Ladies, DH and I have spent the last few weekends looking extensively at buggies and of all the ones we've seen and "tested" we can't help liking the bugaboo most, it seems to tick so many more of our boxes than the others but we are furious with ourselves, why do we have to like the most expensive one?! I'd really appreciate anyone's thoughts on the bugaboo, good or bad. Thanks!

Also I was so dissapointed with the Quinny Buzz because I just couldn't get the security clip down when it was folded, I was almost in tears, I am quite strong and couldn't believe I couldn't do it

dont have a maclaren, imo a bugaboo is dream pram so dont need a maclaren etc

but quinny zapp for flying/travel

don't have a maclaren - no plans to get one either - baby 6 months and am still v happy with bugaboo. worth every penny. typing one handed as baby teething

Sarahjct · 19/10/2007 06:49

No intention of a Maclaren here either. It makes me cringe to see still little babies curled up in them with no visible means of support or comfort. I'd far rather push something heavier and know that she was nice and cosy than put her in a deck chair on wheels so early just cos it's lighter for me.

Sorry, that sounds snotty and it's not meant to! I just think the poor little scraps look so uncomfortable in them.

Spugs - you can get fabric or fleece or denim with both the old and new cameleon.

Are you having a girl Spugs?

spugs · 19/10/2007 14:05

dont know, have 2 already and cant imaghine having any thing different. my plan was though to sell the pink fleeces and buy some yellow ones as thats hubbys fav.

MrsMcSpooky · 19/10/2007 14:45

it sounds like a good deal I have to say. I know there are some people trying to swoop coloured bits in the swoop section but I don't recall any yellow. We've got a green fleece muff to appease DH but the buggy is sand and the hood is off white fabric - we are moving to the sun so thought those colours would be best although they do sound a little boring!
