Hi all, can I join? Found out a couple days ago we’ve conceived and due 30th Jan!! Exactly 3 years ago today I found out I was due with my little boy EDD 31/1/18 so it’s all very exciting!
I’m super nervous and don’t want to let myself get too excited though

@Littlepeas2 Haha you should, we will all be busy turning up for scans on the 6th. When I sent my dates to the private clinic for the scan they said the earliest and best date would be the 6th - I considered waiting another week but knew I wouldn't be able to wait! Do you have many symptoms?

Hey guys :) I’ve been monitoring this thread for the last week or so, only now got the courage (and reassurance from an early scan) to post!

Based on my last period I thought was 8+1 meaning I was due 3rd January so went for A scan today, baby has a really strong heart beat but is measuring 6+5. They said this can happen as it just depends when I ovulated in my cycle, just to let midwife know so they can move my 12 week scan back a bit... has anyone else had this?

I’m going to ring the midwife tomorrow and It’s only added 10 days to my due date so I’m sure it’s fine but I’m such a worrier!

I’ve just discovered that ice lollies hugely help with the nausea! It’s really kicked in today.. hoping it’s a good sign things are progressing? How’s everyone feeling?

Booked our private scan for 8 weeks so less than 4 weeks to go :) it's actually on father's day which is nice x

Only symptom really is sore boobs!! They’re really tender now and hurt even when they’re slightly knocked. Apart from that I’m pretty good! How about you?

Hi everyone, just has my bfp today! After over 3 years ttc and a mc last year I feel so relieved and excited (and quite nervous too) apparently my due date will be around the 28th jan 2021 so I just make the cut!

@gb000 I was looking for your very post- I too am 7 +5 and my symptoms have really calmed down, only slight cramping and my nausea has been gone for 2 days. I'm worrying but hoping to see a strong heartbeat at my scan next week. Its madness that we want to feel I'll and sure I will regret thinking it when/if it does come back.

@LadieBirdie isn't it mad? I honestly worried myself sick yesterday and got so worked up about it. I'm thinking of booking another scan end of this week just bc my booking appointment is Saturday and I don't want to go through that if somethings gone wrong. I know logically we are probably ok but it's so hard to be rational! When is your scan?

Hope I am ok to join the thread. Had my BFP a few days ago.. still processing it to be honest.
Clearblue said 2-3 weeks, so thinking I'm around 5 weeks ( according to my own calculations, although my cycles can be irregular).

Any idea when best to speak to my GP about a referral to the midwives?

@gb000 I've booked in for 3rd June, it's the second day the are open when we are allowed to take partners. The 1st was fully booked. I will be 9 weeks. I'm supposed to have my booking appointment in the next few days, I will give them a ring tomorrow. Fingers crossed for our little beans xx 🤞🤞

Welcome all the newbies and congrats!

Any one else got this really sexy, attractive gagging symptom? What seems to get me is things like (tries not to gag writing it) the chicken juice left in the bottom of the packet once you've taken the breasts out. Or today just making DH's lunch got me 😱

@BabyG123 lol yes everything is turning me. I couldn't even brush my teeth this morning without gagging. The thought of the toothpaste in my mouth

@mummasoph Hi I’m glad to hear your appointment went well. I may be in a similar boat to you and just wanted to ask did you have a scan too and were they able to see anything at this stage? Sorry I think I read you said you were 4.5 weeks or did I get that wrong?

I’m 6 weeks tomorrow and I’ve been having lower abdominal pain on and off since week 4 I think. And GP has referred me for a early scan tomorrow to check it isn’t ectopic. Am really scared and haven’t been able to think about anything else and just want all to be ok tomorrow.

@positivetime hey! Aww sorry to hear your having pain. It's such a scary time, yeah I'm 5 weeks now according to my app, they have referred me for a scan on Friday morning to make sure they haven't missed anything so yes I'm assuming they wouldn't do that unless they were confident they could see what they needed to at this stage so I'm sure if you're 6 weeks then they will be able to see what they need to. I'm hoping for the best for you! Have the not done your bloods over 2 days before referring you for a scan? X

I'm waiting on a call back from the doctor I've had really bad cramps the last couple of days I'm 5+6 today.

I'm hoping they send me for an early scan or at least have something comforting to say to put my mind at rest my private scan isn't for and 2 and a half weeks

Im new here, been reading all your comments and stories over the last few weeks which has been nice :) I'm 7 weeks pregnant today, but nobody except my partner (and GP/Midwife) knows. Partner is not excited as was a bit of a surprise! finding it a bit difficult to not talk about the baby as mindful of his feelings. anyone else had similar situations with their partners? I don't know what to do except wait until he feels better about it!

@BabyDust13 sorry to hear that, what a worry. Hopefully everything is ok.

@PinkBlossom22 congratulations. Sorry you're OH isn't very excited. Maybe he needs a bit of time? Might be worth having a good talk about it all with him. It's not something you can just ignore...!

Hi ladies,

I'm so scared. Since yesterday I've been spotting and now this morning ive had some discharge tinged with blood. I called my midwife and she's booked me in for a scan tomorrow at 13.50. I'm so anxious and petrified something will go wrong
