Wow @FirstTimeMumAt31 that's so exciting! Massive congratulations!

FirstTimeMumAt31 · 23/05/2020 18:09

@inthestars90 yes it's our first lol I would defo recommend it. Our woman Laura was absolutely amazing! I had it internal because I was in so much pain holding my wee and wouldn't of been able to enjoy the scan but she said she would of ended up having to do internal anyway with it being twins. Not uncomfortable at all either.

FirstTimeMumAt31 · 23/05/2020 18:10

@Baba11 had no idea. I had joked about it because there is twins in both sides of my family but I never for a second actually thought that 🙈🤣

FirstTimeMumAt31 · 23/05/2020 18:11

@Lilypad2020 @MissHoney85 @ZRS86 thank you guys so much! I was hoping this early scan would make it all feel real and I have to say it's defo done that! Hahah

whatsthecraic91 · 23/05/2020 18:38

@FirstTimeMumAt31 wow that's incredible!!! Double congratulations to you!! x

BabyG123 · 23/05/2020 18:43

@FirstTimeMumAt31 how exciting! Congratulations. Am I right in thinking non identical if they're in separate sacs?

And what's your due date now he it brought you to December?

What's your pregnancy symptoms?

So Many questions- Mostly because DH swears we're having twins with how rough I've been this time lol 🥰🥰

FirstTimeMumAt31 · 23/05/2020 18:54

@BabyG123 honestly I have no idea lol. Because it was a private scan they never mentioned a due date. Just said one baby was measuring 7.4 and one 7.6. At one point she mentioned I could be 9 weeks rather than 8 so I have no idea. I actually think aswell she could have told me but I'm in that much shock I might have forgot 🤣🤣. The only really symptoms I have had is very bad sickness. Sore boobs one week but not so much now!

BabyDust13 · 23/05/2020 19:13

@FirstTimeMumAt31 congratulations 🥳

MrsF111 · 23/05/2020 19:35

Littlepeas2 · 23/05/2020 19:43

@FirstTimeMumAt31 double congratulations!!! How exciting!!!

StephS1984 · 23/05/2020 19:50

Congratulations @FirstTimeMumAt31 that is such exciting news.

BabyG123 · 23/05/2020 20:05

@FirstTimeMumAt31 so exciting. I might be wrong but I think you can only go to 37 weeks with twins eeeeekkkk

I've googled it. You have 2 separate sacs so each have a separate placenta which means less risks 👏🏼 and non identical. I'm such a geek with things like this

Hi ladies, I’m new here! I’ve worked out that I should probably be due end of January ... it’s strange because I came off the pill a year ago and never had periods, so was seeing a specialist as I wasn’t ovulating, so no chance of getting pregnant. Had sore boobs last week, took a test, pregnant!

Nice to meet you all, is there a Facebook group I could join to?

mummasoph · 23/05/2020 20:40

Hey so I posted on the last thread that last Monday I got my BFP and the last few days I've had some abdominal pain so I called my GP and they got me in and had a feel of my tummy she was concerned about an ectopic as I was more tender on one side than the other. I got sent to my early pregnancy unit where I had some tests done, I had urine test which was clear, a cervical exam which all looked good and had bloods done for hcg levels which were at 487 which is normal for 4.5 weeks have to go back again tomorrow to make sure the hcg levels are doubling. The pain isn't immense and it comes and goes and I have some lower back pain so I'm just thinking maybe it's an ovarian cyst? I'm so anxious just trying to think of every scenario. Also do you think I could ask for an early ultrasound if they don't offer me one to just reassure me everything is ok and to see if it could be a cyst? I'm so anxious and driving myself mad 😔

byemmacampbell · 23/05/2020 20:56

@mummasoph I’m so sorry to hear the stress you’ve had with this so far, hoping it’s all ok. I’m 4-5 weeks pregnant and I have a lot of sharp pains which feel like they are around my ovaries... I haven’t felt worried yet, but no idea if it’s normal... I do have pcos so like you say, could be cysts for you?

Littlebump2018 · 23/05/2020 22:19

@firsttimemumat41 massive congrats!! what are your pregnancy symptoms like? Xxx

BabyG123 · 23/05/2020 22:28

@mummasoph I had cramping this morning for about half an hour and was worried but it went. Wondered if trapped gas at the time but I've been frantically googling all day! Pcos has come up a lot in google. Let us know how it goes.

Hi everybody.
Congratulations to you all 😊🎊
I got my bfp on Monday which was a complete shock. I was supposed to be a day past my days for conceiving according to the Flo app but here I am lol.
This will be my 2nd and I'm so excited to do it all again after a 10yr gap. According to my google searches I should be due between 21/1 and 27/1 - my long cycle is probably the cause of the varied results.
Is anyone else experiencing cramps frequently? I just can't remember when they finally stopped

Wineandrun · 24/05/2020 06:08

Morning @mjordy92 this is my third and I don’t remember having cramps like this with the other two! I think it’s normal but it’s unnerving. It’s strange how different this pregnancy feels for me, I keep wondering whether I’ve dreamt the whole thing! Congratulations :)

Soozbuck · 24/05/2020 06:19

Hi ladies,
Congratulations to you all!! 🥰
Hopefully I can join in!
I got my BFP last Monday and I am 5 +3, EDD 22nd January 😁

My symptoms are fatigue, sore boobs, nausea in the late afternoon, back ache on my lower right side and repulsed by the smell of toast and bananas 😂

Does anyone else have the back pain? I've had it for a week now, it seems to come and go but gets worse at night 😖

This is my first pregnancy so every ache and pain makes me worry!! I'm thinking about booking for an early scan when I am 8 weeks xxx

mummasoph · 24/05/2020 06:29

@byemmacampbell aww bless you, yeah I mean I didn't have this with my other pregnancy but I know each one is different. Something just feels off, and I know this pain isn't supposed to be there although I may be paranoid. Hoping for a cyst rather than an ectopic, really want this pregnancy to be successful 😥🙏🏽💜

@babyg123 hoping for the best for you! I will definitely let you know how I get on, I don't go till 7:30 tonight for bloods so won't get a call with my results till about 9:30/10 which is painful but hopefully everything is ok and I think I will request an ultrasound just to make sure all's ok and hoping they give me one. Will keep you posted. 💜

Carabu1 · 24/05/2020 08:44

@FirstTimeMumAt31 - what a lovely surprise! (Or maybe not that much of a surprise if you’re both families full of twins!) still, lovely, congrats!

Lollipop93 · 24/05/2020 08:49

@Soozbuck Hey, I think we are due round about the same time I’m due around 19th January. The fatigue and nausea is soooo annoying. I keep on making myself feel sick at the thought of the food in the fridge and I dunno why those thoughts keep popping into my head 😂 so frustrating. I can smell every little thing and feel like anything I smell makes me feel sick!! I had some back pain too but that’s kind of went away now. I just can’t believe it’s real and can’t believe I need to wait another 7 weeks before i even know anything for sure :( I doubt I would go for an early scan coz the one near me is closed. This is my second pregnancy and can’t remember when this sickness feeling went away the first time but I’m hoping soon. Coz it’s really not ideal with a 18 month old buzzing about. I have the mum guilt that I’m not giving her as much attention :( thank god for hubby.

orangetangerines · 24/05/2020 08:51
