@MrsCl19 awwww congratulations wow that labour sounds text book and giving me hope. He’s perfect. I can’t believe your OH nearly missed it mine will be sleeping in the car because labour can be so unpredictable. Two down two to go @ceebee21. @BabyB19 I love all the girly outfits you have her in. Hope everyone’s well

BabyB19 · 01/11/2020 15:50

How are we all ladies. I can't believe we all had so many bfn's together and now 50% of our babies are here! It seemed to take forever but now she's here it's all happened so fast. Hope you're all doing well! @Jonesbabynumber1 @MrsCl19 @ceebee21 xx

@BabyB19 those months spent peeing on sticks feels like a life time ago, but it is amazing that you two have had your beautiful babies and me and @ceebee21 are getting closer each week. I’m well, baby is really giving me a beating at nice and I wonder how theres any more space left for them to grow 🙈. I am having some issues with food, i seem to be really sensitive to sugar at moment and I keep getting a funny taste after eating so I’ve told midwife she’s going to dip urine at next appointment. Finally getting the nursery together, I am finding it hard to buy nice gender neutral clothing as I’m much more fussy than I thought possible 🙂 but I can always buy more once he/she is here xx

BabyB19 · 03/11/2020 07:40

Hi @Jonesbabynumber1 glad you're feeling well. I was the same with the clothes I found hnm and next the best but as long as you've got some money aside you can literally do a next day delivery so don't worry just stick up on plain white babygrows at first. We went through quite a few plain whites the first day or two until we nailed the changing and feeding process a bit cleaner haha! You can buy dipsticks on ebay like the cheapo pregnancy tests if you're worried get some of them, no idea how to use them but I've seen people on here talk about it xx

Jonesbabynumber1 · 06/11/2020 10:32

@BabyB19 yes that’s a good idea just to buy plain white until you know size weight gender 🙈 I bought some urine dips and it all looked mostly normal. I just must be sensitive to the hormones changes and my body getting ready for labour now which is exciting and scary all at the same time. I’ve got 6 weeks left in work and that can’t come soon enough. I just want to be off sleeping, cleaning relaxing but I’m glad I’ll be off around Christmas time. my OH has a week off around Christmas too so be nice to have that time together before baby comes if he/she doesn’t come early 😅

ceebee21 · 06/11/2020 12:29

Sorry for the delay in replying!!!

All good here - have a consultant appt today and then another scan in 2 weeks, so no real update on anything. I am currently 32+6 so edging ever closer!

My last working day is 4th December and I'm not working a full week now before then, so just slowing down in general which is quite nice!

Trying to get everything organised - have started packing my bags etc and washing - a lot harder in the winter haa

MrsCl19 · 06/11/2020 14:31

Eeeeee @ceebee21 @Jonesbabynumber1 then due dates are coming up fast!

Have you looked on matalan they usually have some nice gender neutral bits

I can't believe my little squish is nearly 2 weeks 😭 I'm so emotional as I won't be having any more so Iknow everyday will be my last experience of it 😢 I took some pictures of him last week at a week old before he starts getting bit which is happening rapidly! Had his 10 day check Wednesday and he's put on 6oz already he's gunna be a chunk

@ceebee21 that’s lovely that you haven’t got long left in work. I’m in until 18th December but I’ve also cut down to a 4 day week. I am looking forward to being off. I’m 31+ 3. @MrsCl19 wow look at his feet so beautiful, I’d love a new born baby photo shoot when our baby’s here, but who knows whether that will be possible or not. It’s good that he’s putting on weight are you bottle feeding or breast feeding?

MrsCl19 · 07/11/2020 09:23

@Jonesbabynumber1 bottle feeding and he just loves his milk 🤣

If you can't get one done go on Pinterest and copy the poses that's what I do for all my pictures

How is everyone? I’m 32 weeks and the indigestion has kicked in, most at night it’s like a sharp stabbing pain! @BabyB19 can I remember you mentioned that you suffered. I’ve spoken to the gp and they’ve prescribed omeprazole and strong gaviscon. Can you remember what time you took it in the day to help?

BabyB19 · 13/11/2020 11:46

Hi @Jonesbabynumber1 I suffered terribly. The gaviscon didn't do anything for me in the end but the omeprazole made it better within a couple of days I stopped getting it t completely but knew about it If I forgot one xx

OP posts:
MrsCl19 · 13/11/2020 14:48

@Jonesbabynumber1 ohh I feel for you! I had it bad luckily the gaviscon double action tablets did work got me!

Mr AJ has just peed all over me and the bed! Boy got some height on that tinkle

Jonesbabynumber1 · 14/11/2020 15:37

@BabyB19 ahh luckily the gaviscon advance they prescribed has helped a lot but it’s good to know I’ve got the omeprazole as back up if needed. @MrsCl19 I’ve never suffered with it before it’s painful. Wow he has got some height, I’ve only ever looked after girls so if I have a boy the changing of nappies will definitely be a learning curve. I seen my sister Tuesday and she’s tested positive for covid so waiting for test results I feel well but I wanted to test for peace of mind. How you both finding it with babies and covid?

MrsCl19 · 14/11/2020 16:17

@Jonesbabynumber1 I've not found it bad as it's a good excuse for people I'm not bothered about coming round coming but my best friends haven't met him yet which is a shame 😩 probably go on some socially distance walks with them over the next week or so

BabyB19 · 14/11/2020 20:17

I've been the same as @MrsCl19 @Jonesbabynumber1 it's been a good excuse when I've needed a rest from the endless stream of visitors tbh. I'm really gutted that the classes have been cancelled as I've got her a few sensory toys and she absolutely loves them so I would have loved to get her to a class. She has only seen two other babies in her life and the first one she was too small to know what was going on so that's a bit sad too. Xx

MrsCl19 · 20/11/2020 12:07

@BabyB19 we are doing good! Baby AJ doesn't go longer than 2 hours without eating so he keeps me busy 🤣 he's suffering with colic and constipation so new milk on the trial

How are you??

BabyB19 · 20/11/2020 12:19

Aww my friends little boy is the same and she has just put him on the colic and constipation milk and he's like a different baby. 🤞🏼 you guys are the same!
We're good thank you @MrsCl19 just doing sensory time Blake is loving her fire blanket and her party light! Highly recommend getting both xx

Jonesbabynumber1 · 22/11/2020 16:29

@MrsCl19 hopefully the new milk will help, sounds like a baby that loves his milk. I bet nothing more satisfying than a baby who enjoys their milk. @BabyB19 ahh I have heard the black and white sensory boxes are great for babies.
Yes all well. Just on count down now 33+4. Googling percentage of woman who give birth early 🙈Struggling with sleep due to restless legs. Only 4 weeks left in work. I’m ready physically and mentally to finish now. Finished the baby’s nursery here’s a few photos.

Aww @Jonesbabynumber1 you still have a while to go yet lovely so try not to think too much about that stuff and just rest as much as you can. Have you tried the magnesium spray? I had terrible restless legs and it helps so so much. Got it on Amazon xx

@Jonesbabynumber1 beautiful nursery! Expect to go over like i did this time and then the bugger showed up 3 days early 🤣

Jonesbabynumber1 · 22/11/2020 19:52

@BabyB19 have you got the link? I’ll try anything to get a good night sleep. Yes I’m preparing myself to go over. I’m hoping the build up to Christmas helps the time go quickly. @MrsCl19 that must of been a nice surprise. I wonder how @ceebee21 is getting on xx
