I found out last week (at two days past expected AF) that I'm pregnant - had a BFP on a First Response test. This is my third pregnancy since October last year. Works out that I'm due around the 3rd Feb 2020.

I've had two miscarriages - one in October 2018 at 12 weeks which resulted in surgery and another in February 2019, which ended at 6 weeks. I'm really quite nervous, but hopeful that this time is third time lucky. 🤞🏻🌈

Is anyone else due in Feb 2020? Are you having any symptoms?

I agree, too much knowledge isn’t good, I’m in the same situation. I saw my GP tonight to get a midwife referral and she said the way I’m thinking/analysing everything is just typical of people in the medical field etc! Actually made me feel better that she didn’t think I was a total fruit loop!!
She did refer me, however she also referred me for an echocardiogram because she detected a heart murmur. I’m not overly worried because I know it’s common in pregnancy, but because I have never had that said before, have to get it checked out. Has anyone else had this? It’s just another appointment I have to try to attend without telling work why!!

Flowersandrainbows2017 · 25/06/2019 20:05

Oh and my current EDD from her is valentine’s day! How cute! (I know that’ll change and baby v unlikely to arrive that date, just cute for now!!)

Charly82 · 25/06/2019 20:39

Hi all, congratulations to you all!!

Found out yesterday I'm pregnant 4 weeks and 3 days and due 29/02!

Got really mixed emotions at the moment but maybe hormones are everywhere right now xx

Rainboe1 · 25/06/2019 21:53

Oooh leap year! I'm wondering if mine will come on the leap year (due 28th currently)

Charly82 · 25/06/2019 22:00

Sad thing is if he/she does arrive on the 29/02 they won't be able to celebrate their birthday really which is sad so it will have to be the 28th or the 1st March I suppose

tanitani · 26/06/2019 00:55

How’s everyone doing?
Can I be added to the Facebook group?

Was doing ok with morning sickness but today was actually sick for the first time - not fun. Sad

tisonlymeagain · 26/06/2019 10:17

As a reminder to anyone who wants to join the "secret" FB group - can you private message me either the email address attached to your Facebook account and/or your real name and a description of your profile pic so I can locate you. I will need to add you as a friend to add you to the group!

nemsrads · 26/06/2019 12:11

I got mine last night ... I'm only dating mine back to my last period so I'm bout 8 weeks.. not had a lot of symptoms other than heartburn and cramping (which seems to have started in last few days)

Gingerbreadlady1 · 26/06/2019 13:15

Hi all. I’ve been lurking for a while as it took a few weeks to sink in that this is happening. I’m 42 with a four year old and this is completely unplanned. Think that also makes me the oldest here Confused It’s also not great timing for a number of reasons but beginning to work through the raised issues, I’m due 10th so currently just over 7 weeks. Also no symptoms so that’s worrying. Getting an early scan next week due to previous miscarriages. So hello all, I know how much help and support we’ll give each other!

JellyBaby666 · 26/06/2019 18:27

Hi @Gingerbreadlady1 - how are you doing? I can imagine it feels like a long wait to your scan!

Gingerbreadlady1 · 26/06/2019 19:42

HI @JellyBaby666! Thanks for the welcome. Physically I really don’t feel any different yet, so hoping all is well. Mentally, it’s taken a bit to get used to the idea tbh. My son will be delighted! How’s everyone else doing today and you @jellybaby666?

Soda123x · 26/06/2019 19:47

Hi all,
I'm 5 weeks today going off my ovulation date. I have been googling and started the seven seas pregnancy multi vitamins today with the recommended 400ųg folic acid.
1st pregnancy and no symptoms as of yet. But one of my best friends are pregnant (7 weeks) and shes having a really rough time of it. She doesnt know I am yet (shes on her 4th) I am waiting until my 1st scan to tell anyone (other than my husband). I have read online morning sickness usually sets in after 6 weeks and from what shes going through I'm really not looking forward to it lol xx

Itsme26 · 26/06/2019 22:24

Hi everyone, I am due approx 14th Feb. This is my first pregnancy. I’m a little nervous and excited at the same time. I’ve booked an early scan for next week. I hope and pray everything’s ok. I’ve started experiencing some nausea and the cramping comes and goes like waves. I’ve mentioned it to my doctor who doesn’t seem too bothered but I am feel a bit anxious. Has anyone else been experiencing painful cramps?

Feeling really annoyed and upset this morning. I have been on antibiotics which i spoke to my docs surgery and a nurse said would be ok to continue but when i saw my GP this morning he said i shouldnt have been taking them.
He is writing to the Obgyn department for advice but may take a couple of weeks for a reply.
Got blood test monday and weds next week to see if HCG is doubling or not.

I want to book a private scan for this weekend. I would be 6+3. Has anyone had a scan this early? Did you see much?

ImMeantToBeWorking · 27/06/2019 09:27

Welcome to all the new ladies! Grin

@Itsme26 I get horrendous cramps on and off. I hadn't got them in a few weeks but I did again last night, and OMG. I was crying in the bed cuddling my pillow into my tummy. I hear it is normal too but I am so worried. I am with VHI so I get Midwifes on call, and I have rang in about it and they said if no blood it is normal. I had a MC before so I am so worried but it is a different kind of pain this time so fingers crossed it is nothing.

ImMeantToBeWorking · 27/06/2019 09:35

@WineOrGin my boobs aren't as sore as last week, but my poor nipples are still sore!!

@Wishing56 I hope everything goes OK for you, hopefully the GP was only taking an extra precaution getting you to stop taking them.

I had a talk with DP last night about our dog, it seems as though he does not want a sibling. Yesterday alone he jumped from the ground, on to my tummy and on to the couch twice, did it in the bed once also, and he ran and jumped up on me when we were out walking. He is a spolit dog, always on the couch beside me (despite him having two arm chairs in the sitting room), sleeps in the bed. I think it is time we get him his own bed for the bedroom and make him sleep in that, or put him back sleeping down stairs. It just the cute puppy eyes he gives me when I go up stairs and leave him down stairs break my heart! But in the new house (when it is finally built) he will not be sleeping (or allowed in) the bedrooms so prob best to train him now eh?

Itsme26 · 27/06/2019 09:49

@immeantobeworking thank you very much for the sweet reply.
I had very tender boobs to begin with but they have seemed to ease off. I feel like nausea is every 2nd day or so at the moment. It’s nice to hear that I am not alone with these cramps. I feel like im being dramatic but just hoping all is ok. I also don’t think the whole constipation thing helps either. I didn’t think anything was an issue but doc told me to up my fibre aswell. Yeah the OH was wanting to go to hospital two nights ago cause I was in a lot of discomfort. I said the doc said if there’s no spotting or anything like that it’ll just be my body adjusting. It’s just not knowing I feel. Hopefully I’ll relax and have a positive scan next week. I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.

JellyBaby666 · 27/06/2019 10:00

Welcome to new members of the club!

@Gingerbreadlady1 I'm okay thank you, took myself off to bed last night, was so tired and hormonal I just needed some sleep! Feel a tad more human this morning, still quite nauseous though which I'm getting used to I think!

@Wishing56 How annoying for you, hopefully the GP can get some answers quickly. In terms of a scan, at 6 weeks you should see the sac, fetal pole and possibly a heartbeat! However depending on your dates sometimes you can't see it all if you're a bit earlier than 6 weeks, and will need a repeat scan a little later (this happened to my SIL bless her, she had an irregular cycle so estimated she was about 6+5 on her scan but she was about a week earlier). Big hugs to you.

ImMeantToBeWorking · 27/06/2019 10:37

@Itsme26 are you taking a pregnancy supplement? I found when I started taking pregnacare in the morning I was so constipated (and getting horrific cramps every night), so I now take it in the evening instead, I am having a bowl of cereal in the morning too which I never did before, I think that's why my cramps eased so much. Yesterday I did not have fiber at lunch, could be why I felt bad last night. Exactly a lack of spotting means it is nothing to worry about according to my VHI midwife. Luckily I seem to have escaped the nausea for the moment, fingers crossed it lasts. Best of luck to you too!

Itsme26 · 27/06/2019 10:42

I might give that a try as I do take them in the morning. I’ve been taking porridge in the morning as I thought that was a good bet
Hopefully that’ll make a difference though.

ImMeantToBeWorking · 27/06/2019 14:52

@Itsme26 I'm telling you, swapping to evening time was a game changer for me, and deff keep up the fiber intake. Hopefully it will work for you.

autumnfires · 27/06/2019 16:01

@ImMeantToBeWorking my pup is the exact same. Jumping up and stomping on my tum. Do you think they can sense it already? I think he was probably like this before but I didn't notice as much!

ImMeantToBeWorking · 28/06/2019 09:49

@autumnfires apparently dogs can sense it, and I think my fella does by the way he now lies his head on my tummy which only started just before I got my BFP, and it is the reason I took a test. But maybe he forgets? Or wants to stay an only child. lol

pandaobsessed · 29/06/2019 08:56

Thank you ladies who wished me well whilst I was in hospital. I'm doing a lot better now after being prescribed anti-sickness tablets (which I have been told are safe to take).

Although I'm stressing a bit now because I've work up this morning, like yesterday, feeling nearly normal with no nausea. I'm 8+5 and with my DS I had bad sickness until about 12 weeks! Anyone else the same?
