Anyone else really struggling? 33 weeks today and so bloody down all the time. I can't sleep, I've got SPD on top of my spinal arthritis, I'm uncomfortable 24/7, I'm not able to do anything fun anymore and I spend all of my time either at work, doing chores or sitting at home alone whilst DH is at work. Really wanted to enjoy the last weeks before baby arrives but I'm blooding hating it Sad

@Andersonx3- I was about to write something very similar myself this morning. I’m 31 weeks and I’m SO IRRITABLE! Everything annoys me! I was worried about movements this morning as he wasn’t his usual active self so I got up made myself a drink and breakfast (luckily he started to kick then) but then I burst into tears and said to my Husband I’m soooooo tired!!! Pregnancy is so hard... December cannot come quick enough! X

Andersonx3 · 12/10/2019 12:23

@Kate3150 it's hard work isn't it! I've had an awful week, I was in MAU for reduced movements on Tuesday so I know how you feel! I just want her here now, I want the busy, non stop back in my life! Don't get me wrong, I'm so grateful to be pregnant but I am so done with it now!!

@Andersonx3- I’m absolutely the same! Love my little man to absolute pieces and am SO grateful to be carrying him but it’s still hard every day.
Me and my hubby went for a meal last night, I was so looking forward to it and we did have a nice time. But I felt so full after the meal I had to wrap the dinner up quick to go for a walk and get some fresh air 😂. When’s your due date? I’m having an elective c section in December... starting to think about the realities of that now 😬... not too worried about the procedure itself just the recovery x

Andersonx3 · 12/10/2019 14:13

@Kate3150 oh bless you, after meal times are the worst aren't they! I'm due November 30th, I'm down for a natural labour & birth but epidural on arrival at hospital because of my back, so I'm taking plenty of reading material with me to keep me amused!

I'll be 33 weeks on Monday and I'm so so fed up. I've got a two year old and four year old that I literally have no energy for, I'm short tempered and grumpy with everyone because I'm tired and uncomfortable and I just want to speed time up!!

mistermagpie · 12/10/2019 14:38

I've also had a shit week, was in MAU earlier in the week for bleeding (had a scan, all ok) and my youngest son is currently at A&E with his dad because he ate a tube of toothpaste. He's fine, in case you think I'm being heartless but NHS24 insisted he was seen by a Dr and minor injuries won't see him because he's under 5.

Andersonx3 · 12/10/2019 15:00

@mistermagpie oh what a week! The comment about your son made me laugh once I knew he was okay! HaloGrin glad I'm not the only one feeling this way!!

Thank you @Andersonx3 for this space to have a moan. 31 weeks with twins. Can't move for feeling exhausted or sick. Every time I bend over acid comes up. Throwing up again like morning sickness but on and off all day. I cried this morning because I washed my hair and didn't have the energy to dry it. My mil has taken my youngest out again today because the sum total of my parenting ability is to select videos on YouTube SadSadSad

mistermagpie · 12/10/2019 17:09

Oh twins! You win. One baby in there already makes me feel like I can't do anything, god help you with two.

I actually can't believe I've got another 7 or so weeks to go, I'm probably going to kill someone by the end of this!

fonxey · 12/10/2019 17:20

31 weeks and miserable too! Use feed up of not being able to move our do anything. My work is hard as it is a lot of standing or getting up and down all the thine. And you have to be awake not falling asleep. I feel like i can't do much.

Ufh and 8 weeks and 6 days to go... Or 10 weeks for all i know. Uuufgghhh!

nopenotplaying · 12/10/2019 18:00

Ha ha @mistermagpie having had 3 other pregnancies I can assure you this is THE most challenging! I'm seriously counting days and weeks now thinking if they arrive now it wouldn't be so risky etc. Think anytime from 35 weeks I'd be good with, before then I need to pack moaning as they are in the safest place for sure!

mistermagpie · 12/10/2019 19:40

My other two children came at 38 and 39 weeks exactly, so I'm kind of hoping I might only have 5-6 weeks left but I bet this one is two weeks late!

A twin pregnancy when you have other kids is no joke, you must be knackered!

Andersonx3 · 13/10/2019 07:04

Please everyone use this thread as a moan if you need to! I know I'll be back on it tomorrow after an inevitable bad nights sleep and an uncomfortable day at work! Haha we got this 💪🏼

Funny how we are all of similar gestation, there must be something about the 30's!!!

fonxey · 13/10/2019 20:49

Yes, it's the 3rd trimester! I kept hearing how crap it would be and i thought hey this isn't too bad, is bearable!

Hello 31 weeks, i hate you! Can't breath, feel utterly knackered i mean i am so tired i am not even able to speak.

mistermagpie · 13/10/2019 21:41

Third trimester is definitely not fun, maybe not as bad as the first but there's certainly no 'glowing' over here. I feel like a very tired, very grumpy hippo.

badfurday · 14/10/2019 03:40

Currently wide awake, desperately tired but unable to sleep. Pregnancy insomnia? I've taken to sleeping in an upright position on the sofa for the last few nights as I just can't get comfortable in bed. I'm 33+1 and totally done with it now! I'm counting down my working days ( 5 weeks left) but seem to be doing more and more at work to get ready for maternity leave. I'm sure it wasn't this hard with the first? I'm so bloody irritable I'm surprised my husband is still around! 😂

VapeVamp12 · 14/10/2019 09:47

I could have written this myself this morning. I’m 33+3 and just the last week or so I feel so pregnant, it’s making me exhausted. I said to my husband last night I feel like I’m in limbo - too uncomfortable to do much like going out / for nice walks etc but still 7 weeks away! I’ve got work for 3 more weeks but it’s so hard to get out of bed in the morning cos I can’t sleep!
Had to sleep sitting up for part of last night cos I had terrible heart burn 😩

mistermagpie · 14/10/2019 10:20

Five more weeks of work here too... work is actually a breeze compared to being at home with two pre-schoolers mind you. Confused

lovebeingmum9 · 14/10/2019 10:47

Hi all I've come to join in with a moan 🤣 I'm 33weeks tomorrow and feel so drained! this is my 4th pregnancy and have 7yr old,5yr old and 2yr old.....I've had low iron and blood pressure this time so think that's partly to blame.....can't bear to imagine another 7 weeks and baby doubling in weight! 😲

mistermagpie · 14/10/2019 11:45

God does it double in weight?! I had a scan last week and they estimated baby was 4lb 8. My other two were 6'10 and 7'7 so am I going to get a 9 pounder this time?! Blush

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 14/10/2019 11:57

Can I join in please? I'm 33 weeks with what appears to be a truly giant baby. So I'm starting to get worried about how he's going to make his way into the world.
Haven't slept well in months but the last few night have been ridiculous. I have SPD too and no matter what side I lie on I get awful hip pain in addition to the pain I already have.
It was my birthday at the weekend and I couldn't physically do much. I got in the car to drive to work this morning and the pain was so bad when I went to change gear that I had to cut back off the motorway and come right back.
I think going forward I may well have to sleep on the couch but we only have one loo and it's up the stairs.

MerryDeath · 14/10/2019 12:18

Me! I don't even know how far I am... about months 3 to go. Last pregnancy was a piece of cake as all I had to do was attend my desk job, the rest of the time I just loafed about eating and sleeping. Now I've got a two 1/2 year old to please, a house to renovate, I'm still at work, a bump as big as #1 was when full term, and my lower back and pelvis are not happy AT ALL. I need to get him out!

lovebeingmum9 · 14/10/2019 13:05

@mistermagpie yes baby can double it's weight, apparently they gain around half a pound per week from now....I was scanned last week and was estimated 4lb11oz lol so around 8/9lb but some babies pack on more or less so all depends x

mistermagpie · 14/10/2019 13:41

Jeez, well nobody mentioned that! I actually prefer babies when they are a bit bigger, not as scary to hold etc, but I've never had to give birth to one before!
