Line progression - worried 😟

Hello ladies,

I tested positive on 6dp5dt and the line on frer kept getting stronger until 10/11dp5dt. I am now on 13dp5dt and the line hasn’t changed much over the last three days. Also, I would have expected a much stronger line by now? I don’t have many pregnancy symptoms, some nausea that come and go and intermittently sore breasts.

If anyone has any stories that would give me some hope I would be grateful.

This is my second FET and my clinic does not do Betas

Try getting a digital which tells you how many weeks you are. Once the line gets so dark it won't then go darkerm.thwre will be a limit on how dark it actually gets.

I've also had this problem, I'm now 5+1 and only yesterday I got dark lines! I also done a clear blue digital and it still shows 1-2 weeks which it should be showing 2-3 weeks now, so I've no idea what's going on but something isn't right. It's really hard not to stress over lines. I hope yours get darker soon, you are still early!

@Rubyroost thanks for responding. Digital said 1-2 weeks on Saturday just gone. That was my OTD.

@Christie08 nice to hear from someone who is going through the same, even though it could be under nicer circumstances! I wish I could post a picture, my husband thinks today’s line is stronger but I don’t and I am obviously the pro! 😂 I am in two minds about testing again tomorrow, it would break my heart if it’s not darker

Are you still not able to post pictures? Mines only got dark yesterday, before that they just kept staying the same! I just have the clear blue worry but I think I'm going to ignore it for now as it's sending my head away!

@Kaa9985 you will drive yourself nutty if you keep testing. Line looks darker/lighter etc. I've been there I've had 3 losses. If it was me I would try and be patient. Perhaps wait til Sunday/Monday if you got 1-2 weeks on Sat (that's positive as it's more than just pregnant) and then re test with a digital. Alternatively find out if your doctors or hospital will do hcg testing. I had this with my current baby and it was doubling as it should.

I had exactly the same thing with my last FET. By OTD my lines were still quite faint and CB digital said 1-2 weeks. I was sure it was doomed as the progression stayed slow, but I’m 33 weeks now. Just one of those things I guess! Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

@TaVeryMuchLove This is exactly what is happening to me! The line on the test that the clinic provided was SO faint on my OTD but I had a digital saying 1-2. The lines on the frer tests aren't squinters by any means but they are just not progressing in my opinion. I haven't taken one this morning however, I thought I would give it a rest. It's stories like these that makes all the difference so thanks for sharing and all the best for the rest of your pregnancy :)

@Rubyroost I am not able to do a blood test unfortunately but I have an early scan on 17/7 if I make it that far.

I am just so worried and nervous. This is my 5th pregnancy and I have no living children. 3 chemicals and 1 mmc in the past so all of this is driving me to insanity.

@Christie08 do you have a picture you can share? Are you booked in for an early scan? I read somewhere I can share a picture after 48 hours of being a member so maybe tomorrow x

@Kaa9985 this is my test from Sunday! Which is a clear positive but it only got dark on Sunday, 25 miu tests are still coming back not as dark! No I don't have an early scan because I can't even ring my gp until tomorrow as I'm just in the process of moving to a new doctors. When did you last test?

My line progression totally stalled 13-15dpo – no change at all and I was worried but then this morning 16dpo the test line is considerably darker. So hang in there – I guess sometimes it just slows down a bit?

@Christie08 personally, I think that's a great line! Is it from this morning? I tested yesterday and I am scared of testing again now. I need to see a stronger line or progression on a digital.

Maybe pay for a private scan? It might put your mind at rest and you can have one as early as 6 weeks so you're not far off x

@Kaa9985 yes it is a perfect line but the other less sensitive tests are still not as dark as I would have hoped! This was on Sunday morning so I was 5 weeks. Digital still said 1-2 weeks on Sunday morning so that's what's worrying me just! Yes I'm going to see if my new doctor will refer me first to epu as I've had spotting too and if not then I will book a private scan.

I am going to try to relax a little bit, but it is so hard :( I know it might be far fetched but all of these tests that I keep testing 'the same' on are from amazon and came bundled up in plastic? 2 boxes of 2 in the same package and they were very good value! £13 for 4 tests! Maaaaybe they are counterfeit somehow? Or tell me if I am going crazy and grabbing straws here...

These were mine - 1 being the first I took. They progressed as you can see but then 4 and 5 were identical to 3. I stopped at that point. Now 25 weeks in.

@Christie08 can you call your EPU directly? I have been able to in the past. Are you still spotting?

Here we can't until you are 6 weeks, so still can't call yet! With my DS I had spotting at this stage also, but was slightly worse with him and all was OK so I'm hoping it's just from implantation. The worry eh! 😏

My test lines went up and down in strength and they were never ever as dark as the control line, ever. Now 25 weeks so I am definitely preggo!

Still don't have many/strong symptoms yet. But I guess it's still really early at 4+5 w pregnant?

I didn't really get many pregnancy symptoms until the baby moved! Bit tired, felt a bit sick etc but nothing I couldn't have brushed off as something else.
