@professorastrocat - I said I'd set up a graduates group I'm tentatively on here though coz if the test at 11 is bad news I'll be back on a bus! Everything so far seems ok as the test this morning says 3 + weeks got the midwife appt tomorrow xx

Hey @Hatepickinganame 👋 lovely to see you pop in! I got a bit excited for you seeing your name in here - everything crossed this is your month 😊

Hatepickinganame · 08/03/2020 16:58

Thanks guys, fairly sure it isnt as just started getting some more pinky cm so af should be here soon enough. Didnt think we had managed it this month 😂 glad youre all doing well though!

showmethegin · 08/03/2020 17:17

Thanks @BooMamaBear!

Feels so surreal to be finally on one of these threads! Going to phone the gp tomorrow morning about a booking in appointment. It's our first so massively new at this. We exchange on our house tomorrow as well, as weeks go, rather stressful (but happy!).

How are all of the rest of you ladies doing?

Hhdxx · 08/03/2020 17:33

@Needallthesleep so happy for you xxxx glad you're feeling better XXX

I'm 6 weeks today I think?? Feel really tired.

When did everyone start getting morning sickness.? I've felt sicky but not actually been sick xxxx

Needallthesleep · 08/03/2020 17:39

@Hhdxx mine started at about 6+4, but have a friend who is at almost exactly the same stage as me and she doesn’t have any sickness at all.

When do you think you’ll have your blood test back? All sounds positive for you that you’re at 6 weeks now. Can you get an early scan at all to reassure yourself?

Hhdxx · 08/03/2020 17:54

@Needallthesleep I've just checked online and I've had them back!!!

They've more than doubled but still say abnormal? For some reason it's saying normal is less than 2???
Last Tuesday they were 6300 now they're 13800.

Needallthesleep · 08/03/2020 18:01

Do they mean that normal for a non pregnant woman is less than 2? Because doubling HCG levels is great news, and that level looks totally normal for a pregnant woman. V bizarre.

Hhdxx · 08/03/2020 18:28

@Needallthesleep that's what I'm thinking too??? Can't believe he'd put abnormal and o can see. Surely he'd know that would stress me out? Anyway I'm quite happy they've more than doubled 😁😁😁♥️

BooMamaBear · 08/03/2020 18:30

Welcome @showmethegin glad you joined us!
I had no sickness or nausea first time round this time nausea started around 6 weeks I've not actually been sick this time unlike my second time! Xx

Ah man now food is making me feel sick 😫 was my one antidote!

Welcome @showmethegin and congratulations! As you can tell we're all
Enjoying the tiredness and sickness joys (and other worries) that are the first trimester. How you feeling? When will you be moving house?

BooMamaBear · 08/03/2020 19:01

We're all just moaning about how rubbish we feel!! 😂

showmethegin · 09/03/2020 05:46

I thanks @professorastrocat it's great to hear other people are going through the same thing. I'm only 4+6 but I'm shattered and the trips for a wee are already out of control! Went before bed at 9(!) had to get up at 10:30 and 5 this morning.

How about you?

We move on 3rd April, perfect timing to get out of lugging lots of boxes 😂

Talcott2007 · 09/03/2020 10:11

Good luck on the house move @showmethegin! Really good timing for it! Definetly get others to do the moving about for you! Bizarrely we exchanged on a friday for our house and DD was induced in the Sunday... I literally left to go to the hospital from our rented flat and when I eventually left hospital I moved staight into the house! I was able to avoid all packing and unpacking!

How is everyone feeling? I Still have consistently tender breasts, achy hips at night plus I seem to be getting my a regular bout of nausea at about 10am every day

professorastrocat · 09/03/2020 10:46

@showmethegin sounds like perfect timing!

I'm just struggling on with the nausea, 3 weeks and counting of it being constant. I don't have more regular toilet trips though, I wonder if I should be having?! I also have awful greasy hair this week, and I'm spotty so I'm a right treat.
Roll on the next few weeks when we'll all be full of the joys of spring and the second trimester I'm sure we'll all be glowing 🤣 🤞

Hhdxx · 09/03/2020 12:55

Work is stressing me about at the moment 😭😭 I only feel on and off sicky. Nothing too bad. I'm 6 +1/2/3

BooMamaBear · 09/03/2020 19:29

Congrats @Lola871 -so glad you got your BFP as one of the Feb Bus OG'd xx

*OG's xx

OP posts:
Lola871 · 09/03/2020 20:08

Thanks @BooMamaBear still trying to get my head around it at the moment, doesn't feel real yet! I'm only 12dpo, I think it will feel more real if it's still positive at the end of the week!

Yes to the OG's 🤣 lovely to see everyone is doing well, even if the symptoms suck, I'm not looking forward to that bit!

professorastrocat · 09/03/2020 20:27

Ahhh yay! Congrats @Lola871 how exciting 😍

Anon87 · 10/03/2020 19:00

Had my first appointment with midwife today at GP. Low blood pressure but nothing she's worrying about. Hospital appointment booked for 16/4 so I'll be 10&1/2 weeks. Hopefully that won't leave me waiting too long for the scan appointment.

Had my first Nanna nap this afternoon 👵🏼 Woke up starving and sickly 😂 No winning.

Hhdxx · 10/03/2020 19:22

I'm soooooo exhausted!!! Anyone else with me?xxxx

professorastrocat · 10/03/2020 19:27

Glad it went well @Anon87 haha, nanna nap! 😄

@Hhdxx I literally just came on to say i really look forward to going to bed at the end of the day, anyone else! So yeah with you on the knackered front!

Lola871 · 10/03/2020 20:09

Still positive today, unfortunately I've got a horrible cold and can't take anything for it, definite downside!

When did you guys start to feel nauseous? I've been getting little waves of it after eating but that happens to me sometimes anyway so don't think it's really a symptom.

Anon87 · 10/03/2020 20:42

@professorastrocat Was only meant to be about half hour at 2.30ish, kitty woke me up at 4.45! 👵🏼👵🏼

@Lola871 I got little waves about 4ish week. Just snacked more in work, took more fruit in and had fig rolls instead of a twix lol. This week it's kicking in a bit more and feeling a bit sick after food but still not being sick so I'll take it

professorastrocat · 10/03/2020 21:06

It varies so much for everyone, I've had constant nausea since week 5. With my first I had nothing 🤷‍♀️ @Lola871
