When did you get stretch marks?

I had my daughter at 38 weeks and didn't get any stretchmarks.
Currently pregnant with baby number two and wondering if I will get them this time around.
Did you get stretchmarks on your bump? And if so, how many weeks were you?
Also, is there anyone that didn't get them for their first pregnancy but got them for later pregnancies?

I had none with DC1, just had DC2 and at around 36 weeks, I ended up with 4/5 under my bump. Nearly got away with it!

Following with interest, 29 weeks and none yet... I don’t have any from growing massive boobs in my teens in the space of a few weeks, and mum didn’t get them in two pregnancies so I’m daring to hope 🤞

29 weeks I noticed a couple, by 34 weeks I was covered on the front of my stomach, I had excess water and baby was 10lb 1oz.. I only gained 20lbs big was alllll stomach

Nothing helped them, 7 months on they're fading and I'm used to them.

I got them last few days too - I assume so anyway as didn’t notice them til after I’d had the babies, they’re low down and I got suddenly enormous in the last couple of weeks so I Couldn’t actually see the bottom half of my tummy by the time I’m assuming they appeared!

I got them under my bump this Tuesday at 38+2 :( I had been so happy thinking I was managing to dodge them haha

Bizarrely I didn't get any despite DS being 9lb12oz & born at 42+1! Also I'd put on almost 4st through eating to avoid nausea Blush my mum didn't get any either though 🤷‍♀️

After I had DS, when I was going back to normal, so kind of anti stretch marks 😂

I had four marks two each side near my hips with my first child hardly noticeable, with my second those marks got longer , with my third well I look like I've been stabbed a few times.
They don't bother me at all I'm rather comfortable in my skin. I only noticed them after birth when my stomach went back to normal.

I'm wondering the same I'm 30 weeks and none yet but I'm expecting them as I have them from puberty on top of my thighs and also my mum got them!

I got mine in the last 6 weeks, they've faded loads since my baby was born though, and I don't mind them at all. Wish I'd never had my navel pierced though because I now have a weird stretched line instead of the small dot where the piercing hole was.

Im 35 weeks and got a few on my stomach at either side, around 4 on each side angry looking ones. Got them at 33 weeks pregnant overnight 😑 have been putting bio oil on religiously since the start !

I didn't get any stretchmarks at all in any of my three pregnancies. Must be genetic as my mum didn't get any either.

Dc1 shredded me, i have massive ones below my belly i can get my thumb into. I was alot bigger pre pregnancy than with dc2 who i got none with but stomach muscles have taken a beating and probably won't go back

I guess I can expect to get them in the last few weeks then... I am definitely bigger than I was with my first.
Maybe bio oil doesn't work after all as it seems some people have used it and still got them!!

I didnt get any during pregnancy, but afterwards I got some on my bum and tops of my thighs

I got them when the baby ‘dropped’ so in the last week. I only got a couple the first time. The second time I got dozens.

None with either pregnancy. I didn't use anyproducts so I think I was just lucky.

i didn't get any x2 babies. i was using various pure plant oils but my mum also insists it's down to genetics (she had x4, no stretch marks and she's not the type to bugger about with products). she does also have extremely good face skin which i do not 🤨

From 39 weeks for me. They’re fine though.
My sister didn’t get any, it’s all down to genetics x

None until my third, thought I'd escaped them too! Hyperemesis and sudden weight loss alongside a fast growing belly is not good for skin elasticity apparently.

Another one who thought she escaped them but got them at about 39.5 weeks with DS1

Didn't get any with DS2 for some reason.

Last few weeks too also got them all over the front and sides of my thighs, back of calfs?!, love handle area and boobs. I wasn't very big in my pregnancys and have always been slim before and after. It's just genetics I think :) after about 6 months they fade and it's a new normal, I don't think about them anymore at all now
