December 2020 babies

Hi all,

I'm jumping the gun a little with this as I'm pregnant and found out earlier than a missed period (it's 3 days away)

I had a miscarriage at the start of February so I'm terrified, but trying to be optimistic all will be okay. My lines are getting darker, which they didn't do last time.

Anyone else due in December?

@Hatepickinganame it does! This is my first so have nothing else to go on but I think a part of the insomnia for me is everything that's going on at the moment/stress. I've not actually been exhausted during the day yet, but will only be 5 weeks tomorrow!

I keep having broken sleep then wake up about 6.30 then i tend to have a half hour nap on the sofa on my lunch break 😂 working from home perks

Can I join in ? I got a faint pos today... this is my first. We weren’t particularly planning but not using anything so if it happened it happened. The only annoying thing is we were looking to buy a house prior to corona and that’s of course all stopped now...

Any ladies on here with late ovulation? I know it's guesswork until due date scans but are you going off your ovulation/conception date or your first day of last period date for working out? I didn't Ov until CD22 this cycle, so I'm either 5+0 or 3+5 depending on which date I go off. I know it's minor details but at this stage it feels like a huge time difference! 😅

@CooperLooper i think from a medical standpoint they date you from the first day of your last period. It feels super weird this time knowing exactly when we conceived though cause i didnt know that with any of my others. I had to go for dating scans as i never even knew my last period date for sure.

I did another test this morning and it’s definitely stronger than Monday’s 🤷🏻‍♀️ No idea what’s going on! The bleeding has turned brown now and the cramps are still really mild.

Trying not to get too hopeful but it seems to be sticking in there for now 🤞

@Babydance255 ah congrats, and sorry about your chemical. Fingers crossed for a happy, healthy pregnancy! I really wish i could day nap, im so tired now. Been off work since monday as im a keyworker but my company have been pretty amazing about it. And my oh is relieved im relatively safe for a while!

What pen are you using to write your dates on? All the ones I've tried don't seem to 'take'.

I'm not getting much sleep. Keep waking in the night with reflux.

That might be my problem. Don't have any official sharpies in the house. Even the permanent pens have too easily smudged.

I'm so tired. Have been waking early for over a week. Wondering whether it's worth calling the GP to check I can safely take omeprazole. I had to take one this morning. Internet says fine and I was really uncomfortable.

Morning all, just tested this morning and looks like a faint line. 3 days before AF so going to wait till the weekend before testing again!

It’s our first and only the second cycle, hence why I want to wait until AF is actually late. Going by the date of my last period, due date would be around 12th December.

Hi anyone else struggling to sleep waking up and having random dreams

@Amyjenks2 yes! I'm normally a pretty good sleeper but I've been awake several times over the last few nights, having weird dreams about people I've not seen in years!

I had terrible insomnia when pregnant with DS so absolutely dreading that coming back.

@hatepickinganame thank you, i kind of was expecting it to be a chemical as i did the test the day of AF and was sooo faint. So didn't get my hopes up. But this time I knew it was different, I just had a feelin. Did a test 3 days before AF and come up straight away & dark.

What do you do ☺️? I'm quite enjoying this working from home, especially now that I'm pregnant (I've gotten out of doing the big food shops) 😜 and hopefully when this is all over, I will be past the 12 weeks stage & had my NHS scan and be like hey everyone we're pregnant 👋🏼🥰

It’s good that it’s positive but I think by my dates it should read 2-3 by now? (I should be 4+5) 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Babydance255 I was similar in October, 11DPO bfn and only got a faint line at 14DPO so when I miscarried at 5 weeks I think it was due to late implantation, this time round a line at 9DPO and I've attached yesterday's test at 11DPO!! Can't wait to go back and be like hey all I'm pregnant! I'm also working from home thank god because I feel so tired and queasy!! X

@Babydance255 i work in food retail. It's been fun with social distancing and people really not listening to the rules, so I'm glad to be avoiding it for a little while. Gutted for my team though, don't like abandoning them in such a weird time!

@MrsB2019x i think we all make hormones at different rates so maybe your just the lower end of week two and thats why it hasnt gone to 2-3 yet? My digis should arrive this afternoon and im 4+3 so ill let you know what mine says 😊

@AliSxo this was the one I did at 10dpo then the one after that was even darker ☺️
I literally have no symptoms now, even the cramping has calmed down. But my boobs feel a lot heavier now and my nipples have gone puffy lol, hurts when going up and down the stairs with no bra on now 😂 but apart from that's it 🤷🏼‍♀️

How far gone are you now? x
