Hey everyone!!! I know I’m super early as I’m 12dpo but I’ve finally had my “pregnant” on clear blue digital and I’m over the moon. I’ve been trying to tell myself not to get tooo excited as I had a chemical pregnancy in March but, too late haha. I’m so excited and happy! May as well be positive about it..

Anyone else just found out they’re pregnant and due in February 2021? The NHS due date calculator puts at the 3rd February. What’s your symptoms been so far ?

Xx

@BabyonBoard2021 we are thinking on DHs birthday. We will be well passed 12 weeks by then.

Is anyone else struggling to sleep since finding out? I sleep on my tummy and trying so hard not to now bu my really struggling with sleep. Roughly 4 hours each night the past 2 nights. Already ordered a pregnancy pillow to see if that helps. Xxx

Rosebelle29 · 19/06/2020 10:17

We have already told close family and 3 of my best friends. I can’t keep it in tbh!

RubyFrench91 · 19/06/2020 10:22

@Peach1204 sleeping on your tummy is absolutely fine until you are physically too big to do so! I think it’s about 16 weeks you are no longer supposed to lie flat on your back due to blood flow, I was definitely still lying on my tummy at that point as there will be a time you can only sleep on your side which I hated! Enjoy whilst you can lol

JemimaFuddleFuck · 19/06/2020 10:23

@Rosebelle29 twins would be delightful.... BUT Grin I really would like just the one!

@Peach1204 at this stage I would try sleeping on your side, but if you end up on your front it’s not the end of the world. They are so cushioned in there at the moment, but it will be better for you if you get used to sleeping on your side now, because in about 20 weeks it will be impossible! I sleep on my back, with my knees up, so my feet are flat on the bed and I got myself in such a tizz about it when pregnant with DD, it really didn’t help my mental health.

Patiently waiting for @Sunshine1984 to tell us how her DP reacted to the news!

Sunshine1984 · 19/06/2020 10:24

I thought you could still sleep on your front during the first trimester? Is that not right? Can’t believe how much I’ve forgotten!

I have a very shocked but very happy husband this morning! He had to read the card a couple of times to realise what it was! 😂 I think he’s more surprised this time around - I guess as he really wasn’t expecting it on his birthday! He’s already said we won’t find out gender so I’m pleased about that!

JemimaFuddleFuck · 19/06/2020 10:25

Oh and @RubyFrench91 fingers crossed it is just from the, ahem ahem, pounding Wink

TammyB87 · 19/06/2020 10:27

@JemimaFuddleFuck thanks for the add. I’m actually 33 but more than happy for years to be knocked off when possible Wink

Is/was anyone else still cramping a fair bit at 5 weeks? It’s not unbearable but I started worrying yesterday.

RubyFrench91 · 19/06/2020 10:32

@JemimaFuddleFuck haha thank you, it reminds me of the first post birth wee so painful Blush hoping that’s all that it is!

@Sunshine1984 awww so pleased for you! Bet you’re relieved last night. My partner started grilling me last night (in his beer fuelled state) that I was late, and that I’d told him I should be on my period by now etc etc etc and was like “have you got something to tell me” “I don’t believe you” so he sooooo knows but will have to wait until Sunday to be officially told hahahaa I am so stubborn

OkyDoke · 19/06/2020 10:34

Hello everyone, I got a bfp this morning I think but not very strong and I'm worrying now! If it sticks, i'll be due 24th Feb I think.

BeanieBabyLovex · 19/06/2020 10:36

@OkyDoke positive is positive babe! You may just be very early! Lots of sticky baby glue your way and congrats xxxx

@TammyB87 sorry! Have aged you. This is why I shouldn’t try and do things in the morning Confused cramps totally normal at this stage. Unless accompanied by blood or they become unbearable, I wouldn’t worry too much.

@Sunshine1984 aww lovely! I’m glad it went well.

@RubyFrench91, Oh my god. I would have killed him. You’ve done so well keeping it to yourself.

Someone mentioned earlier about starting a what’s app or Facebook group, now I’m not on Facebook but would be happy to join a what’s app group if people were interested. Would have to google how to do it like Confused

OkyDoke · 19/06/2020 10:52

I love my Facebook baby group for my first son, I'd really recommend.
This was my test this morning @BeanieBabyLovex.

FEBRUARY 2021 DUE DATE
OkyDoke · 19/06/2020 10:55

I can't even see it now.

Sunshine1984 · 19/06/2020 11:00

Haha @RubyFrench91 Hopefully he’ll forget today! Only 2 days to go.

@OkyDoke - it’s still such early days. Normal for line to not be strong x

Peach1204 · 19/06/2020 11:02

@JemimaFuddleFuck @RubyFrench91 thank god for that! Thought I'd be sleeping on our 2 seater sofa for the next 8 months! 😂 xxx

Sunshine1984 · 19/06/2020 11:03

@JemimaFuddleFuck Would you consider setting up a secret Facebook profile just to use for the baby group? Your friends/family don’t need to know or be on it? My friend who isn’t on fb did that so she could be in my hen party group as fb was everybody’s preference. WhatsApp can be hard to keep up with and you can’t have separate threads etc. Just a thought?

If so, I’d be happy to set up a secret & private Facebook group for us all. Easier to keep up with than mn too - let me know 😊

bluebubbles12 · 19/06/2020 11:03

@JemimaFuddleFuck sorry I forgot to tag you in my previous post, but could I please be added to the list?

NHS website due date 24/02/2021, I'm 31 and this will be my first baby 🤞

MrsB25 · 19/06/2020 11:12

@Sunshine1984 how lovely I bet DH was over the moon!

@BabyonBoard2021 I haven’t booked it yet but think I will try and have it around 7-8 weeks to hopefully see a heartbeat! Still feels forever away! I turn 30 next week and we are hoping for a garden party at my parents house with some family. It will be mega obvious if I don’t drink so I think we will tell my mum and dad then they can mix me fake alcoholic drinks for the day! Then tell DH’s parents the following day. Think we will wait until after a scan to tell anyone else. So probably similar time to you if you’re waiting until after your 8 week scan too! So excited to tell everyone.

BabyonBoard2021 · 19/06/2020 11:20

@mrsb25
Yeah it will be 8 weeks I think, trying to get an appointment for 12th July as it’s my OH’s 30th birthday so he can have it as a present 😂. Yeah that’s fair enough. Happy birthday for next week!

runnerttc · 19/06/2020 11:53

I would also second a private Facebook group if people are keen. I think WhatsApp would be a bit nuts as it would be so hard to keep track of conversation. On Facebook we could post helpful links for each other and stuff as well Smile

BeanieBabyLovex · 19/06/2020 12:14

I'd love to be in a FB group I'm in one atm but there's no such thing as too many!

Can I be added to the list by the way I'm 5 weeks tomorrow and due on 20/02/2021 1st baby and I'm 27 x

RubyFrench91 · 19/06/2020 12:28

@OkyDoke there’s absolutely a line on that test so think positive!

Sunshine1984 · 19/06/2020 12:29

There was someone in the baby group I had with DD1 who had a profile just purely for the group - she used a random profile picture & name too so nobody from rl could find her. Also the group would be set to private so nobody could ever see it / know it exists - only if you’re personally invited x

Sunshine1984 · 19/06/2020 12:32

@OkyDoke The first test I did was negative, then Monday’s I could barely see the line. Thought I might have been deceiving myself. 5 days later it’s much clearer. A line is a line. That’s a BFP :)

OkyDoke · 19/06/2020 12:44

Thanks @sunshine1984 and @RubyFrench91 I have ordered some clearblue which should come tomorrow and hopefully will give me a clear answer!
