@kkr168 I didn't brave the sale but did go on Monday as was panicking there wasn't a lot of 0-3 baby clothes online! I bought loads but feel better now I know the baby has a few outfits to wear 😂.

They're beautiful @kkr168 trust me you can never have enough clothes they generally need a change at least twice a day 😂
I'm also struggling with people asking what they can get for us I always feel cheeky to ask for a lot - and I'm really fussy lol!

You'll find there is always way more girlie stuff as well it's a lot harder to buy for boys especially in bigger shops x

Hope you're feeling better today @Babyhope98

1 week till I have another NHS scan - but we were planing to have a private one in Liverpool as we will have childcare, but it will be the day before my NHS one. Do you think it's excessive to do both I would love my OH to see my scan?

nearlyamummyof2boys · 02/07/2020 12:51

Gorgeous @NaomiB79 I love babygros with animals on them 😍😍

chubbyhotchoc · 02/07/2020 12:52

@kkr168 @NaomiB79 great hauls. I really need to get stuff. I really begrudge paying full price though

kkr168 · 02/07/2020 12:58

You cant beat the next sales, as long as the clothes are well looked after they sell really well after too.

@nearlyamummyof2boys Seeing as our partners aren't allowed to attend the nhs scans, go for it, why should they miss out?
I've booked a 4d scan for when I'm 25 weeks (although I may push it back further) it will be the 1st time DH will have seen the baby.

Snowwhite2020 · 02/07/2020 14:04

Oh my goodness ladies! So many baby clothes! I need to get purchasing... ! Xx

RestorationInsanity · 02/07/2020 14:17

So nice to see what you're all buying.

I don't know when my brain is going to let me accept that there will be a baby at the end of this! I want to embrace it, and I'm embracing the baby inside me in the here and now, but just can't believe I'm ever going to get to meet him or her, or that it will need clothes, or a cot, or a car seat or anything. I'm so excited but seem to just come up short of thinking it will ever get beyond me being pregnant!

Hanrora06 · 02/07/2020 14:42

@RestorationInsanity I know exactly what you mean. This is my first pregnancy and it all feels so surreal still! I'm definitely putting off buying things for a while yet....I mean to be fair that's because we live in a TINY flat and we neeed to move before the baby is due (October at the latest) but also because it feels still too strange to do!

I just cannot figure out if I can feel the baby or not either!! I can't tell if it's just like my stomach moving or gurgling or what. It does feel odd though. Kind of like a gentle flicking or popping, like a gentle elastic band. Wishful thinking??? The midwife rang the other day for my 16 week check up and asked if I'd felt anything and I was just like I have no idea tbh, what does it feel like??

Hanrora06 · 02/07/2020 14:43

Oh, and also- would anyone mind letting me know a ballpark figure of a private scan? I get it might vary but I am curious if it would get to the point when its justified. I feel awful that my husband can't come to the 20 week scan. It must feel less real for him than it does for me. But then if it's out of our budget that's fair enough.

Kj1010 · 02/07/2020 14:54

@Hanrora06 mine was 59.00 for a well being+genderscan which I'm having on monday they do range in price depending on what you want in going to window through the womb as find them brilliant

Pinktruffle · 02/07/2020 15:08

Mine was £59.99 too, also Window to the Womb

Teaandbiscuits123 · 02/07/2020 15:16

Another vote for Window to the Womb. There is actually a groupon deal for them at the minute and if you use the code JULYSALE on groupon you get an extra 20% off too ☺️

chubbyhotchoc · 02/07/2020 15:29

@Hanrora06 sometimes it does feel like popping or twanging. Other times like a definite poke.

Hanrora06 · 02/07/2020 15:32

@Kj1010 @Pinktruffle Thank you for your responses, oh wow that's a lot less than I thought!! We're not bothered about finding out the sex, we want a surprise (this week at least that's what we want haha), but I would like my husband just to be able to see the baby and I know he would love that. I'll investigate further then in my local area and see what I can find out.

Hanrora06 · 02/07/2020 15:33

and I also keep forgetting if I type 'o h' it keeps thinking I mean 'other half' lol

Hanrora06 · 02/07/2020 15:35

@Teaandbiscuits123 ooh thanks for that! Love a Groupon voucher haha

yeah @chubbyhotchoc yes I'm increasingly sure it's that! It started feeling like little tiny waves and flutters as well just before. v exciting!!

RestorationInsanity · 02/07/2020 15:39

@Hanrora06 yes sometimes I get what feels like little lurches, other times like I'm being flicked, but from the inside!

Babyhope98 · 02/07/2020 15:49

I am good thanks @nearlyamummyof2boys I went and had a scan after my doctor referred me and saw she was ok so I am feeling relieved.

Is everyone else buying 3-6 months if they see it on sale I am in next and some nice things left don’t know if it is bad to by 3-6 months too?

Amyyy1 · 02/07/2020 15:58

@Babyhope98 My family have been buying me 3-6 and 6-9 months if it's in the sale. I'm getting some storage boxes to put under my bed to keep everything organised size wise so we don't lose track of what we already have enough of!

kkr168 · 02/07/2020 16:23

@Babyhope98 I picked up some 3-6 months bits

@Hanrora06 my private scan was £59 & was also with window to the womb. The 4d scan is with them too, its on special offer of £135 down to £79.

If you select your area it will show which offers are available windowtothewomb.co.uk/special-offers/

chubbyhotchoc · 02/07/2020 16:35

I've bought older things. You'll be surprised how quick things come around. I couldn't get any small stuff in the next sale but bought quite a bit for next spring/ summer. If something bad happens it's not because you've bought some baby clothes. I don't think you can keep second guessing yourself.

confused107 · 02/07/2020 17:12

Hi @Hanrora06 we have a 'meet your miracle' close to us. The scans are £49 there

excitednerves · 02/07/2020 18:00

Exciting! I’m loving all the baby clothes! I have my 20 week scan in 2 weeks so waiting to find out the sex before we buy! Also trying not to buy too much before we move, and before I’ve gone through all of DS’s stuff. A few new sleepsuits and vests will prob be enough in reality.

We’re almost at the halfway point!

peachypetite · 02/07/2020 18:05

Haven’t bought anything yet but keep reminding myself that clothes wise, it’s going to be middle of winter when the baby arrives so all these cute fruity summer rompers probably won’t be appropriate Grin
