Pretty much what the subject says! I’ve been looking at SO many of these threads so decided to make my own.

I found out yesterday I am pregnant! I did do an eBay cheapie 9dpo in the evening and could swear I saw a line. OH said I was crazy and imagining it but Obviously not! I then did another eBay cheapie at about 3:30pm yesterday, that came up with a faint line so we went and got some FRER, I held my wee for 4 hours and did it around 9:30pm, sure enough, a decent positive line. I’ve also done a clear blue digi this morning about 5am that came up “pregnant 1-2”. Doesn’t seem real at all, I have a midwife appointment tomorrow?! I’m sure it will feel real then.

Did anyone not really have many symptoms?

The only symptoms I have was a bleed after sex on 6dpo, my cervix went from low to high at around 8dpo. My gums are inflamed and bleed like crazy when I brush my teeth. My boobs were sore last cycle before my period but haven’t been sore at all this cycle. I have irregular cycles and didn’t ovulate until cd31 this cycle, confirmed with opk & cm. I don’t really get much ewcm so we did use pre-seed. Anyone else due date early July?

@CoffeeAndCarbs

Hi lovely!!

I feel great! I told my mum yesterday haha. I made her a cupcake that said “nan” on it- having a bakery means cute reveals haha. She nearly cried!

And I did manage to get a couple of digis! The last pack! It was fate. I took one mid-day, probably held my wee for 2.5-3 hours? And it came up 2-3! Wooo! So happy.

I’ve booked in for my flu jab Monday. I hate needs but suppose it’s a taster of what’s to come!

@TTC1993

Yay! Congrats!! Honestly those tests are more sensitive than I thought! And they’ve been spot on for me. It came up pregnant 1-2 for me 11dpo with morning wee. I bet if you hold for a few hours it will come up! Isn’t it crazy that a digital test makes it more real than seeing those two lines! Hah

@Lgxo AAAAAAAAGH, that's great that you got your 2-3. It's such a good feeling seeing it progress 🤩 that's such a cute way to tell your mum ❤️ I bet she was over the moon!!! I can't wait to tell mine as it'll be her first grandchild 🥰 my 12 week scan is also a week before her 60th birthday so I'm going to get her a card that says 'Happy Birthday Granny'. I can't wait x

Lgxo · 24/10/2019 18:57

@CoffeeAndCarbs I know! I’m only 4 weeks exactly today so little shocked it came up! I must have decent HCG levels. Fingers crossed!

Great that your results came back but a shame they didn’t test HCG! Amazing that you’ve got your dates. I’m all booked in for 13th November for my early scan! I’ll be 6+6 then, so hopefully they can detect heartbeat.

@lgxo omg That is sooo sweet the way you told you mum ❤️ What do the 2-3 mean on your tests?
@CoffeeAndCarbs that is so cute - my parents both know and the knew last time we wanted to wait to tell people for a while this time.. just so scary
I was looking at Pinterest and some of the announcements at Xmas time are sooo cute ❤️🙏🏻🌈😍 we are hoping and praying they we will be one of them !
I am
So excited for you both !!

I am def nervous about tomorrow blood tests
I’ll be 5+4

I started having breast pain today.. have you guys had many symptoms this week??

EPSpartyof3 · 24/10/2019 20:49

@CoffeeAndCarbs with the flu jab I don’t think I am going to get it ... I know it’s scary taking that chance but my hope is that I take all the vitamins I need along with good healthy food hopefully i will be ok? Do you guys all get that done?

Lauren3118 · 24/10/2019 20:56

Hi, hope you don't mind me jumping on, I found out yesterday and confirmed with 3 more tests today 🙌 I'm 4w 4days according to calculations x

Lgxo · 24/10/2019 21:41

@EPSpartyof3

The digital tests measure your “rough” HCG levels. So 2-3 weeks is from when you conceived. So mine is spot on as I’m 4 weeks today so I conceived 2 weeks ago. So I got a “pregnant 1-2” on Monday, I then used one today just to see if my levels have gone up. Hope that makes sense!

And thank you! I’m going to do it for the whole family. I’ve got great grandparents myself so trying to squeeze “great great grandma” on a cupcake is going to be fun haha.

I’ve not had any symptoms really apart from I’ve not been to the toilet for a few days. I went from not going to going to not going again. Going to buy a load of fruit tomorrow and snack on it throughout the day, hopefully that will help haha.

Ahh, you’re nearly 6 weeks! Is that when the fun is supposed to begin?! My boobs as have been fine, they tingled for a little bit earlier but nothing else.

Hello!

Congrats 🥳 How are you feeling?

Lauren3118 · 24/10/2019 21:47

@lgxo - I feel awful, headaches, backache, cramps, soooo tired 💤 lol
It's been 7 years and i had forgot pregnancy made you feel so crap 😂

Lgxo · 24/10/2019 21:55

@Lauren3118

Oh no!! I feel lucky then. I’m a little more tired than usual but not that noticeable. I’m just constipated. But don’t feel like I need to go! This is my first so I have no experience 😂

I’m also called Lauren too btw! Just thought I’d let you know! Haha.

CoffeeAndCarbs · 25/10/2019 08:50

@Lauren3118 Congratulations!

@TTC1993 Woo-hoo, seems more real when you see the word 'pregnant' on a digital doesn't it?!

@Lgxo you are so lucky to still have great grandparents in your life 😍 I lost my very much loved granny 5 months ago and I am so sad that she will never get to meet her great grandchild 🥺 she would have been SO excited!

@EPSpartyof3 we get offered and advised to have the flu jab here but it's not compulsory, we have the right to refuse it. I didn't want to take any chances though. Scotland can be a very cold place in the winter.

I'm 5+3 today so just a day behind you 😊 not really feeling many symptoms yet thankfully. I'm really hoping that I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't get any morning sickness 🤞🏼 best of luck with your blood tests. Will they do a beta test to check your HCG levels? X

Lgxo · 25/10/2019 09:06

@TTC1993

Yay!! How exciting. I wish those digital tests last forever though and the words don’t disappear after 24 hours 🙃

@CoffeeAndCarbs and I know. So, so lucky. They are 90 & 91- still living in their own home and will be married 70 years next year! How insane.

Well my constipation has well & truly disappeared. I’ve a bad stomach now 😫 Wish it would make its mind up!

Also, I know I probably shouldn’t. But I woke up this morning and felt quite wet, obviously got worried and felt for blood. No blood, just lots of CM, but I could feel my cervix. It was so low! My cervix went high about 8dpo, seems to have just dropped now. Anyone else feel their cervix?

OP posts:
CoffeeAndCarbs · 25/10/2019 09:28

@Lgxo That's amazing about your great grandparent! I love that ❤️

I swing between constipation and a dodgy belly too 🙈 also felt wet with loads of CM over the past few days so you're not alone.

I don't check my cervix (wouldn't know what I was feeling for to be honest) lol. I see loads of people say about their cervix being 'high, soft and closed' or 'low and firm', etc. I have no idea what what any of that means. As long as I am not having any pains or bleeding, I'm taking it that everything is progressing as it should 🤞🏼 x

Lgxo · 25/10/2019 11:10

@CoffeeAndCarbs

It’s probably best you don’t as I’ve got myself all worked up now because my cervix is much lower. There’s nothing online about it really other than “your cervix should be high, soft & closed” when pregnant. I did just read an article though from a woman who went to the doctors at 4 weeks pregnant and they told her the cervix should be “long” at this stage, which I’m guessing is what mine is like. OH shouted at me saying “should you really be messing with it”. Which is fair. I’m going to stop. No bleeding & no cramping so everything is as it should be. Fingers crossed!

Do you have any weekend plans?

Peaceandloves · 25/10/2019 13:30

Hello please can I join. I just tested positive this morning and think I am about 12dpo. I am so shocked as its our first month TTC. I'm made up but similarly terrified in case anything happens and it's chemical. Is anyone else anxious as well as excited or am I being daft? X

Lauren3118 · 25/10/2019 14:12

@Peaceandloves congrats
I'm the same I found out with first test on Tuesday - still done 2 more tests today so scared so I booked a early scan for 2 weeks time to make sure everything's ok, try and relax xx

Peaceandloves · 25/10/2019 14:25

@Lauren3118 thanks love. How do I go about sorting a scan and how much was it?

Lauren3118 · 25/10/2019 14:29

@Peaceandloves I've gone through a private clinic near where I live .. it's £50 but would rather pay that and be reassured everything's ok, I've lost 2 previous so need a bit more reassurance xx

CoffeeAndCarbs · 25/10/2019 15:28

@Peaceandloves Congratulations!

@Lgxo I'm sure everything is absolutely fine 👍🏼 I've started to feel sick today 🤢 really hoping it's a one off and not a sign of things to come 🙈
Luckily I'm at home as was waiting on my new washing machine being delivered 😂
I don't have any plans this weekend which great as the last 3 weekends in a row we have been away so it'll be nice to just be lazy and chill (especially if I'm feeling shitty).

Are you working this weekend? X

Rutheroot · 25/10/2019 16:15

Me too! Confirmed via test on Monday. It's my first and was a while coming and I can't believe it! Still in shock and anxious something will go wrong.

I need to change my GP as I moved a while ago, I assume it's not urgent to see a doctor unless you have any health issues etc?! I don't know whether to see my current GP for speed but then move which might cause confusion (different county), or wait until I have a new GP but that might be at least a few weeks. Anyone any idea? I have no clue about anything lol.

Rutheroot · 25/10/2019 16:17

Forgot to say I'm 4 weeks I think and have very sore boobs and an almost constant slight dull ache which the internet tells me is the womb stretching etc but is still making me paranoid! Also very tired but that's normal for me lol.
