What week did your stretch marks show?

Hi ladies, for those that have them...
Just curious to know when your stretch marks appeared?

About 30 weeks for me.

Final few weeks, I thought I’d got away with it

@ EntirelyAnonymised me too, started appearing on the bottom of my bump around week 37. Had them in my boobs since about week 6 though haha!

I didn't physically see them until I'd given birth.

Same as PP, around 30 weeks I think. They came with a vengeance and were really red and inflamed. Lower stomach, inner thighs and some round my waist. Don’t panic though, they do fade!

I never got any, either time.
I oiled my bump daily though---- really, I think you either get them,or you don't.

Week bloody 41.

I got 3 small stretch marks on my side about 3 weeks after I delivered.

I didn't see any until after I gave birth and everything settled back down.

I first got some at about 20 something weeks.

I'm 28 weeks now and have another couple

trying not to care too much. I have loads (that have faded) on my thighs and breasts anyway, have done since I was a teen.

42 for me too, bastards!

Nothing until about 35 weeks is moisturised religiously and thought I’d got away with it! He showed up 2 weeks later! Firmly believe it’s genetics and no amount of lotions or potions will help!

I didn’t get any after using lots of body butter and bio oil, but then my bump wasn’t that big and my mum never got them either - so I reckon this is most likely correct.

I didn't get any mainly down to sheer luck, but I have loads of cellulite so it's swings and roundabouts

Never did, in any of my 3 pregnancies that went 41, 40 and 42 weeks.

About 3-4 weeks after little one was born

I never did and I didn't oil my bump! Gave birth both times at 39 weeks though, so maybe if they'd stayed in longer? Very glad they came out when they did!

38 weeks for me and I have religiously oiled and moisturized every night.

Baby was late 1 week, stretch marks started 2 weeks before giving birth. Grrrr...
My mother didn’t get any. I looked after my skin religiously before, during and after pregnancy with the sole aim of preventing, then reducing stretch marks, no expense or time spared. It made bugger all difference!
If I knew, I would have definitely had a Caesarian timed at just before they started.
I think it’s luck of the draw, not genetic and not linked to any prevention measures.

Post birth. It's exacerbated by the loose skin and scar tissue of the stretches.

41 weeks. Delivered first baby at 42 weeks.

So annoying! I didn’t have a single stretch mark until I went overdue, and then it was suddenly like Edward Scissorhands had attacked me.

Week 24. Not many though, only on the hips.

38 weeks!

I didn’t get many, but the ones that did appear where on my hips, and not until about 3 or 4 weeks post delivery. So annoying. I got more at puberty though.

28 I had a couple and by 30 they were raging

First baby, angry purple ones. I'm 37 weeks now and they've not worsened but it was quite a shock for me
