Am 36+3, really hoping she arrives a little early!

Mine was 3days over (dc2 coincidentally 3days under)

It must be a right pain in the arse being heavily pregnant in this weather but honestly, the longer they stay in the better (til 40wks obvs)

Aria2015 · 25/06/2020 14:09

My first came a week early. No signs before hand. Waters just suddenly broke.

thetangleteaser · 25/06/2020 14:10

40+10 and was so worth the wait😌 Just assume the baby will be overdue and then anything earlier is a bonus!

TheGriffle · 25/06/2020 14:10

11 days after her due date and 2 days before I was booked in to get her evicted.

Temple29 · 25/06/2020 14:12

37+6 but I was induced

boymum9 · 25/06/2020 14:12

Both were a week early!

F1rstt1imer · 25/06/2020 14:14

Two days early here!

Cardboard33 · 25/06/2020 14:15

36+6. Relatively fast overnight labour, at hospital for 2 hours before birth, job done. I'd take that again for sure. You're going to get a variety of responses and I don't see how it can be helpful as baby will come when baby is ready.

They're classed as full term from 37+0 and given you're already at 36 weeks then it can come at any time really and all should be fine.

Serendipper · 25/06/2020 14:20

14 days overdue, they tried to send me home as I wasn’t dilated enough but as my induction was book for half an hour later I convinced them to let me stay. Didn’t need the induction in the end and he was well worth the wait! I’m expecting number 2 now and I’m not expecting this one to come any earlier. I’m counting down to 2 weeks overdue as I found it so stressful waiting for baby!

Sasaz · 25/06/2020 14:24

2 days before due date. I had no idea and was preparing myself to be overdue

JadLi · 25/06/2020 14:45

I thought mine would come early... but nope, he arrived 41+6 😩

I finished work 2 weeks before due date so I ended up sat at home for 4 weeks just waiting for something to happen. It was the longest 4 weeks of my life!

Wolfgirrl · 25/06/2020 14:47

36 weeks. I know it is tempting to wish it away, DD was fine but had quite bad jaundice due to her early birth. Looking back I would've liked those final few weeks to get really huge and impatient!

Baby will be here before you know it ❤

UnicornAndSparkles · 25/06/2020 14:50

Waters broke at 38+6 and she arrived at 39 weeks. Good luck OP. I was pregnant in sweltering heat too and it was hell!

Coolcatsandkittens · 25/06/2020 14:53

Due date for my first!

elliejjtiny · 25/06/2020 14:54

11 days late. I've had 5 dc born between 35+3 and 41+4. If I could choose when baby came I would choose 11 days late every time. My 35+3 baby and my 36+6 baby were both in nicu and have long term health problems as a result of being early.

Pebblexox · 25/06/2020 15:00

My waters broke at 36*2, I gave birth via caesarean at 36+4
From my own experience, I would have rather she came nearer her due date. I know it's not ideal to be heavily pregnant right now with the weather and stuff, but them coming early can cause all kinds of issues. Just try and hang in there, they'll come when they're ready.

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 25/06/2020 15:02

1st 41+5
2nd 41+3
On the third and I hope to god it comes earlier.

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 25/06/2020 15:10

On his due date

porridgeface · 25/06/2020 15:30

Induced at 41+1. It was the middle of a heatwave too so i really feel for you

florababy84 · 25/06/2020 15:41

Around 40+3.

IndieRo · 25/06/2020 15:45

12 days after due date. I was brought in 10 days after due date for induction. Didn't work. I didn't progress even with the meds, ended up needing an emergency c section as my DDs daughters heartbeat was dropping. She was born with cord around neck and 10lbs 14ozs. The master of the hospital came around and said I would have never delivered her naturally but had to let me try because it was my 1st!!!!

Monkeyseesmonkeydoesnt · 25/06/2020 17:59

4 days early precipitated by a lot of heavy diy (for a pregnant lady) Wallpapering, hanging curtains, painting, and laying carpet 😀

Kodiak83 · 26/06/2020 21:21

42 weeks both times. Labour started around 40+10/11 with each and both were ultimately EMCS

Darkstar4855 · 26/06/2020 21:23

Waters broke at 39+1, born the following morning.

Xyzzzzz · 26/06/2020 21:25

39 weeks but I was induced
