Hey everyone!!! I know I’m super early as I’m 12dpo but I’ve finally had my “pregnant” on clear blue digital and I’m over the moon. I’ve been trying to tell myself not to get tooo excited as I had a chemical pregnancy in March but, too late haha. I’m so excited and happy! May as well be positive about it..

Anyone else just found out they’re pregnant and due in February 2021? The NHS due date calculator puts at the 3rd February. What’s your symptoms been so far ?

Xx

@Stephanie3110 yes it's my first. I'm so excited and feeling really positive everything is going to go well but it's just that little niggle that I think a scan would

sshl · 12/06/2020 08:22

@Stephanie3110 opppss posted to quick.

I think a scan would help stop that worry. I dunno I'm cross between just let it be & I just wanna know all is good. 🤔

How many weeks will you be when you have the scan?

RubyFrench91 · 12/06/2020 08:35

@JemimaFuddleFuck I know, I had a chance to when I burst into tears for no reason and he asked if everything was okay, then asked when I was due my period but I fobbed him off 😂 if it wasn’t for Father’s Day this month I would just tell him! On money it will be 2 weeks since I found out myself, and then I’ve still got another 6 days to go!

@Stephanie3110 thank you so much! I will definitely book in there once I’ve told him then!
And @sshl nice you are both nearby! I live near Stourbridge but work in Birmingham ☺️

sshl · 12/06/2020 08:41

@RubyFrench91 nice. I've only lived here a year and half. It's nice to have some people local to me to talk about things local to me 😊

ktl1a · 12/06/2020 08:45

@Vie8126 that's great, congratulations to all 3 of us! Hope everything's going well for you both so far! :)

woollisox · 12/06/2020 09:27

RubyFrench91 · 12/06/2020 11:07

@woollisox brill thank you, I have heard of that one. Is your partner allowed? I used peek a baby in Quinton last time

PharmaMumTo2 · 12/06/2020 11:08

Hi everyone.
Got a BFP last Tuesday. Was a bit unexpected as I had just stopped my pill due to AFs being all over the place. Was really grumpy and dizzy at work on the Tuesday and I just knew. So grabbed a test on way home and very clear line. Clear Blue showed 2-3 weeks then showed 3+ on Saturday. Going from that I guess I’m due 2nd Feb 21. Should have know as I got pregnant on first cycle with my other children (2 girls aged 4 and 21months). My hubby jokes that he just has to hang his trousers on the end of our bed and I’m preggers 🙈. Feel seriously lucky though and over the moon as I want a large family. Won’t see anyone until 12/13 weeks as I’m over in Northern Ireland but I’m ok with that as both other pregnancies have been without complications.

Bettysoreboobs · 12/06/2020 13:47

Hey, I haven’t been on for a while because I started feeling anxious that I wasn’t having symptoms that other people were so I decided to plug out for a bit. But I need to know has anyone else lost weight with their pregnancy? I’ve lost 5lbs since I conceived, haven’t been this weight since I was in my early 20’s. Don’t know whether to feel glad or worried??

Orangepeel105 · 12/06/2020 13:57

@ktl1a

Hi ladies! Can i join please? Congratulations to all of the feb due dates so far :) EDD 19th Feb (I'm 4 weeks today which I know is super early). I had a MMC in January (first pregnancy/baby and 30 years old). It's been a hard few months but so so happy to have my positive!

I'm feeling a bit anxious after everything that happened last time but trying to stay positive, it doesn't help that I'm stuck indoors on my own most of the time!

I've been experiencing a lot of period like cramps over the last few days, whereas last time I didn't get them until about 4.5 weeks. I guess my body is just adjusting... Has anyone else been getting similar?

Very excited to be experiencing this journey with you all!

@ktl1a Hey! We have the same EDD, I'm also just four weeks with my first :) I had a chemical pregnancy last year so I've been feeling really cautious too, but getting lots of strong positives so hopefully have avoided that. There is just so much to try to not feel anxious about!

I have been getting mild period-like cramps for about a week now on and off, from what I've read that is very normal and a good sign of implantation and your womb starting to stretch out, as long as there's no bleeding. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to stay in touch and chat :)

IamC · 12/06/2020 14:02

@Bettysoreboobs I lost 4lbs before I got my positive, think it had something to do with giving up drinking when TTC. Been a little over a week since we got the good news and I've lost another 1lb since then, but I am eating ridiculously healthily. I'm actually forcing myself to have snacks when not hungry to boost my calorie intake - it's surprisingly hard to hit the recommended daily amount when your eating loadsa veggies!

lydiangel83 · 12/06/2020 14:50

Any runners out there? I am ballooning in weight due to constantly eating to avoid sickness, managed to get out for 5km a couple of times in last few weeks but really queasy each time. Anyone else!?

sshl · 12/06/2020 14:57

@lydiangel83 me! I run with my dog (Cani cross so she is strapped to me around my waist) I've only recently started it but I'm too scared to go out with her and do it. They say it's ok but I just feel super nervous. Like you I have a fair bit of nausea too so it's not an exciting prospect but also like you I can feel the weight/bloat already.

I have kept doing yoga but that's it's so far and even that I'm a bit nervous of doing the wrong thing.

Hoping once I'm a bit further along I won't feel so worried and will be able to enjoy exercise a bit more xx

lydiangel83 · 12/06/2020 15:48

@sshl good to hear! I remember not running in first pregnancy but did spinning and x trainer and lots of gentle swimming which helped my back. I will do pre natal yoga and Pilates too when a bit bigger but carry on with normal classes until then as know not to do too many ab moves etc. I went from 65kg to 87kg last time, and my baby was 3.2kg! Lol

sshl · 12/06/2020 15:51

@lydiangel83 I really wish I could go swimming that would be so nice. Hopefully I'll be able to at some point in the pregnancy, I imagine later on it must be nice.

I'm still trying to work out what's ok to do and what's not. There's so many mixed ideas in things. Just going to go with how I feel I think that's probably best.

Hope to get out running soon

EmBrum · 12/06/2020 21:15

Evening mamas! Tentatively saying my first hello to you all having followed along for a bit. Been lovely to follow and congratulations!

I had a miscarriage in November last year and was utterly devastated and so tough leaving a group like this behind. But fingers crossed for this time!

BFP a couple of weeks ago and now about 5.5 weeks I think. Shorter cycle since my miscarriage with early ovulation so not sure on dates but possibly EDD 8.2.2021 .

This would be my first child and I'm 31. I'm absolutely exhausted and having an afternoon nap! Bit of loss of appetite and nausea but making myself eat something helps. Crazy sore boobs and some mild cramps too. Very happy to have more symptoms than last time but equally ladies without symptoms please try not to worry - I have friends who have had very healthy pregnancies with no major symptoms.

Big hugs and have a good weekend x

Rainbow5SF · 12/06/2020 22:00

After 22 months of ttc and ivf we've got a BFP from a natural cycle!!

Terrified as my son was born prematurely just before that and died.

I've done a million tests and today for a 2-3weeks in clearblue!

I'm older so long way to go yet but figured this one deserves to be celebrated just the same.

Congrats to everyone 😊

Connelloni · 12/06/2020 22:02

Evening everyone! I found out today I’m pregnant with DC3, Edd is 12th Feb I think. Congrats to all of you, hope you’re all doing well.

Stephanie3110 · 12/06/2020 22:12

Congrats @Connelloni @Rainbow5SF and @EmBrum 💕💙💕💙🥳

Stephanie3110 · 12/06/2020 22:15

@sshl I'll be around 6 and a half weeks when I have my scan 🤞🏼 will defo let u know 😊

Stephanie3110 · 12/06/2020 22:17

@EmBrum Hey welcome,
I had short cycles and early ovulating n too. I'm not sure what that means though with the dates etc 🤷🏻‍♀️

EmBrum · 12/06/2020 22:43

@Stephanie3110 thanks so much! I guess they can date us better at first scan/s...?! I used a shorter cycle on NHS calculator to get my EDD x

Rainbow5SF · 12/06/2020 23:04

Thank you @Stephanie3110 🌈

MorgenMuffel · 13/06/2020 08:10

congratulations @Rainbow5SF. So sorry to hear of your previous loss. I'm on here after an IVF cycle and think its so understandable to be more anxious about everything when there have been problems in the past. I'm trying to take each day as it comes and start off with "today I am pregnant".

Muriel84 · 13/06/2020 08:15

Morning everyone. I’m very cautiously moving over here from conception boards. 4+5 today with an edd of 15/02/2021. First baby and I’m 35.

Had two back to back early miscarriages prior to this at 6 and 5 weeks. Sleeping terribly at the mo. Nausea and horrible taste in my mouth when I wake around 4:30. Also have discomfort in lower stomach and back for past day which is worse when I’m lying down on my back. Causing me an awful lot of anxiety.

People who are having nhs early scans - did you organise yourself through epau? Epau near me were so unpleasant when I had my miscarriage.
