This thread is moving so fast, sorry if I am not keeping up with everyone!

@janey15 that is so lovely! Great news.

@Frillyfarmer good luck today, will be thinking of you. I often go to scans on my own as my husband's job doesn't allow time off and we also struggle with childcare. I quite like it as I don't need to make small talk with anyone before hand when my anxiety is peak, but I appreciate it can be hard. I'm keeping all crossed for a good scan for you xxx

@InDreamland love JoJo! I go to the one in wanstead a lot. They do nice kids clothes. Will check out their tights!

janey15 · 21/08/2019 12:24

Home now and back on the sofa! I get such anxiety and physical tension when I got to hospital appointments that I'm shattered.

Anyway, feeling happy but still worried about the size as they dated me at 5+2 not 5+6. I know it's probably fine but you know what it's like! Next scan in 1 week and 6 days so that's the next milestone Shock

@Frillyfarmer thinking of you today. Fingers crossed for you that it's good news

firsttimemum1993 · 21/08/2019 13:06

@rubyroot will do a test closer to date of my next period 2nd september but I just have a feeling I am pregnant like i say nips have only ever been this way when I was pregnant before 🀭 thankya for replying x

Avocuddles · 21/08/2019 13:24

@janey15 so pleased that everything is looking good and that's incredible about seeing a heartbeat so early on!!!!

@Frillyfarmer hope your scan goes well, keep us posted xx

VenusStarr · 21/08/2019 14:06

@janey15 😍 amazing news, congratulations. And great they saw a heartbeat so early β™₯️ glad you have another scan booked too.

VenusStarr · 21/08/2019 14:14

Thank you @sadtoday21, tomorrow will definitely feel like a milestone 🀞 just hoping and praying for good news. I can definitely relate to not trusting body anymore. It's hard x

rubyroot · 21/08/2019 15:27

@janey15 I ignore their dates early on. They're not accurate. My boy measured a week behind around 5 weeks, but I knew my dates and by 12 weeks he was exactly at my dates. That's why they don't do the dating scan to 12 weeks, so don't worry it really doesn't mean anything

fnej01 · 21/08/2019 15:47

Congrats @janey15 as others have said don't fret too much at the days early on. I think there is some variability.

Thanks for all of the well wishes ladies. I woke up this morning with all symptoms back, sore boobies and nausea!

Pleased to say that all looked fine at the scan have moved forward 2 days and am now measuring 9 weeks instead of the 8+5 I was expecting. They are scanning me again in 2 weeks because of my history but they are pleased it's all looking good so far. This is now new territory for me, so am trying to be positive!

I wrote a massive reply to everyone last night and then managed to delete it without sending, but will try and do a big catch up later with everyone.

janey15 · 21/08/2019 15:48

Thanks @rubyroot I'm not actually certain about dates as things have been all over the place with fertility treatment and the miscarriage earlier this year. When I said it was a natural conception the nurse said 'oooh well done!' πŸ˜‚

Now I know it's ok at this stage today I'm just worrying it will stop developing so I'm not sure the scan is all that reassuring! I just can't stand to think that it might be our only chance and we may never be able to get pregnant again...

Anyway, positive pants on otherwise I'll end up moping!
Xxx

Avocuddles · 21/08/2019 16:48

@janey15 you've inspired me to get an early scan booked. There's a private ultrasound unit very near my office so going to try to get one booked for two weeks today when I'll be 7 weeks. I'm not feeling confident that I'll make it that far but only time will tell....

Try to keep those positive pants pulled up, there's no reason to think that this isn't your rainbow, and similarly no reason to think that you won't conceive future children naturally. When I had my MC after an unexpected natural pregnancy it sent me into a spiral of panic, but the day after I sobbed at my GP requesting another fertility referral I had my 2nd BFP. Our bodies clearly work in very mysterious ways! X

rubyroot · 21/08/2019 16:53

@fnej01 oooh we're quite similar. I'm 9 weeks 1 today by my last scan.
@janey15 I know the feeling, too well! I've had a six week and 8 week scan and now dreading the 10 week one. It's never ending.

VenusStarr · 21/08/2019 17:31

So pleased you had good news today @fnej01 and that you are having an additional scan in a couple of weeks. Wonderful news πŸ’œ

strawberrye · 21/08/2019 18:06

Sorry I don't have time to say hi to everyone as I'm about to head out, but just wanted to pop on to check out the scan results and wanted to say congratulations @janey15 and @fnej01, fantastic news! @Janey15 try not to worry about the dates that early, my first scan I was 6w by LMP but they put me at around 5w by size (but there was also a heartbeat). By my scan at 9+1 I was measuring perfectly and most recent scan at 10+4 bubs measured 2 days ahead at 10+6!!

Frillyfarmer · 21/08/2019 18:09

12+5 😊 puts me with an EDD of 28th February and everything looked good. Suddenly starting to feel like this will be my #2 πŸ₯°

ChikiTIKI · 21/08/2019 18:15

Oh wow @Frillyfarmer what a beautiful picture and a blessing. How are you feeling? Congratulations! Wishing you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy xxxx

rubyroot · 21/08/2019 18:19

Awwww lovely scan pic

janey15 · 21/08/2019 19:15

Thanks for the reassurances @rubyroot @fnej01

@VenusStarr I definitely have no trust in my body either 😟

@Avocuddles unfortunately I don't feel so sure after 4 and a half years of infertility 😐

Thank you @strawberrye that is good to know!

@Frillyfarmer what a beautiful picture!

Hey look at me doing lots of replies in one post πŸ˜‚

Currently on sofa again with feet up. Haven't felt very sick today but trying not to worry 😬

Catconfusion · 21/08/2019 19:41

Lovely news @Frillyfarmer ❀️

Good luck for tomorrow @VenusStarr you’ve got this! Xx

Avocuddles · 21/08/2019 19:57

@Frillyfarmer congrats on the scan, what a lovely clear one! Glad you're feeling more positive now.

@janey15 hope you manage to relax this evening. I haven't felt sick at all yet, just a bit gassy. Would be so nice to go a few hours without obsessing over symptoms but feels unlikely to happen for a good while yet.... Confused

Navy123 · 21/08/2019 20:05

Congrats on all the great scans in here.

Massively struggling today so sorry not to tag anyone individually. Feel so, so sick. I can't move or do anything. Food was a massive mistake. Just want to be sick and get it over with but equally hate being sick. Also feeling guilty for hating this feeling - this is what we wanted and it supposed to be a good sign so I should be pleased.

Scan tomorrow - hoping to see hb as I'll be 7+4.

VenusStarr · 21/08/2019 20:10

@frillyfarmer congratulations! Beautiful scan, so pleased for you

@Navy123 wishing you the best for tomorrow 🀞

@Catconfusion thank you, I feel a bit detached at the moment, partly because I'm so tired! Just hoping all is well. I know I will be OK even if the outcome isn't good news. How are you getting on? Any news on your scan date?

Catconfusion · 21/08/2019 20:31

@VenusStarr it sounds like you have the right attitude. I hope all is well! Unfortunately the sickness has kicked in so I’ve not been able to do much. I need to call EPAU tomorrow and book the scan. Probably early next week! Xx

VenusStarr · 21/08/2019 20:38

Sorry the sickness has kicked in, hope you get lots of rest @Catconfusion. Hope all goes well when you call the epu.
The scan is first thing so hoping I'll be back here with good news tomorrow 🀞 xx

rubyroot · 21/08/2019 20:49

@Navy123 @VenusStarr good luck for scabs tomorrow. Sending good vibes your way x
