@BabyG123 took the words out my mouth. This nausea and dizziness is so horrible 😭 I’m still in bed scared to move. I had constant nausea with my last pregnancy up until pretty much trimester 2. It’s the worst

PastaBolognaise · 23/05/2020 08:20

@BabyG123 and @Lollipop93 when did your nausea begin? I had it for my last three pregnancies but I cannot remember when it started. So far I feel OK but I’m dreading it beginning.

FirstTimeMumAt31 · 23/05/2020 08:20

Today is the day girls. I'm 8+1 and heading for an early scan later after work! Excited and slightly scared, I've got work this morning to keep me occupied and then it's off to the clinic 🤞🏻

Carabu1 · 23/05/2020 08:28

Eeee good luck @FirstTimeMumAt31! I loved mine yesterday - it was really reassuring and exciting to see it in there wiggling away! Plus, it doesn’t seem as torturously long now to 12 weeks....!

Thanks @Baba11 and @Jellybean252. I find it reassuring to hear other worried peoples positive stories so thought I’d share.

I have a question for you ladies - has anyone had lletz treatment for abormal cervical cells? I had this a few years ago and I know it can weaken your cervix but not sure when is the best time to get it checked and stitched if needed. It’s one of my many questions for the midwife if I ever get to speak to her...! But thought I’d see if anyone on here had experience?

FirstTimeMumAt31 · 23/05/2020 08:33

Thanks @Carabu1 I honestly think I would crack up waiting until 12 weeks atm lol. It helps that this scan can be attended by my partner. I would feel so sad at 12 weeks seeing the little bean without him for the first time so this was defo a must for us- even if it is a 3hr round trip for us to get to it 🙈🙈

Carabu1 · 23/05/2020 08:45

@FirstTimeMumAt31 my husband cried all the way home 😂 It was lovely to have him there. I feel a lot better about the wait now - I know things can go wrong right up to birth, but a normal baby at 8 weeks puts the stats firmly on our side, which calms me down when I feel panicky. Let us know how it goes!

FirstTimeMumAt31 · 23/05/2020 08:48

Ah I think it might be quite emotional for my partner too, he's been looking up nursery stuff and in the spare room with a measuring tape- he just seems so excited and keeps asking me if I think he will be a good dad- I honestly could not think of a better man to have my family with. I will update you all later and I have the same thoughts now I'm 8 weeks and hoping for the best 💕

gb000 · 23/05/2020 09:38

Hi ladies,

Work has been mad so I haven't posted in a while. Congrats to all new BFPs!

Question - I'm now 7+4 and yesterday and today my symptoms have pretty much dropped off. Nausea gone, boobs not sore anymore and stayed up past 9pm last night! I'm really worried even though we had a scan at 7+0 and saw a strong heartbeat (145) and baby measuring bang on 7 weeks.

Is anyone else also experiencing symptoms that come and go? It's so unnerving!

Baba11 · 23/05/2020 09:50

@FirstTimeMumAt31 good luck for the scan today. Let us know how u get on chick.

Lilo08 · 23/05/2020 10:22

Hi, can I join too? Got a positive on weds using internet cheapies and couldn’t believe it. Finally tested yesterday with a ‘proper’ test and yes it’s positive!
I have an 11 year old and have been trying since she turned 3 and this is the first positive test since my bfp with her. I hope this sticks. I’m around 4 weeks. When do I let gp know?

Lollipop93 · 23/05/2020 10:43

@PastaBolognaise I’m only 5+4 now according to natural cycles app and I would say the nausea started getting real about a few days ago. I really I hope it doesn’t get much worse but i think it will :( not actually been sick yet but sometimes I think the feeling of needing to be sick constantly is worse

BabyG123 · 23/05/2020 10:45

@Lollipop93 @PastaBolognaise it's the dizziness that's getting me as keep feeling like I'm going to fall over.
Has nausea since 2dpo believe it or not! But dizziness started this week.

@FirstTimeMumAt31 exciting! Let us know how it goes!

@gb000 your hormones double every few days so don't speak to soon it may all return if your body has adjusted to the level 🤪

@Lilo08 welcome wow what a lovely long awaited surprise. Congrats

@gb000 Hi there, I’m the same at the moment, mine come and go. I’m 6 weeks and my cramps have eased and I don’t feel fuzzy headed and tired like I have recently, which always gives me a little worry as I’ve had a miscarraige before. Still have sore boobs though! I’m honestly wishing nausea and dizziness to happen, though I know I’d be complaining if I had them! Anyone else’s symptoms coming and going?

butwhiletheresmusicandlaughter · 23/05/2020 13:56

Would love to join this thread. Got my BFP a few days ago making me just over 4 weeks. This is my fourth. Our eldest is nearly 15, our youngest is 7. Feel like I’ve forgotten everything! The sickness has started already which I have been surprised about. Don’t recall it starting this early with the others.

Sunshinedahlia · 23/05/2020 13:56

I had dizziness for a few days only. Sore boobs have been a constant since 9 dpo: when will they stop growing? And oh so tired!

Wineandrun · 23/05/2020 14:10

Hi everyone can I join please? Found out a few days ago I’m pregnant with number 3! I’m so happy but I’m absolutely terrified every time I go to the toilet, like it seriously makes me feel sick and shaking in case I’m bleeding. Anyone else feel the same? It’s making me into a really horrible person to be around! I’m 37 and so scared that I’m going to MC. I’ve had really sore boobs for three weeks until today when they suddenly feel normal. With my others they were so sore I could barely walk for the whole first trimester. Also so much cramping for well over a week now! It’s so stressful 😭

Baba11 · 23/05/2020 15:17

@butwhiletheresmusicandlaughter my youngest is 6 so I definitely feel like Iv been out the game too long. I guess every pregnancy is different.

Congrats and welcome to all the newbies
@Wineandrun We are all very anxious for different reasons. Have you had a mc before? I know it's hard but you need to stop stressing over it. What will be will be.. cramps for the first week are common as your body is stretching.. I know it's easy to say. I had a mc last year and was so worried but I am now content with what will be will be. If I'm doing all the right things like eating and resting then the rest is gods will.

PastaBolognaise · 23/05/2020 16:31

@butwhiletheresmusicandlaughter welcome! It sounds like we are in similar situations. This is my 4th, my eldest is nearly 14 and youngest just turned 7. I never ever thought I’d be doing this again. DH and I keep trying to work out how on Earth this even happened! My eldest already knows as she say a photo of the rest on the phone. She’s thrilled but I’ve banned her from telling the others and made her aware of all the risks at this stage.

PastaBolognaise · 23/05/2020 16:32

That should say “saw a photo of the test”! Must learn to proof read.

butwhiletheresmusicandlaughter · 23/05/2020 17:09

@PastaBolognaise, that’s funny, our situations are eerily similar! None of ours k ow yet, we are trying to keep it quiet until after 1st scan but I can already tell that’s going to be difficult! Ours was planned, but even so I keep having moments of OMG what have we done! This will def be the last.

FirstTimeMumAt31 · 23/05/2020 18:00

Hey ladies! Just thought I would pop on and let you know how my early scan went!

TWINS!

To say me and my partner are in shock is an understatement but as equally over the moon!

@FirstTimeMumAt31 wow! Congrats!!

Are they your first babies?

Would you recommend the scan? I'm still trying to decide 🙂
