When did you get stretch marks?

The title says it all really.

30+4 weeks and don’t have any. I don’t have a particularly big bump though.
Does the bump grow massively from now until 40 weeks?
Measuring spot on so I know that’s not an issue. Just not got a huge bump! Got one for sure but not big by any means. Is this maybe why I don’t have any?
Anyone willing to share their experience?

It’s just genetics really

I didn't get any at all, in three pregnancies. It's the luck of the genetic lottery.

With both my pregnancies I got them in the last two weeks! Thought I'd escaped mark free, I was so close!

At 39 bloody weeks

I mainly got them with my first. I thought I was one of the lucky ones to escape without a single stretch mark at the 37 week mark but bang on 38 weeks I got loads on the underside of my bump that I could only see in the mirror!

None until the last 4 weeks. My mother only had premmie babies and never got any.

31 weeks here and they haven't turned up yet. But my bump has been itchy and sensitive lately which I guess means the skin is really starting to stretch and they'll be here shortly. I have heard tell of people whose stretch marks arrived after the baby did, so I'm not feeling too optimistic yet.

Two pregnancies. 42wks and 40wks. No stretch marks ever.

About 28 weeks and only up to just below my belly button. They’ve faded now. I slathered my skin in bio oil from the word go, I bathed in it, I used it all the time!

Luck of the draw I think.

22 weeks i got my first, then nothing until about 28 and now i'm covered in them! 38 weeks now and starting to get them on my hips also

Didn't get any. I was expecting them as both my dm and dsis got them.. quite chuffed tbh.

Two large bumps. Second went to 42 weeks. No stretch marks.

First pregnancy - none, second pregnancy - I can't say I ever noticed them during but afterwards they were very apparent. This pregnancy, am currently 30 weeks and no new ones as yet.

I got my only stretch marks about 3 days after giving birth (at 40+12). Sorry! They weren’t bad at all though and have almost totally faded 4 months on.

None with DC1, got them at 40+2 with DC2, and got new ones at about 39 weeks with DC3.

On my hips with dc1, stomach with dc2 and none with dc3. Dc 3 was the biggest baby I used cream on all of them, nuxe oil on the last pregnancy but I’m not sure if it was that or the fact my skin had already stretched

When I went overdue. Pretty much all came in the last week. I got stretch marks on my hips and boobs during puberty and have v pale easily marked skin so was very much expecting it. There is one really bad one about an inch wide and 4 inches long that annoys me a little but the rest have faded.

Think I was 35 weeks, soooooo annoying

None either on three pregnancies. Don't think it's genetic as my sisters have loads from puberty and pregnancy and I have none. I used bio oil every 2 or 3 days from 20 weeks. I used it to relieve the itching as well as stretch marks.

I got a bunch around 24 ish weeks (I think) and loads more after. I'm covered now 🤷🏻‍♀️ due in two weeks. Given up caring 😆

3 days before I gave birth.

Last two weeks, and I was 10 days overdue. They've faded though - you can only see them in very bright light.
