Hi!
Just got my BFP this weekend.
I got my first faint positive Friday morning with an frer, and today it's much darker (11dpo)!

Leading up to my bfp, I've had icky feeling, tiredness, dizzy spells, headaches, cramps.
Not feeling as icky as with my last pregnancy yet though!
Provisional due date of 7th January using the NHS calculator.

Congratulations everyone 🤗 I got my BFP the other week, currently 5 weeks 2 days. My symptoms seem to come and go, not had much in the way of sickness. I do feel quite bloated, and seem to burp (luckily not loud more like a hicup) a lot more than normal.

@Lcxxx you'll have a little helper. It'll be lovely. You do think of the dynamics. I'm going to have 2 under 2 and keep thinking how I'm going to give DS1 my all too!

I’m sure we’ll muddle our way through it!! Just feels crazy because for so long we have said we only want one and it’s been a recent decision to try for another! So I think it’s been a bit of a whirlwind!! X

I got my positive test this week, my apps say due 21st or 24th Jan.. Anyone else terrified it could all just go away? X

@Pol96 congratulations! I only found out this week and I agree with you now the thought of waiting until week 12 is making me anxious but trying to tell myself to trust my body - is this your first? X

@MayBug2020 congratulations to you too! Yes this is my first, and also the first time I've ever got a positive on a test, now I keep taking tests to see if the lines getting darker but I'm taking them every day instead of every other day so it's hard to tell if there's progression which stresses me out even more 😫 is this your first? X

I found out this week I'm pregnant for the first time, I'm 5 weeks today 😁 it's slowly sinking in, we had started to try at the beginning of the year, however I was made redundant 2 weeks before the lock down. I was devastated that we would have to put our plans on hold 🙈 but life has a way of surprising you.

I've been so bloated constantly with really uncomfortable wind & heart burn. Is this normal? My boobs feel like melons 😂 at 5 weeks I slept last night with a pillow wrapped round me & had to take a Rennie before bed 😂 woke up this morning feeling slightly dizzy & very nauseous.

Do all partners walk round in a state of shock, like I've just burnt down his man cave 😂😂

Any advice or home remedies?

@Pol96 congratulations!!! I haven’t taken any more tests - did two on Friday but that’s it. Heard loads of people continuing to take them which is making me think should I?? I did a test 10 days ago which was negative so I was a little shocked at the positive. Yes this is my first :) trying to not get too excited until the scan but it’s such a wait! Xx

@ClairejLindsay congratulations!! I also found out this week too! I also have sore boobs what actually woke me up last night and seem to be a cup size bigger already (not complaining). I also have a constant sick feeling like I haven’t eaten all day.
I have been told to try ginger biscuits, eat small and regular instead of 3 meals a day and sip water not big gulps.

I'll send my better half to the shop for some ginger nuts, I've been having hot water which is a game changer for heart burn just eases it.

How are you feeling?

I am feeling ok just the sickness, sore breast and tired. In the mornings I also had like a tummy ache like I need to go to the toilet which I believe is also normal.

My app says my estimate due date is about 7th Jan but I am not sure as the pregnancy test said differently so I may have ovulated later. Everyone is said the midwife will use first date of last period until the scan. I have my first midwife call tomorrow so will check with her. I think it’s over the phone due to covid but would normally be face to face.
How are you feeling? Have you made contact with your gp or midwife? Xx

I've rang my local community midwifes & I've completed a referral form I'm just waiting back on someone to call to have my booking appointment. I'm anxious to get the call as I've got epilepsy so I've got plenty of questions. I have spoken to my neuro Dr waiting to hear back from him.

I've been to Tesco to get my biscuits 😁😁

I've been feeling ok, so bloated though. But I suppose it won't feel like such a shock when I get a bump. Xx

Well after yesterday's stupid idea of POAS after loads of water and in the middle of the day I took another test this morning and I'm back up to 3+! I'm never POAS every again!

I don’t feel bloated but I do have lower back ache xx

Man the needing to wee so much is getting annoying! Was up three times last night! Feel a bit bad for waking DH up but he's very understanding of course.

Am going off food a bit, not so much with specific aversions (except uncle Ben's lemon rice which I normally love 🤢), more just generally not feeling hungry. It's the constipation I suppose. Definitely my main symptom right now alongside the sore boobs!

I've read it makes morning sickness worse if you have spicy food. I know this because I have it a lot so cut it down this week. Might help someone 🤪🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi Everyone 😊 posted on here last week as found out I am pregnant, the clearblue said I'm 2-3weeks but the NHS site says to put in lasts period so how do I work it out? I think I conceived week of April 20-25th which would make me around 3 weeks+ but nhs site says I'm 5 weeks. So due date is either 28th Jan or 12th Jan 🙄 What should I go by? It's all confusing! X

@Beautybake5 I am in the same boat as you. My period works out as I am due early Jan but test showed 2-3weeks which means I am a week behind. I was told the midwife will go off the first day of your last period until your scan where they will give you a more accurate DD xx

Can symptoms fluctuate??? I felt worse yesterday than I do today and now I'm worried somethings wrong.. X

@ClairejLindsay thank you, you too! My constant symptoms being really tired.. But not being able to get to sleep at night.. I've felt a bit nauseous yesterday and day before and not so much today.. Is that okay!? X
