@Babyboom1990 £70 in window to the womb. Suppose it's worth it if I can find out everything is ok. I'm going to wait to later and if I'm still bleeding I will book it. Blood continues to be just brown atm

gb000 · 01/06/2020 12:37

@ladiebirdie, to follow up on the below, had my scan today and everything was fine! Measuring behind LMP but spot on for ovulation - 9+1 (I thought I was 8+6, but still). Heartbeat of 173.

So changing / lessening symptoms are obviously not necessarily a bad thing! In fact this weekend I felt so normal on Saturday it was scary - could eat proper food and go for a long walk, no nausea whatsoever. I will stop stressing about that now!
Sincerely hope all goes well with your scan tomorrow x

@gb000 glad everything went well and it definitely make us feel better to know that lack of symptoms is ok. Even better to know that you are further along than u thought!

I can't wait till some of us start sharing their scan photos... so exciting to be sharing this journey with u all x

Sazzy312 · 01/06/2020 13:33

Hiya can i join? Im due 7th jan currently 8+5 days feeling less sick today thankfully but been having on off cramps for a few days im assuming its just stretching but who knows, I've seen baby heartbeat last week which was reassuring as I was bleeding but thats due to a hemorrhage in the womb, congratulations everyone 😊

gb000 · 01/06/2020 13:33

Thank you girls!

@Babyboom1990, I actually did have some light cramping and pulling this weekend. Nothing too intense but definitely noticeable. Apparently it's very normal bc your ligaments are stretching etc!

MayBug2020 · 01/06/2020 13:40

Ladies who are suffering with sickness or nausea what have you turned too to help?

Positivetime · 01/06/2020 13:47

Oh gosh I’m feeling super nauseous since yesterday! I’ve completely gone off food. I’m finding fresh fruit makes me feel better for a bit.

lilypad88 · 01/06/2020 14:24

@gb000 Amazing news! 😃 glad to hear everything is okay and it's reassuring to know these things can happen but not be harmful to baby ^^

lilypad88 · 01/06/2020 14:25

@Sazzy312 welcome! And congrats! 😁 Ohh I wish I was a bit more advanced, can't wait for my scan now!!

Sonny124 · 01/06/2020 14:33

@lilypad88My sickness started before I found out, I kept getting travel sick 🤮

@MayBug2020 I’m on anti sickness although they help some days and not others. Travel bands are helping with the severity of nausea. Other than that I found just lying down and doing nothing (other half is impressed...)

lilypad88 · 01/06/2020 15:47

Ugh... I feel like a big bag of potatoes... Even though I'm only 5 weeks, I feel fat already!

Do any of you got cats? I read everywhere I shouldn't change the litter box myself... bit lets be honest, if I let dp do it, it will be hafl done... 😒 do you think I'm taking a big risk??

MayBug2020 · 01/06/2020 16:00

@Positivetime thank you, I have had apple but can’t face bananas.

@Sonny124 haha yes I have to work up to getting out of bed in the mornings haha luckily working from home.

@lilypad88 I am the same I think it’s all the bloating. I don’t have cats but I have read about the risk - I would try and get your over half to do it xx

Skyla01 · 01/06/2020 16:28

@lilypad88 my OH has been dealing with the litter tray since I got my BFP. Lucky him Grin tbf normally I change it a lot more often so it's just evening things out. Although it is my cat...

@babyboom1990 and @gb000 I had cramps at the weekend too...well, more like someone was gently squeezing my insides...I wouldn't call them painful, exactly. They've stopped now though and I haven't had any bleeding so I figure its probably just stretching going on - the growth rate does seem to pick up at 9/10 weeks, so hope that's all it is. I have a very high pain threshold though, so never sure whether to trust my lack of pain, ha.

@babyboom1990 - ah that’s probably it then, rather than anything sinister. I’m afraid I have no idea re: order of bleeding and cramping, but I’m speaking to my midwife (finally) on Wednesday so I might ask her then, just in case it starts again.

@MayBug2020, I find having a rich tea biscuit every time I get up in the night and when I wake up in the morning good. Also having food little and often helps. Last pregnancy, I ate a lot of chewy ginger sweets, but this time , I can’t stomach them.

BabyG123 · 01/06/2020 17:34

@MayBug2020 today's the first full day of nausea (8+6) normally just morning and evening. Really struggling at work. I'm not a good sicky person anyway 🤪

Lollipop93 · 01/06/2020 18:21

Over the weekend my nausea pretty much completely went and it was great now I fear it has made a comeback Envy It’s horrible. I’m barely eating

MayBug2020 · 01/06/2020 19:36

@StephS1984 yes I might get some rich tea or digestives as I am not sure on the ginger snaps I got. I am trying to eat little and often by then worry I am eating too much. Feel so bloated this evening I honestly look like 5 months pregnant! :/

@BabyG123 oh bless you! I am the same though really struggle with being sick or feeling sick so knew I would struggle with it lol

@Lollipop93 oh no - it’s horrible that it tricks you and you think it’s gone. How after along are you? I am nearing 7 weeks and feel it’s ramping up! X

lilypad88 · 01/06/2020 19:43

Did you all started having morning sickness as soon as you knew you were pregnant? I still don't have much symptoms apart from my nipples getting huge 😂
