Hi!
Just got my BFP this weekend.
I got my first faint positive Friday morning with an frer, and today it's much darker (11dpo)!

Leading up to my bfp, I've had icky feeling, tiredness, dizzy spells, headaches, cramps.
Not feeling as icky as with my last pregnancy yet though!
Provisional due date of 7th January using the NHS calculator.

@whatsthecraic91 @Babytobe if it's any help when I had my first baby I had no symptoms throughout my entire pregnancy. I'm currently around 5 weeks and again hardly any symptoms, so it's not always a bad thing

Hello all, and a huge congratulations to everyone!

I found at 10 dpo that I was pregnant and now on 14 dpo the lines are super dark and clear blue says 'pregnant'! So happy as it's our first and this was only our second month of trying so can't quite believe it's happened so fast! Calculators are showing a due date of 09.01.21

I've had some mild symptoms but nothing major :)

Fingers crossed all our little beans stick 💕

I felt really sick yesterday and had a strong metallic taste in my mouth; the taste is still there but fainter and I don't feel sick today. Is it normal for symptoms to come and go so rapidly?

Anyone else feeling really dizzy? It's cover over me all of a sudden.

@Cat028 I did in my last pregnancy, it's blood pressure drop most likely, as blood rushing to uterus area and baby more.

@Babytobe I know it’s really hard, but try not to worry, they do say light pink is normally ok, but I understand how worrying this is having been there myself before.
Are you linked with your midwife yet? Are you able to give them a ring to get some reassurance?

@lakes10 that's good to know.
I'm having minimal symptoms, felt terrible first time round.
Hoping it doesn't mean anything, as was worrying I didn't feel the same as DS pregnancy.

@milkshake54 thank you for the kind words. I hope you are right.
Because of my consecutive miscarriages, I am under medical care. I am private so have the ability to email my OB anytime. She replied and said nothing she/ I can do except wait it out until viability (eugh, I hate that word) scan at 7 weeks to check the health of the pregnancy. The only thing she did say is if the bleeding gets worse or period like, with pain to go straight to maternity ED to check for ectopic.

Jez and there was I thinking the two week wait was torture. Now this! Well, 1 week 4 days to my scan. I just hope I a)make it that fae and b)its not bad news at that point. Need to try keep myself distracted until then but its so hard when so worried.

So many ups and downs in pregnancy, eh girls? Hopefully all of you are feeling good & sticky baby wishes to all of us 🎉 x x

Hey all. Im officially 13DPO today, period due Sunday. really panicking today though as have terrible what would be period like cramps!!!! Anyone else having this just before period due, despite a positive!? Xx

@Babytobe Yeah i think the tww is nothing in comparison to this! I think if i get to next weekend which will be the furthest I've ever got I might book a private scan to check everything is okay.

@Cat028 I wouldnt say ive been having dizzy spells but I have been having weird visual waves is how I could describe it for a couple of days.

@Popcat120 i can imagine how difficult nausea and ppe is.

@MrsBlue1986 my symptoms today - knackered, crampy but theyve eased off, burping like a trooper, cant decide if im hungry or feeling sick, boobs like lead!

@ilovetrees30 similar, minus the burping. my boobs just feel tender to touch and sleep on. Haha I know what you mean about hungry/nausea... its a strange feeling! I wonder when the nausea will go! Cramps come and go xx

@cat028 during my first pregnancy I was very dizzy it didnt ever get better. As @Popcat120 says Its blood flow and blood pressure dropping. Just take care especially later on.

My sickness normally takes hold with a vengeance around week 6. I have suffered with hypremesis twice from this point. I am 4 + 2 had tingly boobs on and off and a little bit tired but literally feel the same as normal. I lost one this April and one before that and I had no symptoms with either apart from what I have now which makes me so anxious. I can’t even tell anyone because I just feel I will lose it again. I am 40 and my gp told me that miscarriage at my age is 50% chance so Im not enjoying this at all. 😢

@MrsBlue1986 I have had this this morning and my period was due Tuesday past! It's calmed down now so hopefully it pass

Don't know when to book my private scan for as they only do early scans on Sundays at the minute, will I go for 7+1 or 8+1 - I'm scared 7+1 is too early and 8+1 seems too far away 😂

Sorry for the negativity. These are my last 2 tests. Bottom one today. Too 2 days ago but still can’t be happy.

@Babytobe sorry to are having such a worrying time. Hopefully you get to your scan quickly so it can give you some piece of mind.

@MrsBlue1986 yes for dizzy spells. And went totally off my bacon sarnie this morning and left half of it. 😔

@Skybooks did it ease for you? Or did they give you anything to relieve it?

@Jaylou7 this waiting is so difficult roll on all of our scans. I know it's extra hard at the moment but try to keep yourself distracted.

Funny as I write this, i am feeling just as nauseous as I was yesterday. Never thought would be relieved/ happy to be feeling like a quesy frog!!

@Babytobe it's a strange feeling being grateful for feeling dizzy/sick.

@Jaylou7 I don't think there's anything wrong with being reserved about it. I can only imagine how you feel having been there before. I am anxious enough about this and its our first but has been a loooooong time coming.

@cat028 it stayed the whole time if I'm honest. Everytime i had an appt I was told my blood pressure was low and not to get up too quick. I remember standing up when my son was about 3 days old and thinking oh I dont think I'm going to fall over.

I couldn't have hot showers in the morning as I always felt I was going to faint, nothing was ever given to me, I guess high blood pressure is the dangerous one.
