When did your first baby arrive?

Am 36+3, really hoping she arrives a little early!

40+4

Waters broke late night at 38+6, she arrived early hours of 39 weeks exactly! I was so surprised as I thought first babies were always late!!

Good luck OP. I went overdue with DC3 and I was so impatient!!

Waters broke at 38+5 - 2 days before my scheduled c-section!

40+8

10 days late. Due date was 23rd July, I had my second stretch and sweep and the midwife said we will have a July baby.
She decided to be awkward and arrived less than two hours into august.

36+5. No warning signs, waters just broke and labour started. As pp have said I know it’s hard but just try and appreciate the last couple of weeks and getting everything ready - it’s really stressful having them suddenly arrive when you haven’t got stuff ready yet! Plus if they’re less than 37 weeks you have to go to labour ward (as opposed to midwife led etc if that is your plan), sometimes run a few extra tests after they are born, maybe antibiotics for the baby etc which means a canula, find tiny baby clothes (my dd was 5lb)... don’t mean to be a downer I know it feels like you’ve waited forever by now but a few more weeks is for the best

2nd - 39&6
3rd - 39&5

9 days over!
I had convinced myself I would be early too as mum had 4 kids all 3 weeks early then both my sisters had theirs early.
Longest 9 days of my life 😂 to top it off in the middle of the 2018 heatwave

1st baby - 38+5 spontaneous labour
2nd baby 40+1 so felt really overdue!

32 weeks but then most of mine have been early. I had a baby 3 weeks ago at 37 weeks 2 days and he spent 5 days on neonatal. As close to 40 weeks is always better
