I had an uncharacteristic outburst and then cried over some vegetables. I've been feeling emotional for days. I know I shouldn't have tested so late in the day, but...

It came up within 5 minutes. I can't stop shaking. Jesus Christ. This is the first line after 18 months of TTC.

That's a line!! Doesn't even look that faint!! If it's past the first day of your missed period then you don't need morning wee, can test anytime.

I took another test this morning and it was a big, fat, stark negative Sad

I really enjoyed "being pregnant" yesterday but I suppose I really should have known better after 18 months of infertility. I feel so stupid. My breasts are tender and I'm bloated and having pain in the uterus so I assumed this was all implantation. I guess not!

I’m really surprised too, so sorry OP. Do you have any more tests? The first one definitely had two lines so I would try again in case one of them was defective?

I had the same thing happen this month with a frer. Was it from Amazon?

Try and wait till at least 10 or 11 dpo before you retest OP.
It's still super early and some tests are more sensitive than others.

I tested 5 days before my period was due - with a first response with the ‘works from a week before your period is due’ - definite bfn, 4 days later (ie day before period was due) it was a bfp and I am now 24 weeks. So don’t despair, it’s still really early Smile
