Pretty much what the subject says! I’ve been looking at SO many of these threads so decided to make my own.

I found out yesterday I am pregnant! I did do an eBay cheapie 9dpo in the evening and could swear I saw a line. OH said I was crazy and imagining it but Obviously not! I then did another eBay cheapie at about 3:30pm yesterday, that came up with a faint line so we went and got some FRER, I held my wee for 4 hours and did it around 9:30pm, sure enough, a decent positive line. I’ve also done a clear blue digi this morning about 5am that came up “pregnant 1-2”. Doesn’t seem real at all, I have a midwife appointment tomorrow?! I’m sure it will feel real then.

Did anyone not really have many symptoms?

The only symptoms I have was a bleed after sex on 6dpo, my cervix went from low to high at around 8dpo. My gums are inflamed and bleed like crazy when I brush my teeth. My boobs were sore last cycle before my period but haven’t been sore at all this cycle. I have irregular cycles and didn’t ovulate until cd31 this cycle, confirmed with opk & cm. I don’t really get much ewcm so we did use pre-seed. Anyone else due date early July?

@Lgxo @Rutheroot
Just back from the doctor who was lovely. She said that my cramping without any other symptoms ie bleeding is probably just my body's confusion at being pregnant for the first time, she said particularly around when AF would have been due this can happen, which makes sense as these were the worst on Saturday when I expected AF. She said I could even get these next month around AF time too. She said if I have any other symptoms ie bleeding to just go straight to a&e but at the moment it's best to just do nothing and let things run their course.

Other than that she's sent off my referral so I'll hear from the midwife soon, which makes this whole thing seem so real! Also got my first 'congratulations' which was nice :-)

Hope that puts your mind at rest @Rutheroot

One thing I forgot to ask is whether I should get the flu jab. I've never had it before, assume I should get it?

@toomuchteaandcake

Aww brill. So glad you got the reassurance. Makes it feel real doesn’t it! I came home to a letter from the hospital for a telephone appointment on Wednesday. Wonder what they’ll say/ask.

And I’ve booked in for my flu jab tomorrow morning. You should definitely get it. It’s free when you’re pregnant too!

Oh even better! I will get booked in then :-)

Oooh a letter, feel like so many normal things like that will be exciting now!

Rutheroot · 28/10/2019 15:59

@toomuchteaandcake thank you so much for sharing, that is what I thought but very comforting to hear it from a doctor (even if it's not mine lol). Never heard of it being connected to what would have been period time, interesting.

So exciting! Nice to say it tell someone and get a congrats, every time I've said 'I'm pregnant' so far it has sounded so weird coming out my mouth! I really starting to think it wasn't going to happen naturally.

toomuchteaandcake · 28/10/2019 16:17

@Rutheroot have you been trying for long? I always thought I would struggle as I could never picture myself pregnant, Sod's law I fall pregnant the first month of trying!

Rutheroot · 28/10/2019 16:24

@toomuchteaandcake yeah, a year (I'm 37 and husband had some potential sperm issues). I cannot imagine myself pregnant at all either, seems like something that happens to other people.

Wow straight away, amazing!

toomuchteaandcake · 28/10/2019 18:13

@Rutheroot aw congrats then!

Yes... OH is still in shock!
