Pretty much what the subject says! I’ve been looking at SO many of these threads so decided to make my own.

I found out yesterday I am pregnant! I did do an eBay cheapie 9dpo in the evening and could swear I saw a line. OH said I was crazy and imagining it but Obviously not! I then did another eBay cheapie at about 3:30pm yesterday, that came up with a faint line so we went and got some FRER, I held my wee for 4 hours and did it around 9:30pm, sure enough, a decent positive line. I’ve also done a clear blue digi this morning about 5am that came up “pregnant 1-2”. Doesn’t seem real at all, I have a midwife appointment tomorrow?! I’m sure it will feel real then.

Did anyone not really have many symptoms?

The only symptoms I have was a bleed after sex on 6dpo, my cervix went from low to high at around 8dpo. My gums are inflamed and bleed like crazy when I brush my teeth. My boobs were sore last cycle before my period but haven’t been sore at all this cycle. I have irregular cycles and didn’t ovulate until cd31 this cycle, confirmed with opk & cm. I don’t really get much ewcm so we did use pre-seed. Anyone else due date early July?

Don’t suppose anyone has any thoughts on my GP question perchance?

Congratulations everyone! Such an exciting but anxious time!

Lgxo · 27/10/2019 12:04

@Rutheroot

So sorry lovely! I completely missed your message.

I know a lot of people have called their GP but they haven’t got an appointment to see the midwife until their 8 weeks or so. I saw my midwife two days after I found out but only for a hospital referral. I had no tests or anything. They didn’t even take a pregnancy test to make sure I was pregnant haha. I think get the ball rolling with changing you GP, but maybe go in to the doctors and let them know you’re pregnant whilst asking for the forms you need etc. They may be quicker with getting you changed over as your pregnant. Just make sure you’re taking folic acid & vitamin D, that’s all the midwife told me at my appointment ❤️

Am I too late to join the party?! I got my first BFP yesterday but was very faint. Got my decent one this morning with a FRER. Ovia says I’m 3+2 but I think I’m more like 2 weeks today. Due 10th July first baby :)
I have no symptoms at all and I’m really scared it’s not going to stick!

Lgxo · 27/10/2019 14:42

@LazyDogFox

Hey! Congrats mama!

And it’s very confusing how they work it out, they basically go off your last menstrual period. They’ve dated me 2 weeks ahead than I actually am, but I have long cycles. So I didn’t get a positive opk until cd30. So I’m 4+3 today, but only conceived 2 weeks and 3 days ago, it’s all so confusing haha.

And I’ve got no symptoms lovely. No sore boobs or anything. I just go from constipated to having a dodgy tummy every few days and I have cramps every now & then. Other than that, I don’t feel pregnant at all!

@lgxo thank you!

Yeah it’s very confusing - the first day of my last period was 4th October so they’ve taken that as the start of my pregnancy?! Confusing. At least I’m not the only one who finds it confusing 😂

Is this your first baby?

Helena112 · 27/10/2019 16:25

Hi everyone! Congratulations on the BFP! Please can I join in ?! I'm 4+2, and due around the 4th of July 2020. I'm extremely nervous as last January we suffered a MMC. We used the fertility drug Clomid to conceive this time and are being monitored by the early pregnancy unit. No symptoms yet other than I could sleep forever, and my nipples are so sensitive!! Trying to stay positive so following your story's would be really helpful Smile I have my early scan on the 12th of November so counting down the days! xxx

LazyDogFox · 27/10/2019 16:41

I noticed you e set up a WhatsApp... would I be welcome to join you all?

Lgxo · 27/10/2019 16:46

@LazyDogFox

It is so confusing. I’m kinda glad they’ve dated me two weeks ahead than I actually am though, cause hopefully that means I’ll get seen to earlier?! And yes it’s my first pregnancy. You?

@Helena112

Congratulations! I’m due 2nd July, so you’re not far behind! I’m 4+3 today. So sorry to hear about your miscarriage, you just have to remember that every pregnancy is different and this one is your little miracle! It’s good that you’re being monitored, gives you that extra assurance that’s needed. I’ve got a private scan booked in for the day after you! I’ll be interested to hear how yours goes! Xx

@Lgxo I think I’ve pm-d you! Let me know if you don’t get it.

Congratulations @Helena112! I know it must be hard to have been through that. But try to relax, fingers crossed this time it all hoes smoothly.

Helena112 · 27/10/2019 18:49

@Lgxo no need to apologise! That is a good point about telling new surgery I'm pregnant for potential speed, thank you. I'm only slightly thinking I should see someone now because I've had a constant dull womb ache and back ache for the last two weeks, which no matter how much the internet says is probably normal slightly concerns me! No bleeding though so hopefully all is fine.

I hope everything goes smoothly for you and everyone here!

Lgxo · 28/10/2019 10:55

@Rutheroot

Aww bless you. It’s horrible being so worried every minute of every day! I randomly get pains but then they pass, maybe twice or three times a day. But everyone is different. If you’re really concerned, maybe google the early pregnancy unit telephone number for your local hospital? They might be able to give you some reassurance over the phone.

OP posts:
toomuchteaandcake · 28/10/2019 11:57

@Rutheroot I'm having the same! I'm 4+5 and have had these pains for 10 days now, ovary pain, mid pelvic pain, pressure and now even hip pain. I'm just hoping it is hormones/stretching but managed to get doc appt for this afternoon so at least feel like I'm doing something

Rutheroot · 28/10/2019 12:21

@toomuchteaandcake yeah exactly the same and I'm also 4+5! Let me know what the GP says if you don't mind, it's so difficult to get an appointment at my surgery.

toomuchteaandcake · 28/10/2019 12:37

@Rutheroot I definitely will. It's tough at mine too, when I didn't get through in the phone this morning I stomped off down there and demanded they see me!
