I had very light pink spotting around 7/8 weeks a couple times and everything was perfectly fine but I panicked!

What’s happening OP?

Puppybum · 15/06/2020 22:12

I had a lot of brown blood

Prettylittlelady · 15/06/2020 22:12

I spotted at 7 weeks and a scan at the EPU showed all was fine. X

albiemum · 15/06/2020 22:15

Ive previously had 3 miscarriages. I'm just over 6 weeks and I've noticed pink spotting when I wipe, I did a clear blue the other day and panicked as it said 2-3 and not 3+ where I should be at. Thinking this could be miscarriage number 4😢 xxx

Teacaketotty · 15/06/2020 22:17

So sorry to hear that OP, can you go to the EPU?

Unfortunately I think only time will tell but there’s hope, the digital week calculator never went above 1+ for me!

albiemum · 15/06/2020 22:23

@Teacaketotty I've got an appointment at 3.30 tomorrow, trying to hold on to any bit of hope😫 xxxx

Ceara · 15/06/2020 22:31

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Good luck tomorrow.
If hopeful stories help, I also started pink spotting in week 6, a few days before my scheduled early scan at the IVF clinic and I had a small bleed as I arrived for the scan; but there was a heartbeat, and although I spotted and bled my way through the first trimester and into the second due to a subchorionic haematoma, my baby arrived safely at term. Fingers crossed for you.

Teacaketotty · 15/06/2020 22:34

Hope all goes okay tomorrow then OP, do let us know how you get on. As you’ve seen it’s a common time to get spotting so be hopeful and try get some rest x

stophuggingme · 15/06/2020 22:35

I had a bit of spotting for a day or two then a horrible bleed at 8 weeks pregnant. I was convinced I had miscarried.
He’s six years old now.

Wishing you all the best for tomorrow OP x

albiemum · 15/06/2020 22:43

Thanks so much everyone for sharing. I hope so much this time the outcome is going to be different. I can't shut off tonight at all 😫. I will keep you all posted how I get on tomorrow xxxx

Do let us know how it goes. Hoping for a positive outcome for you. In a similar position here - 7 weeks today, but had 2 instances of spotting when I wiped last week. Was convinced MC #3 was on its way, but nothing yet... but also feel like my confidence in this pregnancy has evaporated. I just wish it was normal to get early scans if you've had 2 miscarriages here. Fingers crossed for you @albiemum! X

albiemum · 16/06/2020 06:37

Bit of an update, bleeding a little more this morning so I really do think it's coming 😢 so sad.
@Mitchland how's things with you this morning ? Xxx

Dragonfly80 · 16/06/2020 07:19

Hope you’re ok OP and today goes well for you. I had some spotting in my first pregnancy which sadly did turn out to be an early miscarriage. I then had spotting and bleeding at 6 weeks in my second pregnancy and was convinced it was going to be the same story. We went for a scan and he was absolutely fine (and is now 2 and a half). I really hope today goes well for you, good luck Flowers

Mitchland · 16/06/2020 09:18

Sorry to hear that @albiemum - hope your appointment clarifies what's happening for you. Hoping for a positive outcome for you. I've not had any further bleeding this past few days, but really don't have any pregnancy symptoms. They didn't really get going, but I feel even less pregnant... Such a bizarre time - this no man's land before any appointments and scans and wondering what's reasonable to call the EPU about. So its reassuring to hear you called and are seeing someone. Wishing you lots of luck!

Bettysoreboobs · 16/06/2020 14:37

Wishing you both good luck. I’m exactly the same, had brown spotting for 3 days. I’m 6+6 and I just feel in limbo. I’ve booked an early scan for 6pm so I’ll let you know how I go. Trying to prepare for both outcomes x

albiemum · 16/06/2020 17:22

Hey everyone. I'm bleeding quite heavy, just had a scan and I have to go back on Thursday to check my hormone levels. She saw something, she said it's either ectopic, blood clot, or a pregnancy. I'm so confused I was just expecting to go hear the bad news nothings left and leave. I'm still thinking it's a bad outcome but I will keep you all posted when I next go. How are you both getting on? Xxxxx

OP posts:
stophuggingme · 16/06/2020 20:23

So sorry you are in this awful limbo
I know you can’t switch off but do try and rest and stay calm

Thinking of you and I hope that the bleeding isn’t a miscarriage or that an ectopic but nothing to do with the baby and they are ok

Sending love Flowers

Teacaketotty · 16/06/2020 22:29

Urgh the unknown is horrible OP, how are you feeling this evening? x

Bettysoreboobs · 16/06/2020 23:24

I really feel for you @albiemum. Not knowing is horrible. I hope you get some definitive (hopefully good) news on Thursday. Wishing tomorrow goes quickly for you.
My scan was all good, baby is the right size and has a heartbeat. I’m still spotting but less worried x

albiemum · 17/06/2020 11:17

@Mitchland aww amazing thats fab news !

I was okay yesterday evening I started to have a tiny bit of hope! but starting to lose clots this morning so I'm pretty sure it over now xxxx

OP posts:
Mitchland · 17/06/2020 11:26

Stay strong @albiemum - easier said than done, I know. Sorry to hear you're still deep in the unknown. Look after yourself - and do whatever you need to to be comfortable. Thinking of you X XX

Teacaketotty · 19/06/2020 15:24

How are things OP? Xx

albiemum · 20/06/2020 11:03

Hi everyone. Sorry I've not been on my phone just taken time out, it did turn out to be yet another miscarriage. Does anyone have any advice where to go from here? Xxxx

OP posts:
Teacaketotty · 20/06/2020 11:07

OP I’m so sorry, I was worried for you since we didn’t hear anything.

I don’t have any experience of this so no advice and I can’t imagine how you feel but always here if you want to vent. Have they any idea what may be causing your miscarriages? I’m really hoping you get some answers xx

albiemum · 20/06/2020 11:12

They haven't said a thing. I'm under a gynaecologist and I didn't find anything there, everything on hold now due to covid. I just really don't know where to take it from here 😔 Thankyou so much that's so lovely xxxxxx
