Predicting the sex of your baby?!

Has anyone got any really strong feelings about the sex of your baby? If so, what does everyone think they are having?
Ive got a strong feeling its a boy, dh thinks a girl! We find out on the 25th!!

Is it true, the shape of your tummy can show the sex of your baby? xx

We found out this time (I'm now 37 weeks) that baby is a girl. My bump is a completely different shape than it was when I had DS. I've had lots of people tell me this is a 'girl bump'.

I personally think its a load of crap about the shape of your tummy but I have friends who would disagree VERY strongly. Thought 2nd was a girl and she was, but have no idea why I thought so, just some sort of vague conviction. Its always fun to guess anyway. Good luck!

P.S. All 3 bumps the same shape - looked like a snake who had swallowed a watermelon - my friends used to make me do a 'now you see it, now you don't' routine.

I was a totally different shape with DS2, but that was because he was lying transverse!
Also, my mum claims that she carried me & my sister totally differently, so I think it's a load of rubbish!

The whole world told me I was having a boy because of my bump and I have a beautiful dd. Tis tosh, entertaining tosh, but tosh nonetheless.

I think im having a boy this time. I carried high with my dd she kicked my ribs totally sore. Whereas a carried my ds low he thought my bladder mad a execellent pillow. This one is low down but i dont know if its just a coincidence or not that I carried them different. Bump wasnt different shape though. x

I had a strong feeling about my first child and was right.. same about the one I am carrying now.

I found the Chinese predictor calculation chart for gender has never failed for myself
or friends.. weird!!

Chinese gender thing predicted that DS1 should have been a girl!

I thought this one was a girl as pregnancy has been so different to DS1 but it's a boy! My bump is simular to last time but i haven't put on as much weight and the baby has been in very different positions lying a lot lower than DS1. I've not had a girl so can't compare but my 2 pregnancies were very different with boys.

I'm 33 weeks and don't know if DP & I are having a boy or girl. However, recently I've had 2 vivid dreams where the baby was a girl. In the first one, she was HUGE and was called 'Kim' (a name DP & I hadn't chosen) and in the 2nd she was tiny.
Both my mother & DP's mother reckon we're having a girl, judging by the shape of my bump.

my 2 bumps were the complete opposite and so were movements/heartbeats and i had 2 boys

ooh I just looked it up and it predicts im having a girl - ive just sat and worked out a few friends births and they are all correct too - weird!! Well i'll let you know on the 25th!!

Mine says I'm having a boy but I'm sure I tried a slightly different one and it said I was having a girl, so don't get too hooked on it!

I'm 32 weeks and age 32 and did that test and it basically seems to say that any woman aged 32 who is pregnant will have a girl! Hmm.

I don't know what we're having.

best way is to know when baby was conceived - I admit not always easy to remember. If it happened more than 2 days prior to ovulation then it's probably a girl if very close or on day of ovulation then it's a boy. Chinese thing said it would be a boy but having used a fertility monitor I knew baby was conceived well before I ovulated so had to be a girl and...she was!

Well have just done 2 different chinese test things and one says boy and one girl. Which narrows it down considerably

I carried totally different on both pregnancies and had two boys! I did the wedding ring dangled over my tummy by a piece of string and if it swings in a circle its meant to be a girl and from side to side a boy!

I just thought I was having a girl and I was right.

One word of warning - don't fixate toooo much on what the scan tells you. A girl my dh worked with was told she was having a girl and went home and decorated her nursery top to toe in candy floss pink. And guess what...

The only time you will really really know what you've got is once you've given birth.

I don't know about the shape thing, but when I was about 11weeks I had a dream about the baby and in my dream it was a boy. And now my son is 8 months
