Currently 37+5 with my first baby. She's due on the 20th :) How's everyone feeling?

I'm suffering a lot with SPD and crazy pelvic pressure, along with bump pain and awful heartburn.

@2020firsttimemum thanks so much, that is really reassuring. I will let you know how I get on, how long did they keep you in for? Hope you are enjoying time with your gorgeous new born x

@Missdrifter you'll be fine! I honestly didn't even feel them cut me open at all and the time from the knife touching me to the placenta being out was 8 minutes!

They only kept me in for a day - I think if you've got no issues they try and get you out as quickly as possible. Just make sure if you have a catheter in that you drink loads when they take it out to make sure you can pee or they won't let you out!

@Missdrifter good luck for your section today. I had mine on Friday and had a beautiful little boy. Please don't be nervous it was the most amazing experience of my life and I wish I could do it all over again.

The recovery is really sore so make sure you keep on top of your medication and don't be afraid to ask for help lifting your baby!

I'm 38+6 today, I went for a growth scan on Monday, all is well, they found a little protein in my wee but everything else was fine... they have booked me in for a sweep on my due date 23/7 but I would much prefer her to come before.
