Sorry been quite all. Lovely to hear @ceebee21 that your having a girl and not long to go now @BabyB19. I had a few days sickness free but it came back not as bad but there most of time, I also had the increased thirst and back pain. My body was not made for pregnancy. I had a week away in a cottage which was lovely but exhausting. I’m coming up 17 weeks and got a scan booked for Friday. Got a little more of a bump but not much as appetite still rubbish. I feel guilty that baby not getting all the good food I normally eat. People on my other group talk about movements already and all I get is cramps 🙈 I have midwife appointment tomorrow for flu and whooping cough jab as it’s recommended. some people said they got to hear heartbeat at that appointment I hope that’s the case as I’ll feel a lot better. Some people still getting sad news this late on which makes me feel more anxious. Hope your all ok.

BabyB19 · 26/07/2020 14:10

Hi @Jonesbabynumber1 hope you start to pick up soon, it was around 16+ weeks for me before first trimester stuff passed. I didn't feel anything that early it was about 22 weeks before I felt movements regularly with my placenta at the front. Don't feel bad the baby needs very little. Are you taking vitamins? They used to make me sick so I stopped then and found I could get more food down.
I'm doing my baby clothes washing today it's so real now. 27 sleeps. I have midwife tomorrow so hopefully start talking about birth plans etc.
I'm counting the days now as the pain in my hip is excruciating 😭

@BabyB19 that’s good to hear fingers crossed. I’m so jealous of those woman who fly through pregnancy. Im just lucky to have a husband that has accepted that PJs are my choice of clothing for now 😳 yes especially on your first they say movements come later. I did ask at scan and was advised placenta on back. I try and take a vitamin when I can stomach it but not often. I am managing more fruit. That’s so exciting. Is the nursery up and finished if love to see a photo. I’ve bought a cot and baby monitor as they were on offer and trying to by a big purchase once a month so doesn’t seem so costly. I haven’t bought any clothes i think so many are either boy or girl. I’m just going to do the one of each outfit like you’ve done. What outfits have you got?

BabyB19 · 26/07/2020 15:12

We've been the same with clothes, I've just made sure I've got a good bundle of white babygrows and vests in new and 0-3 for the first couple of weeks until we can have a spree. All our friends are doing cash/vouchers for places that sell clothes for our baby shower so we can buy lots when we know. I'm jealous of them women too hahah. To think we wished this ok our selves so hard and for so long 🤣 me and OH have just been watching the baby rolling around my belly though and know it's all worth it. I'll post some updates now I've just been hanging all the baby clothes and could cry 😭🥰 @Jonesbabynumber1

@BabyB19 I can’t wait to see baby move must be magical. Yes shopping when baby’s here is going to my favourite pass time. Seeing those photos made me feel all emotional too. Yes I’d love to see what you've done with nursery

MrsCl19 · 27/07/2020 07:39

@Jonesbabynumber1 lovely to hear from you! I'm not enjoying all these size affects from being pregnant at all so we are all in this together🤣

With dd I felt her moving at 17 weeks but this baby it wasn't untill at 20/21 weeks

@BabyB19 is there anything better than baby clothes on the line! Can't believe how close it is now so exciting! Are you 37 weeks now?

BabyB19 · 27/07/2020 12:13

I'm 36+1 now girls @MrsCl19 @Jonesbabynumber1 @ceebee21 just had the midwife app and all doing ok, measurements fine, heart rate still high but just within range by the skin of my teeth. She said the head is fully engaged and absolutely rigid in my pelvis not moving so that's the cause of the PGP, which weirdly makes it more bearable knowing that it's happening because I'm so close to the end now. She said make sure my bag is packed and ready to go as it's all ready just a case of when! Xx

MrsCl19 · 27/07/2020 15:54

Wee @BabyB19 how exciting!!! So close to the end! If they offer you a sweep take them up on it! It doesn't hurt just feels bizarre like someone's trying to tickle your insides 🤣

I've nearly finished my hospital bag, just incase we go into lockdown again I wanted to be prepared and make sure I have everything for the birth and the few weeks after

BabyB19 · 27/07/2020 15:56

Tickle your insides made me howl @MrsCl19 🤣🤣🤣 mines been semi packed for weeks but I hadn't washed everything yet so now I've done all that yesterday I can finish it and zip it up! I've just bought a chicco baby carrier In Lidl for £15 I'm made up. They've got the hauck travel cots as well for £25 so both grandparents are getting one to keep at theirs xx

dizzy85 · 31/07/2020 06:51

Morning all, just thought I'd pop up in this group and say a quick hello and hope your all getting on well😁 How long have you all got left to go? Has anyone decided on names yet? Xxx
@ceebee21 love your scan picture🥰

BabyB19 · 31/07/2020 09:48

Aww morning @dizzy85 sorry if you're feeling abandoned I never get notifications from the other group anymore 🤦🏽‍♀️ how are you doing? We have a couple of names we like but keep swaying and nothing definite, I think we need to see the baby 🤔

@MrsCl19 ive had ENOUGH! There is no sleep anymore. Whatever I do whatever I try. I get up every morning thinking please don't let it happen today I'm too tired to push a baby out. I'm swollen, i feel like I've been donkey kicked in the fanny the pain is unreal, and I'm furious constantly.

OP posts:
BabyB19 · 31/07/2020 09:49

@dizzy85 hi lovely to hear from you. Hope your well. I’ve got a private scan today so feeing a bit nervous. Plus my manager is being a bitch at moment hard to say what she does but we just clash. She just comes across as bitter and twisted especially with me being pregnant. @BabyB19 they say the end is the hardest part which is why I can’t even think about it 🙈. Hope everyone else is ok.

ceebee21 · 31/07/2020 11:23

@dizzy85 lovely to hear from you, I hope you are keeping well?

We have a few names!

Bonnie

BabyB19 · 31/07/2020 11:43

How's the sickness @Jonesbabynumber1 hope it's settled a bit more. Are you working from home now? Try not to rise to it you're going to be having a nice break away from work soon enough.
@ceebee21 some lovely classic names there all so pretty, I loved Ivy but OH wasn't having it 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣 same with Violet. That half way point is such a big milestone isn't it!

Have any of you thought about contraception at all yet? Now I've had such a long break away from taking the pill I really don't want to go back to it and was debating just tracking my cycle on Flo but I'm not sure I trust it and don't want to get caught again super quick! X

OP posts:
ceebee21 · 31/07/2020 15:58

Yes the family like Violet buy I'm not that keen.

I love classic names.

I had the implant before and to be honest think I will get that again - it stopped my periods completely and I didn't have to remember to take anything.... I fell pregnant as soon as it was removed as well, so don't see it causing any problems etc.

xx

Jonesbabynumber1 · 31/07/2020 16:00

@ceebee21 some beautiful names there Bonnie is a lovely name. I just keep writing more names on a list doesn’t get shorter.

@BabyB19 yes the thing is I been extra nice lately and I think that’s pissed her off more lol we just clash as people I’m very social bubbly and she’s very awkward and quite which I think bothers her. I had the copper coil before trying for about 6 years and apart from the more intense periods I loved the no hormones. I would struggle to go back to a hormone contraceptive.

I had a private scan and they don’t normally let you record but she let us record the heart beat. She said we have a very chilled baby.
