHJFL - glad to hear he's healthy and well :)

Oldestchild90s · 29/07/2020 19:08

@MrsHJFL Wow congratulations to you and your family 💙 what a surprise for you all!!

watermelonsugar99 · 29/07/2020 19:35

@MrsHJFL wow congratulations what a lovely surprise!! 💙🥰

@gemso2020 I'm getting there thank you for asking! Although I seen the midwife yesterday who told me she's not hopeful baby will arrive on his own by next Friday so it looks like induction will deffo happen😫

Is it your first pregnancy? I also thought I was getting them but it turns out I wasn't actually until I got a sweep at 37 weeks! Xx

Guys what does labour pains feel like? Like how do you know if it’s time or not? This makes me anxious

sel2223 · 29/07/2020 19:56

@MrsHJFL wow! Congratulations on the birth of your little man

sel2223 · 29/07/2020 19:57

I'm also having a July baby.... i've been diagnosed with preeclampsia unfortunately so ELCS date has been brought forward to Friday when I'll be 38+1.

Another August baby turned July here!

Our little girl was born at 11:35am this morning via Csection- she is currently in the NICU due to some oxygen level problems but was born a VERY healthy 9lb 3oz 😨

Congratulations to all the new mamas!

Camia · 30/07/2020 03:01

Didn't get my weekend baby but wasn't too far off. After over a week of on and off mild contractions they got intense fast Tuesday evening and we headed to the hospital just before midnight to find out I was almost 5cm dilated and in definite labor. Ended up going through 19 hours of unmedicated labor, the last 3 of which were rough and I seriously questioned the unmedicated decision. But all turned out well, baby Westley arrived this afternoon (July 29) at 7lb7oz with a clean bill of health so far. We're making huge progress on figuring out breastfeeding and he already makes the funniest facial expressions. I'm at natural risk for hemorrhaging so we're being kept another 24 hours so they can keep an eye on my bleeding (been okay so far). I have a second degree tear so pretty damn sore but otherwise doing okay. And can barely bring myself to put him down lol

Congratulations to all the other new mamas of the last couple days!

watermelonsugar99 · 30/07/2020 03:14
