Hi!
Just got my BFP this weekend.
I got my first faint positive Friday morning with an frer, and today it's much darker (11dpo)!

Leading up to my bfp, I've had icky feeling, tiredness, dizzy spells, headaches, cramps.
Not feeling as icky as with my last pregnancy yet though!
Provisional due date of 7th January using the NHS calculator.

Come and join once you've got your bfp for January 2021, for a few pregnancy pals!

Morning lovelies, those lines all look very positive and strong to me 🤞🏻🎉💕 such a worrying time at the moment, isn’t it? Hoping to have a scan at 7+5 which will hopefully put my mind at rest.

Popcat120 · 01/05/2020 07:46

@ashworth90 I've got a scan booked at 7+5 too, seems so far away still!

All look great lines to me ladies, and can guarantee youre all still pregnant!

Sammy, how many weeks are you?
I had terrible cramps at 11 and 12 dpo, really thought my period was going to come, never did (was due yesterday and no sign!)

Hope everyone is ok symptom wise.
I'm just so tired, our hours have changed at work to 8-2 Monday to Friday, and altho it's not hard work, it tiring getting up every day!!
Otherwise feeling not too bad.

I have the feeling down below that I get just before my period comes I am so worried 😓😓 it's not crampy it's like really achy

ilovetrees30 · 01/05/2020 08:18

@whatsthecraic91 I really hope that the aches are just your little one getting comfy!

I took an IC and a frer this morning. The IC shows good progression from Wednesday and the frer was the darkest I have ever seen. My last bfps the test line never got darker than the control but the one this morning was. So told my OH and he's in the same frame of mind as me. A little bit excited a little bit nervous.

Milkshake54 · 01/05/2020 08:19

@whatsthecraic91 I have spoken to a midwife about cramps and she described it as ‘do you feel like your period is threatening?’ Which is what it was, and she said that was ok 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ashworth90 · 01/05/2020 08:35

@whatsthecraic91 I agree and hope it’s just things stretching and moving about 🤞🏻

@Popcat120 my symptoms are pretty basic. Tiredness and I experience sporadic cramping throughout the day which is like af but like only a quarter of the pain she normally brings me.

One thing on my mind is ectopic... how would we even know if we had an ectopic pregnancy? It says cramping and bleeding, but they could all be signs of any other pregnancy too 🤔

whatsthecraic91 · 01/05/2020 08:48

Oh thank you yes it defo feels like it's threatening!! I'm knicker checking every 5 seconds, the other girl in the office is like are you alright 😅 might have to tell her, it's just the 2 of us so I'm sure she could keep a secret

Cat028 · 01/05/2020 09:00

@whatsthecraic91 I was going to try YouTube. What about pregnancy yoga? Might be a good place to start. A few people seem to be suffering with cramps on the thread hopefully this is a good sign. It's so much harder to keep it a secret in work isn't it. I would have had to tell the girls I work with because we have a physical job. If you can trust her I don't see the harm. 😊

@IvoryJane congrats. Wow that does sound busy. Very exciting time though.

@MrsBlue1986 haha! We're all going to be called Corona Boomers. I can see it coming.

@SammyC8194 sorry to hear that. Hope you feel better in a day or two and everything is okay.

bluemonday2020 · 01/05/2020 09:01

I continue to feel very nauseous every morning but after eating something I am fine again. I hope that doesn’t mean I’ll get bad morning sickness later on!! I have also been sleeping very badly, waking up every day 2h earlier than my usual alarm. Feel very tired!!
On the positive side, I self referred to the the hospital close to me and on the same day they sent an electronic letter to set an appointment with a midwife on the 22nd of May. I am surprised that they are doing live appointments (and not phone ones) but I am happy to go. Have a lovely day ahead ladies xxx

Lakes10 · 01/05/2020 09:03

If anyone else has loads of those cheap ovulation strips lying around (like me) they generally show 2 lines if you are pregnant, just if the serial testers wanted to keep testing but not bankrupt themselves with pregnancy tests 😉😄

Thack19 · 01/05/2020 09:26

Morning, Just caught up on a lot of yesterday chat, it’s so relieving to hear everyone else feeling the same! I’ve had a terrible tummy again this morning, which is how I usually feel just before AF.. but I should be 5 weeks today and hoping it’s just normal? I phoned GP yesterday and the receptionist booked me in for first appointment 22nd when il be 8 weeks. I asked her what to expect did I need to take anything but she didn’t know, could any of you lovely ladies advise? It’s my first time so other than the blood test which I’m dreading lol is there anything I need to do or expect? X

Thack19 · 01/05/2020 09:27

Also I’m from County Durham, anyone else northern?

Carabu1 · 01/05/2020 09:43

@Thack19 I am the same, have been having weird stomach cramps, almost like that pre-period feeling, except I think I'm 5 weeks gone so I hope not! No blood, so just crossing my fingers it's normal. We've had so much heart ache getting this far that I really don't trust my body anymore to be doing what's meant to do and my anxiety if through the roof - none of which will be helping, I'm sure, but I can't help it!

Lakes10 · 01/05/2020 09:48

@Thack19 fellow Northerner here! Currently living in Cumbria but used to live in Durham 😊 It's generally advised to take same prenatal vitamins, there's loads on the market and a few people have mentioned some, I'm currently taking pregnacare

Skybooks · 01/05/2020 09:59

@Ashworth90 nice to see you over here.

Glad everyones lines are getting stronger.

I'm feeling fine which worries me no tiredness or nausea, but I was very Ill with my second pregnancy that unfortunately ended in loss so maybe light symptoms are a blessing.

This might be a little outing but I've been put at risk or redundancy this week so really stressed about the whole situation, so maybe I just haven't turned into the symptoms.

Thack19 · 01/05/2020 10:01

@Carabu1 keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Lakes10 how lovely! Cumbria is such a beautiful place I’m jealous! But I do love it here in Durham. I had been taking wellwoman previously which had recommended amount of folic acid but going to switch to pregnacare ASAP

Popcat120 · 01/05/2020 10:03

Ergh nausea and full ppe doesn't go very well together!!

@Ashworth90 I think the cramping would be really severe if it was ectopic

Popcat120 · 01/05/2020 10:04

@Skybooks my first pregnancy was horrendous, he's 19 months now,
So far my symptoms are really minimal this time round. It is worrying but Im told its normal for second pregnancies to be a bit easier.

gb000 · 01/05/2020 10:10

Do you guys think it's a bad sign if I DID have some nausea/tiredness/little cramps and now today I feel pretty much fine? I've read it totally varies but I just don't know if it can come and go so suddenly...

Lakes10 · 01/05/2020 10:10

@thack19 they're currently 3 for 2 in Asda 🤘🏼

Babytobe · 01/05/2020 10:13

Omg girls. Im so worried Sad
Have some pinkish dc after using the loo this morning just now.
Am so afraid.
Have sent an email off to OB to see what she suggests but not holding out much hope given the bank holiday weekend.
This is my 3rd pregnancy and hopefully first baby. Any of you ladies on your previous pregnancies experience this and then everything turned out okay?
Iv also lost all of my pg symptoms this morn it seems.

Ashworth90 · 01/05/2020 10:14

@Skybooks thank you for the suggestion 😊 turns out one of the ladies in my TTC started the thread! Happy to be around so many ladies all in the same boat!

@Thack19 I just had two boxes of pregnacare max delivered directly from Amazon for £12.95 a box. Absolute bargain. I sent the serial numbers off to Vitabiotics to check they were real and they are 😂🙌🏻 A good place to check out for good value

Ashworth90 · 01/05/2020 10:34

@Babytobe I’m so sorry. Didn’t see your message when I was replying. Do you think it could just be light spotting? 😞

Babytobe · 01/05/2020 10:51

@ashworth90 it is light and only there when I wipe. I have a friable cervix anyway but having started the cyclogest 200mgs suppositories at night I thought that was the reason I had no spotting so far.
Just panicking because I honestly thought this pregnancy was different.
Today though my boobs are completely back to normal, no tenderness at all, no nausea at all, no fatigue.
At 5+3 im not sure what any one can do for me other than hoping for the best.
Honestly dont know what to do now. Best rest or carry on as normal?

whatsthecraic91 · 01/05/2020 10:55

My cramps are gone now & I pretty much feel 100% normal. I'm worried that I haven't felt sick once!! Suppose I'm very lucky that way so far.

@Thack19 the lady on the phone yesterday told me they do the bloods & weight and height too. she didn't mention anything else
