How long did your Sure Start Maternity Grant take to come through...?

Hi, I'm just about to send off the forms and wondered how long it will take to come through - anybody had any experience with this?

I sent mine in the first time then got denied as I wasn't 29 weeks. I got told by citizen advice and my midwife I could dispute it. The DWP told me nope id have to reapply. I did that. I received a text on the 13th of July saying I'd receive a decision in 21days. I am on uc and have been since January. I am due to get paid on the 4th of next month which is like 2 weeks away, and I will be 34 weeks at that point, so I'm a little worried. As I have read on this thread they pay it after uc, but they can see i have been paid up until this month, and continuing. I will keep you updated. BTW this is my first baby. Sorry this is long.

Hi, did you receive your maternity grant ? If so how long after your universal credit went in for the month did you get the grant I’m waiting to be paid my universal credit this month on the 16th but was wondering how quickly after you receive that grant.
