@peachypetite I could have written your tweet, the need to pee is constant! @Kj1010 it's the worst before I go to bed for me feel like I'm up about 3-4 times before I actually fall asleep!

Has anyone's exhaustion stuck around? I'm finding with this pregnancy I feel tired so much more easily, needing to rest quite a lot!

Hope everyone is well & has a good week😊

Kj1010 · 27/07/2020 18:12

@Kpm7 I have my scan tomorrow to exciting and nervous at same time to find out all is ok

Kj1010 · 27/07/2020 18:14

@lionsmum yes I'm knackered quite alot can do one bit of tidying and need to rest so much for this energy etc might have a few days here and there lol

peachypetite · 27/07/2020 18:18

@lionsmum yep, I’ll go to bed, then within half an hour I’m back up for another wee. I’m feeling shattered most days, usually up around 5am, even if I go to bed later it doesn’t make a difference.

ChampooPapi · 27/07/2020 19:20

@Kpm7 and @Kj1010 exciting for your scan tomorrow 🙌 it's so nice to see your babies again.

One week until my 24 week one, the anxiety is of course back with a vengeance, but I am feeling more movement now though because there are two I have no idea which baby it is or if it's both 🤷‍♀️.

@lionsmum i am very weakend by this pregnancy, I cannot wait to get my body back and be physically able again, god I will remember this time and try my hardest not to take my health and physicality for granted. I'm already in bed now!

Good luck for scans tomorrow!! So exciting! Mine is Monday, can't wait.

Me and my husband have been having serious 'not finding out the sex' doubts hahaha we were so sure (or at least I was) that we weren't going to! We've both somehow started thinking it might be a boy and I've started thinking I want to know now as I feel like if I don't my imagination will be out of control...like I don't care in the slightest if it is a boy or girl, but I don't want to imagine them wrong if that makes sense?? No idea if I'm just trying to justify my curiosity to myself and if I should resist harder lol

Kpm7 · 27/07/2020 20:14

@Kj1010 good luck. It’s a mixed emotions feeling of excitement and hoping everything is ok. 💕 I get that.

@Hanrora06

I really am thinking the same. Although I know I will be strong 🤞🏼
I have so many reasons why I don’t want to know. Hahah.
I don’t think there is a right or wrong it’s your preference.
My friend said no to finding out then as soon as she was in the scan she cracked. Lol.

I hope I can stay strong.

I love the banter me and the hub have I am always saying she and he’s always saying he.
I think I get more excited for the birth not knowing too!

Good luck for Monday. 🥰

Kj1010 · 27/07/2020 20:32

@Kpm7 good luck to you I'm sure everything will be fine with the babies and gl on not cracking to find out

EithneBlue · 27/07/2020 20:34

Haha! It doesn't really matter if you crack and find out does it? Do you think you'd regret it if you did know now?
I'm definitely glad I didn't ask, though, although it seems to bemuse other people ("Do you know what you're having?" is the most common question I think I've been asked!)

Hanrora06 · 27/07/2020 20:58

@Kpm7 @EithneBlue I think I did have so many reasons for wanting to not know and now they feel less important haha. I suppose we could keep it as a little secret between the two of us as a bit of a compromise... For sure that has been the first question people have asked, even my midwife asked me and did a little cheer when I said I wasn't finding out lol good job I'm moving so if I do crack I don't let her down haha!

I don't think I would regret it...but then again I really didn't want to know before, and now the feelings are changing, so who knows where my feelings will go in time! But yeah, I'll see. I'll write some pros and cons down lol. We decided if I can speak to my hospital and ask if they'd write it down for us, that's the only way I would do it as I would want me and my husband to find out together (if he can't come in, which as of now he still can't). But if they won't do that, which I know some trusts won't, I'll not. Seems the best way to handle it!

peachypetite · 27/07/2020 20:59

@EithneBlue me too but it is so much fun everyone trying to guess. It will be so exciting to find out at the birth.

PipTed · 27/07/2020 21:17

Hey! Good luck tomorrow with the scans people.

Just catching up and I received confirmation of my mat leave last week. I’ll be finishing on 16th Nov for maternity (due date 26th) but, like a lot of you, I have to take my annual leave prior; brining me to an official leave date of 30th October. Just 12 weeks to go and I’m still on furlough! So not sure how much ‘work’ I’ll be getting done in this time!

I have my MAT B and think this is what helped the HR department send written confirmation so efficiently.

Really tired at the moment too! All I want to do is lay on the sofa. Still struggling a bit with sciatica - but feeling the baby kick a lot and husband can feel them kicking each night before we go to sleep, now. So lovely.

Has anyone got any stretch marks? I think I have the start of some, but can’t be sure. I’m putting lotion on twice a day in a desperate attempt to reduce the appearance.

Pinktruffle · 27/07/2020 21:27

I get asked that lots too! I'm now really glad I didnt find out to be honest, though DH has never wavered on not wanting to know.
The only time I wish I knew is when trying to buy baby stuff, unisex is hard to come by and I'm not a huge fan of white, I really dont think its practical for a babies..... so it looks like everything I buy is going to be grey!

Pinktruffle · 27/07/2020 21:31

Sorry, lots of posts between me and @EithneBlue now. I get asked if it's a boy or a girl a lot!

nearlyamummyof2boys · 27/07/2020 22:20

I have another scan tomorrow so hoping that the measurements are ok!
I'm definitely needing to pee all the time!

Good luck to everyone else having scans ❤️

I'm really struggling with names I can't use the ones we have as I feel like they were the twins names. And we just can't decide on any other names not even a shortlist - I know it's something so small but for some reason it feels like bad luck he doesn't have a name as if we are jinxing it.
I think my brain is just going over board about every little thing.
Hoping tomorrow is ok!
X

confused107 · 28/07/2020 07:10

Thinking of you today @nearlyamummyof2boys I hope you get the reassurance you need

Don't worry about the name, you will know when it feels right. There is plenty of time. We don't have a name yet either.

peachypetite · 28/07/2020 07:21

Good luck to the ladies being scanned today.
@Pinktruffle I do know what you mean, but I have found some lovely monochrome sleepsuits (very),
Apples and rainbows (next) and grey and white (next). There are loads more designs I like but out of stock, seems to be a problem everywhere online due to Covid supply issues I assume.

peachypetite · 28/07/2020 07:27

Ooo these are back in stock in smaller sizes in the almond mix, someone on here definitely wanted them before too,

Amyyy1 · 28/07/2020 08:05

Seems to be a lot of people with scans today! Good luck to all of you🥰

PipTed · 28/07/2020 08:15

Good luck @nearlyamummyof2boys For your scan. We haven’t settled on a name yet either. Still another few months to go for us to get our thinking caps on!

Good shout @peachypetite - this baby is going to be better dressed than me!

Snowwhite2020 · 28/07/2020 08:40

Good luck today @nearlyamummyof2boys. I agree with others not to worry about names. You will know exactly who they are when you meet them :) xx

Pinktruffle · 28/07/2020 08:51

@peachypetite everything being out of stock seems to be the main issue! I did manage an M&S order and got these in newborn:
