@BabyB19 saying that co-codomel knocks me out 🤣🤣🤣

Oh wow! Have you got a back up birthing partner in case?

BabyB19 · 09/07/2020 19:15

Haha then no wonder pethadine knocks your socks off! @MrsCl19 yes my mum would come with me and I have two sisters I'm really close with so I have other support, I would just be devastated if he missed it and I don't know if he came back half way through if the hospital would let me have a swap of birth partners x

@BabyB19 off course I
Completely forgot about that! If you started feeling something could you tell him and would he be able to drive straight back?

BabyB19 · 09/07/2020 20:02

We are just trying to come up with a plan because they go in the work van so if anything happened his work mate would have to come back with him otherwise he would be stuck down there! I'm sure we'll think of something and hopefully it won't come to that but I will be biting my finger nails until He is back! @MrsCl19 x

@BabyB19 bless you! Well you can always vent out your feelings to us!

BabyB19 · 12/07/2020 10:07

Aww thanks @MrsCl19 same to you!
How are we all? I am utterly utterly knackered now and not sure how I'm going to do another 6 weeks (appx) half hoping I go slightly early and half hoping it waits until after OH gets back from his last job.
How are we all doing?

@BabyB19 the sickness continues to get better which I’m relieved about. The tiredness is intense, I went for a walk yesterday got home and just collapsed in bed. I go away for a week on Friday with family to a beach cottage, but I’ve pre warned my husband I think I may struggle to do the full week so we’ve agree just to see how it goes. @BabyB19 I can’t imagine how you feel at the moment. Baby be here before you know it and fingers crossed hubby chill be there to enjoy it and support you, but good you got back up birthing partner. I still haven’t booked scan I’m hoping the longer I leave it the more rules relax the more hope I have of husband attending. I said to my husband I can’t believe next week I’ll be 4 months he said yes 5 months to go I wanted to punch him lol x

BabyB19 · 13/07/2020 10:03

Aww I'm glad the sickness is subsiding at last you will be glad that phase is over! @Jonesbabynumber1 if I can give you another bit of advice it would be to keep up with them walks, even if it's really small ones as I really let this slip half way because it was so tiring but I'm really struggling now, I walked 1.5km yesterday which is absolutely nothing is it and then I had my feet up for 3 hours to get the swelling down and ease the pain in my knees and hips. I can barely get myself up off the couch now I'm in so much pain with the joints and I know if I'd been more active it wouldn't be so bad 🤦🏽‍♀️ xx

@BabyB19 it’s such a relief to feel more normal. yes I will try but it’s so hard, now the sickness is easing I may try some home exercise safe in pregnancy. I find house work keeps me active as the minimum 😂 I’m currently trying to get my head around maternity pay 🙈 as try to save in order to make the drop easier x

MrsCl19 · 13/07/2020 11:37

@BabyB19 @Jonesbabynumber1 I've continued being active but I'm in agony after, I have found pregnancy stretches on YouTube have helped though.

Are you finding out the gender @Jonesbabynumber1

Jonesbabynumber1 · 13/07/2020 11:50

@MrsCl19 stretches sound good any favourite videos or people to search? No not finding out gender. I’ve got a feeling it’s a boy, but excited to have the surprise. Although must be nice to know what your having to be able to to buy gender specific cute clothing 🙈

Jonesbabynumber1 · 13/07/2020 12:59

Finally booked scan I’ll be 17 weeks. I found somewhere that will allow partners in. trying to explain to them that I want to book a Gender scan Without finding out gender was funny 😂.

BabyB19 · 14/07/2020 08:20

🤣🤣 So funny @Jonesbabynumber1 really @MrsCl19 maybe it would have been worse if you hadn't done any exercise Cos I swear that's what's hindered me. I managed to have a full body pregnancy massage and facial last night so I recommend researching a good one and booking one in for your final stages to get you through the last few weeks. I'm debating booking another tbh! I've got two baby shower being planned for me as well now when I'll be 37 and 38 weeks! So hopefully they will get me through to the end, I'm looking forward to having a bit of normal pregnancy stuff now for the last month!
Have you got anything planned to have a shower etc?

OP posts:
ceebee21 · 14/07/2020 16:17

Yes I am planning on a baby shower, hopefully towards the end of November.

Hopefully things are a bit more normal then, but who knows!

We plan for it to be in a local pub, but hard to plan these things at the moment

xx

MrsCl19 · 15/07/2020 18:22

@BabyB19 how exciting! My sil is having a baby shower

@ceebee21 hopefully it will be more normal by then 🤞🏼

I'm not having one I didn't with my daughter either, I tend to just go out for afternoon tea with a few close friends but wether we can do that this time is a question in itself

I have a phone call for my 25w app tomorrow going to raise about my weight 🤣 it just keeps going up and up 🤣

MrsCl19 · 19/07/2020 07:18

Morning! Just checking in hope you're all doing ok!

I went out yesterday to take some pics of my friends dogs and got bitten really badly! So praying non get infected 😩

BabyB19 · 19/07/2020 08:43

Oh no @MrsCl19 are you ok? I hope there's no lasting damage!
How is everyone. I'm really struggling now I've developed PGP this week. Literally been bed bound and my OH has had to look after me, half carrying me to the toilet/shower etc. I've been put on codiene but I can't have this past next week as it's not safe at term and been given physio exercises. I'm bloody kicking myself for not getting on the ball more I let it slip x

OP posts:
MrsCl19 · 19/07/2020 10:01

Oh @BabyB19 I really feel for you! My sil has it with my nephew and was on codine, they ended up inducing her 2w early because she couldn't stand the pain.

Have they mentioned anything like that to you?

BabyB19 · 19/07/2020 11:05

Not as yet @MrsCl19 it I see midwife again 27th so I assume we will discuss this again then. I've literally cried all week it's been horrendous I hope none you you get it. It's easing off a bit now I've got the pain under control I'm managing to get some of the exercises done but the beginning of the week was dreadful. The midwife said it's worse than labour pain apparently 😭 how are you doing? Xx

OP posts:
MrsCl19 · 19/07/2020 14:43

Bless you! I thought I'd started with spd but luckily it hasn't been too bad, only if I over do it 🤞🏼

Hope yours subsides and lets you enjoy remaining weeks!

Not enjoying the heat today! But it's better than rain I guess! I have my 4D scan on the 16th August so counting down

BabyB19 · 19/07/2020 16:37

Aww how exciting. How far will you be when you have your scan? Are you getting organised now or do you still have a lot to do?
I'm due a week after that so I may have already met my little one by then! It's getting scary close now. I'm at the stage where I'm having the odd wave of 'WHAT THE FUCK HAVE I DONE' 🤣🤣🤣 it soon passes but it it is quite overwhelming isn't it!
The good thing about the PGP is that it's shown me just how good OH will be as a dad as he has really looked after me this week 🥰

OP posts:
MrsCl19 · 19/07/2020 17:01

I think I'll be 29+4 I'm pretty sure!

Omg how crazy!! So exciting!

I've pretty much sorted with everything now, just need to buy drinks and snacks for my hospital bag and that's done.... my daughter is 2.5 and I still have that feeling on occasion 🤣🤣🤣

Had a little panic earlier I went to the toilet be cause I felt funny TMI and had a big wet patch with some brown, put a pad on and checked again and it's dry so all good 🤣

BabyB19 · 19/07/2020 17:35

Oh god don't say that I'm hoping to have everything handles 2.5 years in 🤣🤣 how is your first child about a new baby coming along?
I'm dying to know the sex now it's getting closer 🥰 xx

OP posts:
BabyB19 · 19/07/2020 17:36

Just keep an eye on it but I'm sure it's fine, again tmi but all kinds of crap comes out of you in pregnancy doesn't it! I wish I'd known that atm the beginning when my anxiety was through the roof with every little spot I had 😭🤣 x
