28 weeks tomorrow! Helllooo 3rd trimester!

@BabyB19 you feeling any better?

BabyB19 · 04/08/2020 20:14

Sorry @MrsCl19 been a bit of a rough week. I'm just literally clawing my way through each day now. Really underestimated how hard the end would be.
How amazing you're in the third trimester already, yours seems to have come around fast!
Lovely scan pic @Jonesbabynumber1 try not to let your boss bother you you don't need to be stressed while pregnant. We have the opposite ours is nuts and the heart rate is constantly up 😭🤣 x

MrsCl19 · 05/08/2020 06:23

Oh @BabyB19 my heart goes out to you! Them last few weeks are so hard! ❤️

BabyB19 · 05/08/2020 06:31

Thanks @MrsCl19 I know I should just be grateful as I know I get to meet my baby soon but I wasn't aware of quite how hard id have to work for that to happen! 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️ the lack of sleep is killing me already and the bloody pelvic pain.
How are you doing? You getting all prepared? X

OP posts:
MrsCl19 · 05/08/2020 14:04

@BabyB19 the lack of sleep is a killer worse when the baby arrives but at least their born then! Keeps you occupied!

I think I've got everything you pretty much which is good as we are buying a house and move before the baby comes so hoping can get in and sorted before 🤣

BabyB19 · 05/08/2020 14:09

Omg a house move when pregnant with a small child in tow!! @MrsCl19 you're brave. How far will you be when you move?
The little sleep I'm getting I don't think it's going to be any worse tbh I'm getting 2-3 hours a lot of nights atm and like you say at least when the babies here I'll be occupied! Xx

MrsCl19 · 05/08/2020 14:35

@BabyB19 36 weeks 😩🤣 like you stay on my toes 🤣 I won't be doing much mind other than packing bits

BabyB19 · 05/08/2020 14:51

Omg I'll be on pins for you @MrsCl19 I've found it hard enough organising the house we already live in 🤣🤣🤣

MrsCl19 · 07/08/2020 06:07

so had my first midwife app Wednesday at 28w very rushed although she did check everything. Baby is measuring the 90th percentile which I knew he would be 🤣 week on Sunday is 4D scan so least I'll get a little preview at how big he actually is 😬

BabyB19 · 07/08/2020 07:46

Ohhh So maybe a bit baby then @MrsCl19 mind they're wrong a lot of the time going off them measurements aren't they. I'm really not happy with my care from my midwives etc, I've requested an appointment as I've literally been seen 3 times and all they do is dip wee, measure belly and listen to heartbeat, at no point has anyone discussed anything with me regarding the actual birth or the baby, hospital options, pain relief available, what happens if I go over due, Covid restrictions, absolutely not a sausage, and with two weeks to go Until I'm due my first I think it's pretty appalling tbh. I'm hoping she does a visit before I actually go into labour x

ceebee21 · 07/08/2020 08:28

@BabyB19 that seems rubbish, I also feel like I've been left to my own devices...considering I also have underactive thyroid, nothing has really been mentioned. Had my bloods done at 10 weeks, my next midwife appt is 25 weeks for bloods again.

Like you say being a first time mum as well literally no clue what to expect, I e what pain relief available, what rooms, can u have water birth, loads of things!

BabyB19 · 07/08/2020 08:43

I had nothing until 28 weeks @ceebee21 which I thought was bad enough but at this stage I feel like they've left me going into it blind, they haven't done anything at all to prep me and we're then going to just book me in for a sweep at 40 weeks so I was like errrmmm well when do you plan on going over everything else with me?! 🤔 I sent my own midwife (as I've seen three different ones at the three apps I have actually had) a long text with questions and I think she has shit herself about how much has actually been missed out 🙄 hopefully she gets to do a home visit before I go in! I've also just had my telephone physio consultation for the PGP absolutely pointless at this stage!
How are you all doing otherwise @MrsCl19 @Jonesbabynumber1
Quite scary/exciting but I've had really strong lower back ache and period pains for 3 days now so 🤞🏼 its a sign something is happening xx

OP posts:
MrsCl19 · 07/08/2020 08:58

@BabyB19 @ceebee21 I can tell you your care should absolutely not be like this! My first pregnancy was completely different!
I really feel for first time mums as you've lost a bit of the magic 😩

I suffered with pnd and I've raised it every time I've spoken to someone and there not interested 😩 this app she didn't even ask how I was feeling

2 weeks @BabyB19 eeeeeee!!!

BabyB19 · 07/08/2020 09:07

That's absolutely dreadful @MrsCl19 physical pain is bad enough but mental health is so much harder to treat so when you are offering up the information they should be jumping on that and making sure you're ok. You know we are always here if you start feeling that way again please at least talk to us ❤️❤️❤️

OP posts:
MrsCl19 · 08/08/2020 08:01

@BabyB19 I'm definitely better at taking about it because Iknow the signs this time, with my first they just kept telling me I had baby blues 🤣

Which is most deffo a thing! Day 3/4 hormones are crazy!!!!

BabyB19 · 08/08/2020 08:29

It's good that you recognise the signs but I imagine in the post baby dog it could still be difficult to distinguish between the two so make sure you push now for that support and keep OH in the loop too so he knows if you need support ❤️ @MrsCl19 ❤️
I had a decent sleep last night thank god and have part two of my baby shower today with all my work mates 🥰

MrsCl19 · 09/08/2020 11:39

Not been nice and round the whole time @MrsCl19
You say she? You think mines a girl? 🤣🤷🏽‍♀️ x

OP posts:
MrsCl19 · 09/08/2020 18:29

@BabyB19 I didn't even realised I'd type she maybe it's a sign 🤭🤭

BabyB19 · 09/08/2020 18:35

The midwife was saying she all through the last app and said she had a feeling it was a girl too, most people think boy so far though. OH adamant from day one it's a girl! Hopefully not long and I can tell you if you're right or not! @MrsCl19

OP posts:
MrsCl19 · 09/08/2020 19:02

I can't believe your at that point already it's so crazy! I can't wait for the message that you think your in labour or baby is here🤭 @BabyB19

BabyB19 · 09/08/2020 19:07

I've had period cramps and back ache for days now, my boobs have got a life of their own and I kept waking myself up in the night last night retching like I was going to be sick. I definitely feel like things are on the move. I've got so much pressure underneath and in my bum as well! I really hope I don't go over as I feel ready to pop! @MrsCl19 x
