Nothing Showing on Ultrasound

Help! According to my LMP (04/10/19) I should be 4 weeks & 5 days pregnant. I had some pain so I went for a scan today, nothing at all showed up on a scan. My HCG levels are at 435 and they are repeating my bloods in 48 hours. Any advice? Confused

Hey so i had a scan and they saw a sac!!! SmileGrin
So no ectopic and I have a re scan in two weeks!!!

@emzyemz85 ah great! So happy for you! HCG came back over double just under 1100. Booked in for 2 weeks for a scan Smile xx

I had a scan and they saw nothing. I’m going back Monday for another scan. I should be 7+3 by Monday (according to my last period) however EPAU are saying I may be 2 weeks behind. How can I be 2 weeks behind? I’m so confused!

@emzyemz85 have you had a scan with your hcg level at 1100? How far along are you? I’m due a scan Monday and my hcg levels are low!

@emzyemz85 EPAU are expecting my levels to be around 1500 by Monday (if they have risen as predicted). I’m really hoping they have and hope they can see something!

They sound the sac in my womb! Only measuring 1.3mm though so they’ve said I’m no more than 5 weeks which doesn’t add up with my dates! Back in 2 weeks for another scan to check it’s growing.

@emzyemz85 thanks. I did start bleeding last night though... this morning I had the worse cramps and pains I’ve ever experienced!!! I don’t know if I’m having a miscarriage or something has been irritated yesterday from the internal scan but it’s been awful. I’ve managed on paracetamol with a hot water bottle... EPAU won’t scan me any sooner and have said if it continues or gets worse then I can go in to be examined. The pain has lightened up and so has the bleeding.

@emzyemz85 I’m still here and still bleeding! I’ve spoken to EPAU again today but because I’m not filling pads, in pain or losing clots they won’t see me any sooner. I don’t see how I can bleed consistently and still have a viable pregnancy. I’ve been bleeding for 10 days now!

@thirteen92 there is another thread on here where someone had really heavy bleeding and went for a scan yesterday and they are 7 weeks. Bleed is outside the sack.

I would just go to a&e then they have to do something! If your worried just go and see someone!

I really hope all will be ok and sending you all the luck in the world. Stay positive and just keep on at people. Remember it's your body and if your worried they should not be submissive zzz

@thirteen92 have they done any more pregnancy tests or have you? Bleeding can be normal, I had a heavy bleed at 7 weeks with clots and everything but that stopped the same day.I don't think bleeding consistently for 10 days is normal imho, I think they are reluctant to check on you again because there is nothing that can be done to save the pregnancy should it not be working out at this stage! As the PP said, if you are worried then perhaps visit an A+E and they should hopefully sort something.

I'm a bit worried. Guess I just need to know if it's kinda normal... My HCG levels were 761.5 on Monday and 917 on Friday. I don't have any cramps or spotting. Doc asked for another blood test on Sunday. I don't know what to expect. This is my second pregnancy, I don't have any of the symptoms I had with my first. Dr concern it might be a miscarriage. I'm not sure what to look out for 🥺
