Has anyone got any really strong feelings about the sex of your baby? If so, what does everyone think they are having?
Ive got a strong feeling its a boy, dh thinks a girl! We find out on the 25th!!

Is it true, the shape of your tummy can show the sex of your baby? xx

I've trie this chinese predictor a few months ago and it predicted a boy, I've just tried it again now that I've had my birthday so a year older and it now says I'm having a girl, so a bit unreliable if you have your birthday whilst you are pregnant.
Dh & I have been thinking all along that it's a boy, and the only reason that I wish it is a boy (I will be happy either way as long as it's healthy)is because my mother-in-law thinks it is a girl - simply because she has told me on numerous occations now that I have definately put weight on my bum and thighs. Don't they make you feel so good about yourself!!!

CescaD - you may not know at birth. There are babies born with both bits although this is quite rare. I cannot remmeber the correct term - a friend saw one of these babies whilst trainning to be a doctor!

I was utterly convinced DS was a girl - 100%. Was SO shocked when he arrived

i wasnt sure with dd1

with dd2 i really wanted a boy and thought she would be one!

with this one think its more then likly going to be another girl, were obviously very good at making them

People keep insisting we're having a boy... apparently because I'm carrying all out front or something... however we know for a fact it's a girl. However some will still insist that I'm wrong...

... which can be a tad annoying...

Example:

A complete stranger at a bus stop last week said - "ooh you'll be having a boy" - followed by knowing smile...

Me: (smiling indulgently) "actually it's a girl"

Her: (really quite irritated) " I can assure YOU young lady it's a BOY."

!!???!!

when i was expecting my son anyone that saw me said i was having a boy as had gained no weight anywhere but bump and it stuck straight out and they were right i had ds and my friend had a more rounded bump and was having girl so maybe there is some truth in it but i'm sure there are others who were told that and it was wrong

I think 'heresfor2007' you must use the age you were when you conceived for the chinese prediction method. I found the ring and thread prediction really good with me and my friends, correct each time. Anyone else? I also had a bump like a rugby ball with my daughter and this time I'm lower and more rounded, like a football! So maybe a boy! Just a question for anyone who has had a scan but didn't want to find out the sex for sure, when the sonographer was measuring the femur and in around the genital region, should I have been able to see the female (white lines) or male (testicles/penis) genitalia?

There was a man some years ago who said he could gurantee the sex of your child.

Charged £200 , money back guaranteed if he was wrong

Made a lot of money despite being wrong in some cases........................

IME the mothers who go around complaining that they are starving all the time usually produce boys. Personally, I think they are programmed from birth to drain you of every ounce of energy you have to give them!!
