I posted something asking am I normal for crying at silly things while pregnant at 22 weeks. Turns out I am normal.

My recent things have been:
Britain's got talent
Scooby doo
Things my son says
My partner eating one of my cookies 😳
Adverts

That's just the past week.

A few people replied on my other post but just wondering what things other people have cried about while currently pregnant or a past pregnancy.

I ordered a free sample of some nappies from an eco friendly company, just opened the box today and cried because the nappies were just so small.

Dh was eating biscuits in front of me I had gestational diabetes and couldn't have any. Then I cried when bought me sugar free biscuits lol 😂 cried at the good dinosaur in the cinema. I'm talking proper ugly crying lol. I'm sure there are more but those stand out the most.

I cried the other night because my DH asked me to move over in bed a bit because he was on the edge of the bed. I threw the pillow that was supporting my back across the room in rage 😂

In my 1st trimester I burst into tears one morning because I didn’t want to put a bra on but couldn’t not wear one to work (pre-lockdown).

You know that Specsavers advert where the old sheep farmer accidentally shears his dog? Yeah. That. Every time.

Had my baby now but for a while I would tear up at anything.

@Dreamcatcher34 OMG I feel you! He makes me feel that way even before pregnancy 😂😂😂

HarrietM87 · 25/05/2020 19:59

Cried today reading “I’ll love you forever” to my toddler (WHY didn’t I foresee that) and also when toddler dropped my slice of pizza on the floor (still ate it).

In my last pregnancy I had a total meltdown because DH took a pic of my shadow because he said it looked exactly like Santa (aka fat) and didn’t speak to him for a whole 5 hr train journey.

Mess! I cried because cupboards were cluttered, I cried because building work wasnt finished and I cried because it was dusty and I felt we didnt have everything ready that we should have done.

I've been pregnant twice and only had one silly cry during my first (second I think I was too tired to cry!).

When my DGM died, my DM gave us her old hoover. It was quite old but it worked fine, until one day it just wouldn't pick up. DH tried everything but he couldn't get it working, and said we'd have to get a new one. I sobbed! I was furious as well, because that was my Gran's hoover and how dare DH want to throw it out, had he not liked my Gran!? (I should point out that DGM had died some 5 years previously, so not exactly recent! Plus, y'know, it was a hoover.)

Anyway, DM ended up giving us her hoover, and she took DGM's back, convinced she could fix it. Between her and my DSF they did manage to get it going, and it still works now. Everytime I see it at DM's, I always think "Ha, DH!" Grin And then I remember how much I cried Blush

@xxxemzyxxx Grin and cringey Dominic Cummings pushed me over the edge tonight.

CatsOfSummer · 25/05/2020 22:52

I cried one morning after reading a macaroni recipe that seemed really nice, but it would be ages before DH would be home to make it for me. Total spoiled pregnant brat I was (in fairness I was sick every day until the day I gave birth, was very heavily pregnant and couldn’t stand up for very long at the time of the Great Macaroni Anguish of 2017)

Grand national , a horse fell horribly over a fence . I'm not even a horse lover but I was in bits .

Amusing list of crying topics!
I am 37 + 3 and just crying all the time. I cry because I’m tired, the baby is kicking me and it hurts, he isn’t kicking and I’m worried somethings wrong, I’m nervous for labour, I want pregnancy to be over and would have the baby today if I could.

Erm. My poor husband can’t win?
