Hi all,
I’m currently 37 + 5 and starting to think about the next few weeks and when labour will come. In my understanding most first time mums go past their due date. Just wondering -when did you go into labour with your first baby? Thanks all.

41+3 I was due to be induced at 41+5. She was over 11lb Hmm and I was miserable.

JustaScratch · 30/05/2020 07:45

40+10. About 12.30 in the afternoon.

LifeBeginsNow · 30/05/2020 07:48

40 + 6 and he was born into the pool within 2 hours from the start of labour (I was 9cm by the time I arrived at hospital).

Phoebeboo · 30/05/2020 07:54

36+2 waters broke on way home from work. Hoping to make it to maternity leave this time!

YakkityYakYakYak · 30/05/2020 08:16

My waters broke at 41 weeks but labour didn’t start so I was induced the next day

Epigram · 30/05/2020 08:18

7 days past due date for me (baby born 8 days past)

Spottybluepyjamas · 30/05/2020 08:20

Waters broke at 35+6 - healthy but small baby boy Smile

Scubalubs87 · 30/05/2020 09:03

39+3 but things kicked off when I was 39+ 2. 24 hours from first signs - a show - to being born. Very quick second stage. In my circle of friends, more of us have delivered ours firsts early rather than late so I wouldn’t bank on baby being late.

I was told in my NHS birthing class that first time mums on average go 10 days past their due date . Both my sisters and my mum went well past their due dates so I figured I would be the exact same . At 37+1 my waters suddenly broke .

daisypond · 30/05/2020 09:30

On my due date

SquigglyOne · 30/05/2020 09:33

Had to be induced at 40+12 😒 the last few weeks of pregnancy are so rough!

diddlediddle · 30/05/2020 09:39

Sorry to tell you op but these threads are pointless because you will get every kind of answer and none of them will have any bearing whatsoever on what will happen to you!

Good luck!

MashedSpud · 30/05/2020 09:42
