Hi!
Just got my BFP this weekend.
I got my first faint positive Friday morning with an frer, and today it's much darker (11dpo)!

Leading up to my bfp, I've had icky feeling, tiredness, dizzy spells, headaches, cramps.
Not feeling as icky as with my last pregnancy yet though!
Provisional due date of 7th January using the NHS calculator.

Come and join once you've got your bfp for January 2021, for a few pregnancy pals!

@mrsblue1986 it's an online self Referral here,so I did That the other day and already had an appointment for booking in through end of May, I'll be 8 weeks, that's being done by telephone.
Will also need bloods done, but I work in the hospital, so I can get them done no problem.
They should give you a scan date at that appointment.

If you're unsure how it works in your area, I'd give your gp a call, the receptionists can often point you in the right direction.

I'm Taking seven seas pregnancy vitamins.
Took these last time too.
Ill attach a pic of the ones I got, got Them from amazon.

@Popcat120 I called the GP on Tuesday at 4 weeks and then had to send an email off with my details to the midwife section. I got a call the next day from a lovely midwife who has booked me in for a phone appointment at 8 weeks which she said would take about an hour and that's when they'll also book me in for the 12 week scan.

I'm using up my pregnacare conception tablets then will follow with the pregnacare max!

@Popcat120 sorry meant to be in reply to @MrsBlue1986 !

awizardshouldknowbetter · 30/04/2020 15:20

@Cat028 think there will be a lot of Netflix binging going on in this house! So hard to keep your mind off something so life changing though. Is anyone succeeding?!

whatsthecraic91 · 30/04/2020 15:23

@Cat028 oh really? The place I am booking with us letting you book a viability scan but they aren't doing any gender scans at the minute. Same here i know everything about TTC but nothing about actually being pregnant 🤣

@MrsBlue1986 oh no! Hope you're okay x

I'm quite lucky that I am still in the office at the minute so I have plenty to keep me distracted! Getting to 12 weeks feels like forever away!

whatsthecraic91 · 30/04/2020 15:25

@ilovetrees30 also another one here in the knicker checking brigade 🤣🙋🏼‍♀️

MrsBlue1986 · 30/04/2020 15:26

Ah thanks for the advice! Pregnancy seven seas... ill look into it thanks. i guess there are lots of different ones available...i guess the main ingredients is folic acid though...xx

Hi all, mind if I join in? I got my bfp on Monday at 14dpo; I tested on a gut feeling as had been having brown spotting for a few days, which I initially thought was my period coming but it never got any heavier.

I had a mc at six weeks in January so I'm super anxious, but I'm trying to stay calm. I didn't get a bfp until 19dpo then, so I think something was wrong from the start, whereas this was a nice clear second line at the right time.

Symptoms-wise, I've been weeing more frequently, feeling quite nauseous and have a strong metallic taste in my mouth. I've also got lower back ache, but at least some of that might be because I'm wfh and don't have the comfiest desk and chair set up!

awizardshouldknowbetter · 30/04/2020 15:38

@itssquidstella congratulations on your BFP! All sounds really positive!

itssquidstella · 30/04/2020 15:39

Forgot to say, I've booked a private scan for when I'll be eight weeks - I'm just hoping it sticks till then!

Due date is apparently 5th Jan :)

Cat028 · 30/04/2020 15:50

@Popcat120 totally looking forward to that bit and doing a nursery. We bought our house 4 years ago and the bedrooms seem so empty. What's your silver cross pioneer like for country walks?

@ilovetrees30 I haven't looked into any of that yet so that's definitely on my list. We have a small selection of girls and boys names we decided we liked early on.

@MrsBlue1986 sorry to hear you have tested positive. Rest up and look after yourself.

@awizardshouldknowbetter 100% the binging will be happening here too. I mainly only have iplayer and netflix atm because DH thought it would be great idea to reroute our TV cable just before lockdown and hasn't managed to fix it yet. 🙈

@whatsthecraic91 oh really? That's good to know. I might try a few more clinics in that case to see if I have any luck. Yeah, totally unknown atm. But I'm feeling happier in myself at the moment than I have in the last few years so I'm holding onto that.

@itssquidstella congrats! Plenty of us anxious lot here. Hopefully we can all get each other through.

itssquidstella · 30/04/2020 15:52

Thanks @awizardshouldknowbetter and @Cat028!

I'm trying not to stress too much as I know that's not very healthy, but I'm definitely part of the knicker-checking crew! I lost the last one (first pregnancy) at six weeks exactly so I'll be particularly anxious when I get to that point this time, I think.

Popcat120 · 30/04/2020 15:53

@Cat028 it's not very good for off road I have to admit, it's OK on flat surfaces though,.more of a town pram tbh!

MrsBlue1986 · 30/04/2020 15:55

Thanks @Cat028 !

I just did the due date.. it says 10th Jan.

It does make you worry though, whether the little thing will definitely 'stick' hope so!! Xx

Popcat120 · 30/04/2020 16:30

Please can I join? I recognise some of the ladies in here from my TTC thread! I had a BFP on Saturday and the GP has told me today I am due 3rd Jan 😊 gotta call up tomorrow to do my first appt and he has said to book for 10 weeks. First baby for us, so very much appreciate reading all the comments as I’m new to this 😂

whatsthecraic91 · 30/04/2020 16:38

I'm from County Antrim 👋🏼

Any pram recommendations that have good tyres & suspension? I live very rural so I have miles of country lanes to walk 🙂

MrsBlue1986 · 30/04/2020 16:39

@Popcat120 Hale, Cheshire xxx

Jaylou7 · 30/04/2020 16:41

ilovetrees30 · 30/04/2020 17:02

I just had a really random thought of where would I get a urine sample pot from. Normally I would have just asked the gp haha!!

Elmlee · 30/04/2020 17:02

Wirral here 😊

gb000 · 30/04/2020 17:09

London here!

Congrats @itssquidstella, that's very exciting. And I'm sorry for your previous loss 😔. This is my first BFP (4+1) and I'm also very very anxious alongside lots of people here so you're in good company!

Cat028 · 30/04/2020 17:19

@Popcat120 ah okay. That's good to know. I'm South Wales here so like @whatsthecraic91 I need one that can manage country terrain.

@itssquidstella keep positive. You got this.

Cactuslove · 30/04/2020 17:33

I'm from Bath 👋
