Do you all have a nickname for your baby? I'm 6 weeks 4 days and I feel like I need to give the baby a nickname soon 🥰

DS1 was Peanut
DS2 was Squidge (because my tummy was squidgy when my bump popped)
DS2 is six now. He still gets called Squidge.

Congratulations!

Pickle. Even though he’s now A 10 month old bruiser, it’s quite funny looking back. Congratulations and good luck! Sleep as much as you can now xx

Twiglet.
My nephew asked if I was 'having twiglets' when I was expecting. He meant triplets Hmm

Nope, just fat. But thanks for the confidence lad.

GrumpyHoonMain · 08/11/2019 00:19

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 08/11/2019 00:38

Fred. No idea why, DH came up with it and it just stuck!

kittensarecute · 08/11/2019 00:52

My DB and DSIL called theirs Squiglet, no idea why ☺

Courtney555 · 08/11/2019 01:16

DS was little bean.

Pregnant this time round, so sick I thought I was dying, so we joked it must be triplets, "Mary, Mungo and Midge".

It's twins. That'll learn me.

DM and DGM call them ping and pong.

fonxey · 08/11/2019 06:08

Blasto (from the word Blastocyst).

When she's born it'll be Blast-off! Hehe.

BabyMoonPie · 08/11/2019 06:19

Bean. She's nearly 3 and is still called Beanie. Congratulations on your pregnancy

amylou8 · 08/11/2019 06:30

DS2 was going to be called Poppy if he was a girl, we didn't find out the sex beforehand, so bump was called Pops. It's sort of stuck...Pops is 19 next week 😂

chrissiexxx · 08/11/2019 06:49

We call it bambino, just something that stuck. Our first was called mini and I later found out the name Minnie means desired child, which fitted after years of trying and ivf. Didn't feel right when found out was a boy so changed to our Wee Man (It's a NI thing to say)

Bubs 💙

Tableclothing · 08/11/2019 07:16

"the bairn" usually.
"Your daughter" to DH when I am finding pregnancy a bit wearing.

Thatsanicepear · 08/11/2019 07:42

Junior.

FilthyPout · 08/11/2019 08:19

DS was dinky, that started about half way through because he was sitting on the 9th centile on all my scans. Hes 4 now and still called dinky.
Pregnant again now. Only 13 weeks but this ones bee or bumble bee. Because the first time I felt brave enough to check a pregnancy app the size comparison said baby was the size of a honey bee. Its stuck for now!
